A good environment for education in center of nature,Sahyadri College of Engineering and Management.
Placements: Around 80% of students are placed. The highest salary package was 43.43 LPA for the CSE branch in Belc. The average salary package is 3.5 to 4 LPA for all branches. The lowest salary package was 3 LPA overall. Top recruiters include Japanese companies, Karmic Design, Infosys, Rinex Technology, and many more. Around 250+ companies visited and offered 480 offer letters in the last campus drive.
Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are available for both boys and girls. The hostel is within the campus. It is affordable, clean, well-maintained, and semi-furnished. A dedicated study space is available on each floor. The food has nutritional value, and the quality is very good. Other facilities include Wi-Fi, hot water purifiers, an outdoor gym, an indoor gym, a cricket ground, a football court, etc.
Faculty: All teachers are well-qualified and clear each and every doubt of the students. Our college is autonomous and comes under VTU Belagavi. About 80% of the syllabus is fixed by VTU, and the remaining 20% is a flexible syllabus set according to industry requirements. There will be three internal assessments and one final semester exam. The passing percentage is 40%.

I am absolutely satisfied because of good faculty members and placements.
Placements: Sahyadri College of Engineering and Management is known for good placements across Karnataka and India. More than 90% of students get placed in MNCs from this college. In electronics and communication engineering, more than 85% of students get placed in service and product-based companies. Top recruiting companies are Cognizant, Infosys, Wipro, Mindtree, etc. More than 250+ companies come here for placements. The minimum salary package offered is 3.5 LPA and it also depends on the company. Students can get internships from the college itself as there are some startups in the college. Students can work there and gain good knowledge.
Infrastructure: The college has a good infrastructure and study environment. Lab facilities are good. There are good Wi-Fi facilities in our college. Classrooms are comfortable and have smart class facilities. It has a very good library with good infrastructure. There is a mess in our college that provides very good food at comfortable prices. There is a cricket ground, badminton ground, and indoor games. There is a restroom for medical emergencies.
Faculty: Teachers are very good and friendly with students. Their teaching quality is average. Teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable. The course does not make students completely ready for the industries but partially. Semester exams are not so difficult to pass.
Other: I chose electronics and communication engineering because I was very much interested in it. The college conducts many fests and programs, and we can enjoy our engineering life.

I am satisfied with its good placements facility.
Placements: Around 400 students were placed out of 700 students. The highest salary package offered was 20 LPA. T CS and Infosys were the top recruiting companies. Many students got internships for this course.
Infrastructure: In this college, Wi-Fi was available but it was not open students should ask permission to set it for their mobile and then use it. Laboratories and classrooms were also provided. There was library facility. I stayed 1 year in hostel facility which was good. The hostel food was not good, and it need improvement.
Faculty: The lectures were qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality was also good. The course curriculum was relevant which would make students industry-ready. Exams were hard and I got less percentage.

SCEM - Build and innovate engineers.
Placements: The placements are good. Many students are placed in various companies with good packages. Domain-based and IT-based companies visit to hire the students. They provide internships, training and give nice postings with good facilities.
Infrastructure: There are many books to refer to, learn and study. There is an excellent library on the 1st floor in the main building, where students can come and study, work on assignments, discuss and gain knowledge. We have a digital library too, with many facilities.
Faculty: Education and projects are taken parallel. Hence, we get practical skills also. There is a good bonding between professors and students. Many activities are held, where our strengths are in the picture and we gain skills.

One of the top colleges in Bangalore.
Placements: I got placed in Tech Mahindra. Overall, 75% of the students got placed. Those who are eligible for placement were given a good number of opportunities. The PO is average in getting companies but is trying a lot. I feel that the placement results are good. Only a few core companies visit the campus.
Infrastructure: With a great atmosphere, the infrastructure of the college is good. Wi-Fi labs, classrooms with projectors, medical facilities, a huge library with more than 5-lakh books and technical magazines, very good canteen facility with hygienic food are available. I would recommend everyone to join Sahyadri.
Faculty: They are following VTU curriculum presently, but I think that within the next 3-4 years, this college will be autonomous. The faculty members are okayish and not that great. If you are a self-learner, then this is a good college. You can expect no free hours in the college. The rules and regulations are strict.
Other: The extracurricular activities in the college are good.

An amazing infrastructure to learn.
Placements: Very good and reputed companies have visited our college for placements. Even for EC people, IT companies come for the recruitment. Less number of core companies come for the EC people. Software testing is the main job role that is offered, and the salary offered ranges from 18,000 to 27,000. Some of the companies which have come are UST Global, Infosys-mainly for mass recruitment, SLK Software, IBM and even call centres come for the placement.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are very spacious, and the library has got many numbers of books related to academics, journal papers, competitive exam books etc. A nice atmosphere is created in and around the college mainly for group studies. The college is constructed near to river Nethravathi. Hostels for both boys and girls are built inside the campus only which are always kept neat and clean. Food is provided for the hostel students but the quality was not that good. No infrastructure-related issues were faced during the college time. Wi-Fi is provided here 24x7.
Faculty: Irrespective of which branch you are in, all the faculty members are really helpful. They are highly educated and have high knowledge in the respective fields. Being an EC student, I can say that most of my lecturers were highly qualified and very supportive. The course syllabus we followed is the VTU syllabus, which was really helpful in understanding the basic knowledge to the new technologies.

Really good infrastructure and placement.
Placements: The placement department of Sahyadri College is really working great. More than 400 students of 2016 batch got placed in different companies. Many good companies have visited the campus twice. All the companies offered best salaries to the placed students and also, many students got internships in topmost companies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is commendable. Free Wi-Fi is available inside the college and the hostel. Sahyadri supports all types of extracurricular activities along with best academic performance. The canteen of Sahyadri College is excellent in its construction and provide quality food. Both girls' and boys' hostels are inside the campus. The hostel rooms are clean.
Faculty: My experience with the faculty is awesome. They all were very helpful during the academic period. They all are ready to help students even during the holidays. They come to the college to help students who are interested in doing their projects. All the teachers are qualified and knowledgeable. Each department has at least one industrial visit.

A really good place to have awesome memories.
Placements: Really good placements. In our batch, a majority got placed
In various companies
Nearly 410 students got placed from our batch.
Non-CS companies do come for placements.
I myself got placed in two companies.average package is around 3k per annum.
Placements are really good.
Infrastructure: Good and calm location to study. Facilities are commendable.
Good library and sports facilities. Wi-Fi is available for hostel wards.
The college has won various university championships. Classrooms are fully equipped.
Quality of labs are good. Food available in canteen is good.
Hostel rooms are spacious and neatly maintained.
I didn't face any infrastructure related issues during my tenure.
Faculty: Under VT University, some facilities are really good. They are qualified. Industrial exposure wasn't given. Student to faculty ratio was pretty high.
Teaching methods included presentations and discussions on related topics.
Overall, the experience regarding the university and teaching was good.
