Review of Sammilani Mahavidyalaya.

Placements: The placement cell is working actively to place students. If we are lucky enough we can get a job in companies like TCS. The main focus is on BPO customer service and back-office executive jobs. It provides many skill development courses, so we can attend them. Regular job fairs are offered which will give us many opportunities. But do not expect a huge salary. It will be only around Rs. 10,000 per month.

Infrastructure: Classrooms and labs are good. There is no hostel facility from the college so if we want we can stay in the hostel around that area. Anyway, classrooms and labs are clean enough. But the canteen is very small. The food quality is not that good according to price.

Faculty: Faculty members are good, and they are more like friends. We have so much fun there. Some teachers will give us life lessons too. This college will not make us industry-ready. Semester exams are conducted by Calcutta University and it is quite moderate to tough. But if we do not study, we will surely fail.

Other: I chose this course simply because I wanted to. The commerce department teachers are good but lazy too. This is the only thing I want to improve. Campus life is fabulous. If we are in culture, then this college is best for us. It has singing, dancing, sports, drawing, crafting and we will get everything there.

Placements: Approximately 25-30% of students get placed from my college. There are no other options for package selection. Top companies recruiting include TDS, Tata, Reliance, among others. About 10-12% of students secured internships at Tata and several other companies. A few days ago, there was an internship opportunity at my college, with a minimum of 20 to 25 students getting selected. The top roles offered in my course include ISC A, CS, C.M.A. manager, accounting, etc.

Infrastructure: The college has all the necessary facilities, such as a library, Wi-Fi, labs, and a computer room. However, the Wi-Fi speed is somewhat slow, and essential books are not available in the library. The computer room is often locked. The canteen has improved and is cleaner now, and the food prices are lower compared to outside.

Faculty: The college teachers are excellent; they are always willing to help. Even if there is only one student, the teachers still conduct classes for that individual. The college's pass percentage is around 70-80% each semester. Overall, the teachers are very good.

Other: wanted to work in the banking sector, which is why I'm pursuing this course. Knowledge of accounts is essential for a job in banking, so I chose this program. There are very few events in college, almost none. The college takes proper fees for everything, but our college is lacking when it comes to events.

They don't spend anything on students, but they take feels right on time.

Placements: There are 20% of students are placed in my college. There are no other options to choose a package. Top companies recruiting are Tata, reliance, etc. 8% of students have got an internship in Tata and many more companies. The top roles offered in my course are ISC, manager, account, etc.

Infrastructure: Our college has all the facilities like the library, Wi-Fi, labs, and computer room, but the quality is not good. The Wi-Fi speed is very slow and the connection doesn't even reach the entire college properly. In the library, half of the books aren't even available. There are no ACs in the classrooms, just ceiling fans, while all the sir/mam's rooms have ACs. The washrooms are very dirty. There's a canteen, but it's not open, and the food is also terrible. There's a small gym, but it's not useful. And the playground is never cleaned, and the seats are also dirty.

Faculty: The college professors are very good, helpful, and knowledgeable. If students have any problem, the professors explain everything well. They respond whenever we call them. The semester exams are fairly conducted, and around 80% of students pass the exams.

Other: "I took the B.Com course because I wanted to work in the banking sector, and for that, I needed knowledge of accounts. However, if the computer rooms in the college had some improvement, it would have been better since I don't have a computer at home. No event happens properly in the college, not even the fresher event. When we joined, no event was organized for us. The college is very bad. During inspections, the professors just give students samosas and a laddu, and they don't spend anything on students, instead, they use the feels for everything.

Average facility and average infrastructure. Satisfied with good placement in 2025.

Placements: A small number of students are placed in the course. The average package offered is reasonable. Some of the top companies recruiting from our course include Birla, Tata, and others. Approximately 10% of students secured internships. The top role associated with my course is CA Accountant.

Infrastructure: The facility does not include a hostel or Wi-Fi. There is a canteen; however, the food quality is poor. Medical facilities are unavailable, and while there are some sports options, they are limited. The quality of the labs and classrooms is average, but the library is good, featuring air conditioning and a wide variety of books.

Faculty: Many teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is average. The course curriculum is relevant but those curricula are early celebrates. Exams are very easy. The pass percentage is 45%. All good but teaching quality can be better.

Other: I love business better opportunities can improve my course. The event, and fest are going but early. The campus is very good and gate.

Satisfied with this college, but they need many improvements. I am hopeless of their teaching.

Placements: This college has a small number of internships, and only for specific students. But, companies like Birla do recruit from here. Around 5% of students get internships in companies like Birla and Tata. The course provided is average, with no other choice. In my course, they offer roles like CA, manager, etc.

Infrastructure: Classrooms are good, but the canteen is a mess. They provide cheap quality food. The library is good and has AC. Labs are in average condition but have many equipment. But, the whole college has no Wi-Fi facility. They have AC only for teachers. There is no hostel or staying option. Sports and games are good but always in trouble.

Faculty: The teaching quality is below average. They have a course-related curriculum, but it is mainly for arts students. The semester exams are pretty difficult, and the pass percentage is 30%. They have other courses such as spoken English and computer courses etc. Teachers are very helpful and qualified, but they have a present issue.

Other: I love business strategy, which is why I chose this course. I think better teaching experience makes any course better. The campus crowd is normal, and they organize only small types of events, there are no fests. But I love the college campus, it is full of greenery and peace of mind.

Satisfied with the faculty and the infrastructure of the college.

Placements: Placement services are average. One can get an average package of 150000 rupees. The college is trying their best to provide maximum placements and offering various skill training courses for better opportunity in future. In my batch, there are around 178 students. A few of them got placed from the college.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very nice and the campus is clean and tidy. The classrooms are also big. We have a gym, a canteen and a play room. There are various types of games including table tennis, carrom, and football available. We also have an average sized football field with a gallery for sitting. Food quality is nice but it’s a little costly. Wi-Fi was also nice. The library is very good and fully air conditioned. There are many computers available to be used for personal work.

Faculty: The teachers are quite helpful and polite. They are well qualified but the only problem is that they are lazy. Most of them don’t take classes regularly. But overall their teaching quality was impressive. The course doesn't make us industry ready. The semester exams were quite tough as they’re conducted by the Calcutta University, but if one studies properly, they can manage to get good marks.

Other: I was a commerce student in school and after that I took admission in B.Com in this college. There's a big shopping mall besides the campus so whenever I didn’t want to attend the classes I would go to the mall for time pass. Another thing is that it's on the main road and all types of transportation is available at the location. Many shops are present including stationary and food stall in the shopping mall. The college also conducted many programs which are totally free for the students. Many celebrities come in the events. The seniors are also helpful and nice towards the juniors.

Our college educational structure is very well.

Placements: There are few placements for all courses. If you can perform well, you can definitely get a placement from the college. Teachers are very helpful here, and they will always help you in studies and other cases. Teachers will always help you how to get placements in the interview.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good here. Classrooms are very clean and tidy. Free Wi-Fi is available for all students, and there is a very good library in our college. There are computer labs, scientific labs, etc. There is a very good canteen on the college ground.

Faculty: The courses structure is very good. The teachers here are very well behaved and very helpful. There is a CBSC structure in our college educational system, i.e., there will be six semesters in three years. Semester exams are not very tough and very easy. The semester system helps students to study well.

Other: Our college ground is very good. A playground and a gallery are surrounding it. Two events are organised in a year in the college.

A growing Institute providing above average level of education and other activities.

Placements: This is college affiliated under Calcutta University, with a B+ accreditation from NAAC. This College offers courses in various fields i.e Science, Arts and Commerce, the education facilities provided here is above average. I enrolled for B.Com (H) in the year 2016 there were a total of 159 students in the course. No placements were offered from the college.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure in this college is above average and is continuing with its further improvements. The classrooms, library, computer labs are properly equipped with all the needful materials and well maintained. This college doesn't have a hostel facility. The canteen is well maintained and medical facilities too. Sports and other activities occur frequently.

Faculty: The teaching quality in this Institute is good, teachers are always ready to help the students in need. The teachers are well qualified for their subjects and they provide us with all the information about the topic. The curriculum is relevant up to some extent because it's as important to have practical experience as theoretical knowledge.

Other: The reason for choosing this course was completing +2 with a commerce background. Our course mainly focuses on theoretical knowledge so I guess changes wouldn't make any drastic improvements.
