All infrastructure are good.

Placements: Companies come for SGM placements, such as Bajaj, TCS, Wipro, and Mahindra. So many students are placed in these companies and work happily, and the salary packages are average or moderate. The lowest package of placements is 1.5 lacs, and the highest packages are approximately 4.5 lacs.

Infrastructure: In college, Wi-Fi is available everywhere for all students, and classrooms are cleaned every day with machines.

Faculty: The faculty is good for me and my studies. They help me with my studies by providing all study notes, important questions, and other resources. Teachers are very helpful, with qualifications and knowledge. They teach practical things in workshops and labs for real-life-based learning. The semesters are not easy but not hard. They are moderate. Teachers help with exam studies.

Other: Events are for freshers and all students.

This college is so nice, you come here on a visit and see all over campus and the whole college.

Placements: Around 40-50% of the students were placed through both on-campus and off-campus opportunities. The highest package offered was about 4 - 5 LPA, and the lowest package ranged between 2.5-3 LPA. Some of the top recruiting companies included TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, and a few local software and service-based companies. Around 60-70% of the students received internships in IT companies, private firms, startups, and local industries, either through the college or through personal efforts. The top roles offered during placements were Software Developer, Junior Programmer, IT Support Executive, Data Entry Analyst, and Trainee Engineer.

Infrastructure: Our department has decent classrooms, labs, campus Wi-Fi, and a well-stocked library. Hostel rooms are clean everyday with lots of workers. Mess food is average but hygienic, medical aid is available, and teachers help in my studies, and they provide all notes, etc.

Faculty: The teachers were mostly helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable, and the teaching quality was good overall. Students needed extra self-practice to become job-ready. Semester exams were of moderate difficulty, with an average pass percentage of around 80-85%.

Other: I take mechanical engineering at SGM because its fee is less than that of other colleges. I get the EBC scholarship instantly.

Good learning environment with supportive faculty and decent placement opportunities.

Placements: I am a student of the B.Teach Computer Science and Engineering batch of 2021-2025 at Sant Gajanan Maharaj College of Engineering, Mahagaon. Placement percentage: Around 40% of students from the CSE department were placed in the 2024 passing-out batch.

Infrastructure: The computer science department has well-equipped computer labs with internet access, projectors in classrooms, and campus-wide Wi-Fi (though speed can vary). The central library has a good collection of technical books and digital resources. Lab sessions and project work are supported with the required tools.

Faculty: Most of the teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They explain topics clearly and are open to doubts even outside class hours. Some faculty members have M.Teach or Ph.D. degrees. Practical sessions and project guidance are also decent. A few teachers use PowerPoint presentations and real-life examples to explain concepts better.

Other: I have always been interested in technology, programming, and building real-world applications, so computer science was the natural choice for me. The course offers vast career opportunities in software development, data science, AI, and full-stack development.
