Really good infrastructure.

Placements: Out seniors were placed in a well known companies. Around 60% of students are joining to job every year. Companies like Byjus, cocubes are still more regular visitors. For a new passed out student, it may be difficult to find the job individually. Whereas placements in colleges helps in this criteria.

Infrastructure: The college provides you facilities like Wi-Fi, transportation, academic circular activities. All classroom are well equipped with projectors. A quality in food and hygiene canteen is well maintained. Seperate hostel for boys and girls is provided at an reasonable fare.

Faculty: Lectures in this college are humble and friendly but in their limits. Each and every concept in the syllabus is thought very easily. Visual representation of any topic in the syllabus we be easily accessible to the student by the adoption of this way. In this college student to faculty ratio is about 100 to 15.

Other: Every thing is good. ! Excellent fest. Good scholarship.

Sapthagiri is a worthy college.

Placements: Our college has placements from all around the world. The best ones are Microsoft, Mind tree, Infosys, etc. The highest salary offered was around 4.50 lacs per annum and the minimum was around Rs. 75,000 per annum. Most of the posts were for workers and assistants. Overall, the placements were good.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of Sapthagiri is very wide with gardens and libraries both digital and normal. The classrooms accommodate 70 students, and there are other facilities like labs for all subjects, sports room, medical room, etc. There is a canteen and stationery shop inside the campus for students and teachers.

Faculty: The teachers are very helpful. Some of them have more than 2 MDS. Some teachers who stay in hostel teach students in the hostel also. They use projectors to teach sometimes. The campus is outside the city, so there is no industry exposure. The faculty to student ratio is 1:47.

Other: Weekly forum activities take place, and a cultural fest named Sankalp is organised once a year.

Good college for people looking to get placed at the end of 4 years.

Placements: Good placements happen every year. Companies like Amazon visit the campus every year, thanks to the placement team of sapthagiri college of engineering. Many startups also visit the campus on a regular basis. Big companies like TCS and Infosys have also visited the campus.

Infrastructure: Brilliant infrastructure is provided. The labs are very well-equipped. There is an amphibian theatre. And it has a lush or greenery all over the campus. The conference room is also well-equipped with good seating arrangement and speakers. Classrooms are also well organised.

Faculty: Brilliant faculty members are available in the college. After I vacated the college premises there was a change in the computer Science department HOD. But rumours say that the new HOD of the department is also very well educated and a wise person to work with.

Other: There is fest every year called sankalp that happens and the college encourages students to attend fests of other colleges.

My Dream college for becoming a Graphical designer, Game programming and designing.

Placements: Good. Some got in Microsoft. Some got at Infosys. Some were not so lucky. The percentage of the students that were placed was 87 percent. The highest salary offered was 5 Lacs per annum. The post that was offered for the highest salary was MD. The percentage of internship was 52 percent. The highest and the lowest salary offered for internship was 50k and 70k per annum. There is a placement cell in our college.

Infrastructure: It has library as well as digital library. College infrastructure is so big that it got 2 playgrounds. 1 big park and many places to sit. It also contains shop for purchases inside the college. Digital classes, Wi-Fi labs and there are 3 hostel for boys and 2 for girls.

Faculty: There are 47 experienced facilities and 17 junior lectures. The faculty to student ratio is 1:45. The campus is completely outside the pollution area. The course curriculum is gopd for higher knowledge. So (8) teachers has doctorate. While others are senior professors.

Other: Once a year our event fest takes place "Sankalp". And there are 3 periods for forum activities every week. 2 periods for sports.

I am satisfied with the faculty here. The placements of this college are okay.

Placements: The placements are good in this college. The students who are above the eligibility criteria mostly get the jobs in this college. The computer science branch is having more placements than any other branches. The average salary package that a software engineer can get is 3.5 to 4 LPA.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college is neither too bad nor too good. The greenery is good. The college has provided us with good infrastructure, and the buildings are getting renovated time to time, and also the new blocks are being constructed time to time. The playgrounds are also levelled, and they are made good for playing.

Faculty: The main advantage of studying in this college is we will get the support from the faculty members. A student gets full support from the faculty, and they are always available during the college hours and are desperate to solve any problems that a student is facing either in studies or beyond that the course curriculum is okay as it is connected to VTU.

Other: Overall, the rating of college in all aspects will be 7 out of 10 in my perspective. The students who wish to join this college should be hardworking as they mainly focus on study in this college. The crowd is good here, and the campus is nice with good surroundings. Nowadays, they are focusing on the events mainly which enhances the skills of the student.

A good college to spend 4 years. The average infrastructure.

Placements: The placements have improved from this year. Last year, the placements were bad in our college. This time, however, people got good packages, and few companies like Accolite offered 12-14 lpa packages. If you're a good student and can score well, then you have good chance to get into these companies and pick a great package. The chances of big companies like Google, Yahoo, and Facebook coming in our college are very thin. The maximum salary offered this year was 12 lac whereas the minimum salary went as low as 2.25 lpa. The average salary is 3 lpa. The placement percentage is 85%, but it fluctuates from year to year.

Infrastructure: The college promises free Wi-Fi, but it is a myth. The Wi-Fi never works even if it is connected. The classrooms are okay but they are never painted, and you can see some paint coming out from walls. There is no A/C, only fans. You can use the internet in labs which is good. There are two libraries, one is the usual library with books on the shelf. The new books have come from this year as the scheme has changed. You get the free medical consultation at their hospital, but you have to pay full price for the medicines and treatments. There is one basketball court and one volleyball court which is also used as parking of cars. The cultural fest called Sankalp is observed in March, and it hosts games that are fun. There are plenty of labs and it is good. The canteen is cheap but not plenty of options to eat. The hostel rooms are above average, but the food in a mess is really a mess.

Faculty: The faculty changes very often, and most good teachers have already left the college. The teachers that I got were new but good. They explain the topics very well, but some are not able to complete all the 10 chapters because of the large syllabus from VTU. The teachers are helpful although not very qualified. Most of the teachers are female in computer science and are very young. The student to faculty ratio is good like 20:1. The college regularly provides training skills by calling teachers from outside and give new exposure to the students. They also provide opportunities to students by encouraging them to do some projects. According to VTU, assignments are given to us which I personally hate. Apart from that, they don't charge you extra for low attendance.

Other: Foremost, our college is located in Bengaluru, Karnataka and not in Tamil Nadu. The college fee for the non-Karnataka student is very high. We pay 2 lacs as tuition fee only. The college faculty are mostly new, therefore I have no idea about the new teachers. The location of our college is very good, and it is easily reachable from BMTC bus. Distance from Yesvantpur Railway station is also close, and it hardly takes 45 mins from there. The nearest metro station Dasarahalli is also close to the college.

Dissatisfied with faculty and recent placements.

Placements: For our senior batch, only one from CSE department and 5 from IS department were placed. By this, anyone can make out the placement in our college. Rest, according to reports, it says that 78% students got placed. After some issues with Infosys, they have stopped visiting our college for hiring. They may start hiring after a year or two. In campus, placements are good and the placement cell members are cooperative and helpful in nature. They give training and seminars to all the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th year students to improve their communication skills and hence get placed easily.

Infrastructure: The hostel is good only if the rooms are considered but the food is too bad with only south Indian dishes and is bad for non-vegetarians because you won't get non-veg here. The labs of CSE are good and new with high-speed internet in reference library. The gym is not well equipped but good enough to keep you fit. There's an in-campus girls hostel, and Sapthagiri medical hospital for health issues. The college canteen is good with a CCD in our campus, Lush green environment with trees and flowers everywhere.

Faculty: Almost all the faculty members are with MSc degrees. Rest who are with B.Tech degrees are not experienced and are freshers, but they are always support and will help you in studying. The course, as the college comes under VTU, follows its courses and syllabus.

Other: As of now, the condition of our college is bad in all the categories, be it the placements or faculty or infrastructure. All types of shops are there near the college. Anyone who wants to stay in a flat or paying guest can stay within 3 km radius of the college area. The college may improve in future but as of now, nothing can be said.

A college that is only a shadow of its former self

Placements: Placements are good, but that doesn't guarantee you a job. Not everyone gets placed. This is mainly due to the fact that Mass recruiters like Infosys and TCS did not come to come this year.The placements for the batches that came before us was extremely good compared to us. The college has a policy of only one job offer per student that sometimes leads to unfortunate circumstances. The average package would be around 3 lakhs per annum. Companies like NTT Data, Mphasis, Accord and much more have come to our college this year. The placement office is often hostile and unapproachable to the students. The placement training is of no use and feels like an obligation by the placement department.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is quite poor. Each department has one floor at its disposal. Some classrooms have projectors while others do not. Labs have working, but old computers. The Wi-Fi connection is very poor and therefore no one can use it. The canteen is very poor with substandard food. Only a few classes have projectors, so there is great demand for those classrooms. There is no room inside the college to sit and do general work. The library is large and well-equipped, but working there has a lot of restrictions.

Faculty: The faculty members at our college are very qualified and knowledgeable. Most of them teach well.But they do not encourage anything else except the curriculum. The focus is just on the attendance and curriculum. There are no department events, no relevant workshops or clubs (like coding club, the quizzing club, etc.). There are absolutely no inter-college events. The industry exposure is quite low, our industry exposure was a trip to the Infosys campus in the electronic city where we saw the buildings and came back. But other batches did not have the luxury of that either. The VTU-set curriculum is outdated and irrelevant in today's standards but that has been since revised for my juniors and the future batches to come.

Other: Sapthagiri College of Engineering was an excellent college when I started my engineering, but has failed to improve over the course of four years and has quickly deteriorated into a below average engineering college. The greatest positive of the college is its lecturers who are some of the most qualified and competent teachers, but already, most of them have started leaving the college.Some of the best lectures I had during my engineering have already left the college. I pray that the management takes steps to prevent this from happening.
