Satisfied in terms of studies, but not in terms of exposure related to different companies.
Placements: Placements were good this time. Around 65% plus got placed in various companies from different branches and package range was around 2.5 lacs/annum to 4.7 lacs/annum. Various companies like Infosys, Indian Navy, Microland and many other tech support companies visited for placements. Roles given to them was according to their talent and the capability of doing well in what they are good at and even marks of the cutoff criteria were considered.
Infrastructure: The college has the infrastructure, but having good sports facilities is the challenge faced by the people those who belong from the sports background. Labs, other computers and library facilities are good at this college. Even a canteen is provided with a decent food quality and it contains a small Cafe Coffee Day hut. There are 5-floor buildings and more floors aren't provided with lifts.
Faculty: Faculty members are only focused on completing the portion of the syllabus of the respective subjects. There is no industry exposure and the ratio is around 1:4 (faculty members: students). Teachers are rated based on different categories like the method of teaching, notes provided by them, partiality towards the students, etc. Faculty members are graded by each student and this information is kept a secret. They are even changed as per students' demand.

It is a good college but being ready for industry depends on individual requirements.
Placements: Sapthagiri College of Engineering offers all courses related to engineering stream and professional courses such as MBA, MCA, etc. It offers off-campus placements also. I got 71% in my academics. During our course duration, placements were provided, but students couldn't entirely depend on it.
Infrastructure: Hostel and canteen facilities were available for both domestic and international candidates. Both foreigners, locals and other states student study in this college. The atmosphere on the campus was good and some good changes took place in recent years.
Faculty: Teachers in our college were helpful and qualified. But I depend mostly on self, instead of depending on teachers. I did self-study and scored well. Being industry-ready depends on the individuals as well.
Other: College is a good college but don't rely much on staff. The campus crowd included students from different states. During our course, we had many students from Bhutan and Nepal. I learned good English by communicating with students from other states.
