B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2025

Extraordinary good placements in 2025.
Placements: Nearly 90% of those who have applied have already been placed in reputed companies, with 3 more months to go for the final year to end. The highest package is 11.4 LPA and the lowest is 3.75 LPA. The average might be around 6 to 6.5 LPA. Top recruiters include Mahanagar Gas Ltd and Thyssenkrupp in the core mechanical domain, while ICICI Bank and AXIS Bank are in the non-core domain. Internships aren't offered by our college, one needs to find them on their own, except for a few PPO opportunities provided at the end of the 3rd year. The top roles offered are in Design, Thermal, Project Management, and Sales domains.
Infrastructure: Labs are fully functional. The hostel quality is above average and cost-effective. There are 4 playgrounds and adequate sports equipment for recreational activities.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified, but one needs to approach them with their problems as they can't give individual attention in a class of 60 students. The curriculum is relevant and makes the students industry-ready, just the availability of computer software is a demerit. Exams are not difficult, and the pass percentage is almost above 80%. Practical learning on software that makes one industry-ready is missing in many of the courses.
Other: I wanted to make cars since my childhood, so taking up mechanical engineering was a natural choice. Some of the best things are the mini projects assigned in courses that let us gain practical experience along with theoretical learning. The college should make necessary software like Ansys, Catia, and SolidWorks compulsory for learning and teach them in lab sessions. There are over a dozen clubs, both technical and non-technical, with 5 to 6 events happening every week on the college campus.

With an excellent track record of placement and internships, SPCE ensures that students are well-prepared for competitive job markets, making it a preferred choice for aspiring engineers.
Infrastructure: Sardar Patel College of Engineering (SPCE) offers modern infrastructure with spacious classrooms, well-equipped labs, a large library, and advanced computer labs. Wi-Fi connectivity ensures easy access to online resources. The college provides separate hostels for boys and girls, with well-furnished rooms, 24/7 water and electricity supply, and common areas for recreation. A cafeteria serves hygienic meals. The campus also provides transportation for students living off-campus. Overall, SPCE's infrastructure supports academic, practical, and extracurricular needs while offering comfortable hostel facilities for outstation students.

B.Tech. in Civil Engineering - Batch of 2026

The Sardar Patel College of Engineering is one of the best institute in Mumbai.
Placements: The placements are pretty average. The highest package every year is around 10-15 LPA, and the average is 4-5 LPA for the Civil, Electrical, and Mechanical branches. Each year, many top companies visit the college, for example, L&T, Mahanagar, and many more.
Infrastructure: The hostel facilities are pretty good, as all the rooms are well maintained, and the cleanliness is also well maintained. The mess quality is below average, but there are some other canteens on the campus that provide good meals, so whenever you like having one, you can go there. Additionally, there is an AC in the hostel study room with a good Wi-Fi network.
Faculty: All the faculty members are highly educated, but some don't know the actual way of teaching; they just keep scrolling through the PPTs. Each year, the 2nd, 3rd, and final year students are taken for industry visits, and even freshers can go for the visit. It’s quite interesting, as you get to learn with all the fun along the way.
Other: The campus has every aspect a student could want. It has its own lake, a Shiva Mandir, and is full of green trees around. Even the crowd is quite good.

Great college of my times.
Placements: The college has a good placement record and the college provides a good return on investment. The college has a 100% placement record. The placement cell not only attracts market leaders for placement drives but also helps and guides us during the placement drive at the college. The highest package for our batch was around 26 LPA and the average package went up to 15 LPA. Google, Arista Network, TCS Research, McKinsey, Honeywell, Texas Instruments, Microsoft, etc. are the companies that participated in the college placement drive. Around 75+ companies took part in the college placement drive.
Infrastructure: The hostel facility is decent, not fancy. It's a government hostel. It is 400 miles away from the college building. The mess food is decent too. It's near the hostel accommodation. The hostel has limited seats for each branch and each year and is allocated on the basis of merit and caste quota. The college has a library with well-stocked books in it. The college also provides Wi-Fi facilities for students as well as faculty members.
Faculty: We have a very experienced faculty teaching various subjects. Obviously, there is a mix in the teaching of different faculty members. Some are good at teaching, and some are not that good. A maximum number of teachers have good industry experience and urge students to write papers. When there is a need, they will help with projects undertaken by students as well.
Other: Many fests are occurring in the winter season. Generally, there are fests of diverse cultural and technical backgrounds. SPINX, PRARAMBH, and SPACE are some cultural fests. SPICON is a fest of technical background,. The books availability is very good; it can be borrowed from the library with the use of an Identity card. The social life of college is somewhat wayward, but it comes to me as an average above par for an Engineering college.

It's a good college for M.Tech and B.Tech.
Placements: The report for the placement campus got 71 companies. The package for this college is 21LPA for the civil branch and other branches as well. Every student is offered based on their marks, backlogs, and their own credits. Personal development is good.
Infrastructure: Now the infrastructure is well-updated; each Wi-Fi has good speed, and every single room is cleaned regularly. The area is always kept clean for a healthy environment. As for the hostel, its food tastes good, and the labs are also updated with proper stuff.
Faculty: The qualifications of the teachers and staff are good, and there are always extra classes for all students. For those students who fail in subjects, they are taught tricks to help them pass the exams. Additionally, they teach 3D modeling stuff and projects.

B.Tech. in Civil Engineering - Batch of 2022

Satisfied with all the things I had experienced so far.
Placements: Almost 60% of the students in our batch successfully secured job placements. The remaining few students who were not eligible to participate in the placement process did not secure jobs due to the requirements set by the companies, but they also had opportunities to get internships at big companies. There is a great selection of companies offering placements set by the placement coordinator. There are companies that offer packages of INR 8.5 LPA, and there are a lot of other big companies that also offer good packages.
Infrastructure: There are a lot of things that need renovation and updating in the infrastructure. Though the course offered is not bad compared to other colleges, and the hostel facility is also good based on what my classmates have gone through during their stay in the hostel. And I will recommend students join the hostel if seats are available.
Faculty: The faculty members are highly educated professors, and I really like the way they teach at the college. The exam patterns are quite different from other colleges, and it's quite difficult to get through the exams and tests if you missed out on the lectures. So, it's very important not to miss the lectures.
Other: I had a very great time with all the friends and people out there at the college. Even the college faculty members were all very kind, and the people out there were busy on their own, so there is no one who judges you for what you are doing. If you are looking for an autonomous government-aided college in Mumbai for an engineering course, I recommend you get into this college.
