Overall, the college experience is the best.
Placements: The placement percentage is typically high, with computer science and IT branches having nearly 90-100% placements, while other branches also have strong placement records. The highest package can go above 40-50 LPA (mainly for CS/IT students in product-based companies). The lowest package varies but is usually around 3-4 LPA. The average package is generally in the range of 8-12 LPA for CS/IT. Around 5-8 LPA for other branches. Top recruiting tech giants are Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Atlassian, Adobe, Oracle, etc. Finance & consulting are J. P. Morgan, Goldman Sachs, Deloitte, Morgan Stanley, etc. Product & startups are Uber, Zomato, Paytm, CRED, and Razorpay.
Infrastructure: The department facilities at SPIT offer modern infrastructure for students, ensuring a good learning environment. Some of the key facilities include: Classrooms are well-equipped with projectors, comfortable seating, and air conditioning. Labs have high-end computers and the latest software/tools for programming, AI/ML, networking, and hardware experiments. Wi-Fi provides high speed. The campus is wide with internet access. There is a well-stocked library with academic books, research papers, and digital access to journals. There is a dedicated space for AI, cybersecurity, and IoT research. We have clean and spacious, usually shared (double/triple occupancy) rooms. Indoor and outdoor sports like badminton, football, basketball, and gym facilities are there.
Faculty: Professors are highly qualified (many with PhDs), experienced, and supportive. Most faculty members are approachable and help students with projects, research, and industry guidance. The teaching quality is generally good, with a mix of theory and practical learning. Some faculty members focus on research-oriented teaching, while others emphasize industry applications.
Other: Strong placement record with top recruiters. Industry-relevant curriculum with research and project opportunities. Exposure to coding competitions, hackathons, and real-world applications. Well-connected alumni network in top tech companies. The best things about the course focus on practical learning through projects, internships, and coding competitions. Availability of high-quality faculty and modern lab facilities. Opportunities to work on cutting-edge technologies like AI/ML, cybersecurity, and IoT. Areas for improvement are more elective choices to cater to different industry trends. Increased industry collaborations for real-world exposure. The better faculty-to-student ratio for personalized attention. SPIRIT is a technical fest. We have hackathons, coding contests, and project showcases. Sports events like cricket, football, chess, badminton tournaments, and more are held.

Amazing college life at Sardar Patel Institute of Technology (SPIT).
Placements: Almost 100% of the students attending for placements get placed. This year, the highest package offered by PhonePe is 33.3 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 15.03 LPA. Top recruiting companies that visit our college for placements are Oracle, Work India, JPMC, KPMG, MSCI, HDFC Bank, Barclays, and PhonePe. Students are offered internships in their 3rd year, both industrial and research internships. Companies like Barclays and some start-ups hire students and also offer them PPOs. Students do research internships at institutes like IITs.
Infrastructure: SPIT currently does not have hostels, but construction is going on. The infrastructure of classrooms is nice, but the infrastructure of labs, corridors, and the library can be improved. There is Wi-Fi available for each classroom and lab room. All the rooms are air-conditioned and well-ventilated. There is a canteen in our college, which provides good food at affordable rates. The mess in our college provides good food too. There is a gymkhana which has space for dance practices or other miscellaneous activities along with a gym.
Faculty: Teachers at SPIT are quite helpful and qualified. They are PhD holders and masters from top institutes like IITs. The teaching quality varies from teacher to teacher, from average to good to very good. The course curriculum is relevant. It teaches us the basics of requirements needed for industry. Along with the course material and self-study, students can become industry-ready. Semester exams are moderately difficulty as questions come from the syllabus only. Most students pass the exams, around 95% is the pass percentage.
Other: I chose this course of CSE since I wanted to pursue this course only and my interests align with it. The best thing about the course is that there are subjects which will help us out in the future. It also has some courses like extracurricular courses and communication skills courses to improve our soft skills and to balance out the hard subjects in the course and help us refresh. The annual college fest named Oculus is held in March, it is a 3-day fest with 2 pronites and 1 day of inter-branch competitions. The college crowd is smart, creative, and helpful.

Good placements, good infrastructure, excellent college crowd (seniors and faculty). .
Placements: Around 80 to 95% of students are placed in the Electronics and Telecommunication branch at SPIT. The highest package went to around 61 LPA, and the lowest package is around 5 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Accenture, Amdocs, and Barclays. The internship acceptance rate is around 10-12%.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure available for the course are pretty good, and cleanliness is well maintained throughout the college. The college does not provide a hostel, but the quality of food in the mess and canteen is good, and the taste is fine.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and cooperative, except for some teachers, who are not sure about their knowledge in their respective subjects. The course curriculum is relevant, providing students with the knowledge and experience needed. The difficulty of exams is good.
Other: Excellent technical college. The events in the college are great.

I am satisfied with facilities and placement ratio.
Placements: 85-90% of students are placed. The highest package is 1.1 CR, and the lowest is around 5-6 LPA. Top recruiting companies which visit SPIT are Oracle, PhonePe, etc. Around 70-80% go for internships at Microsoft, Oracle, etc. Top roles such as software developer are offered.
Infrastructure: The college provides pretty good facilities and infrastructure. Wi-Fi facility is available in required places. Labs, classrooms, and the library are maintained as per the requirements of students. There is no hostel right now, but the food quality is good. Sports are not focused much.
Faculty: Teachers are supportive, qualified, and knowledgeable. This curriculum is relevant to make students industry-ready. The difficulty level is moderate for a few subjects and tough for a few as per students. 97-98% of students pass. The curriculum is very helpful.
Other: I have an interest in coding, and I also receive a good percentile. A good thing about the course is that we can settle our future as software engineers and work in our dream companies. Events and fests also happen on a large scale.

Focus on in-demand skills, projects, internships, soft skills, and networking for career growth.
Placements: The average package has been dropped, and this year (2025), it has dropped again as compared to the previous year. My seniors also told that you can't be dependent on the college; you have to work on your skills because there's a lot of competition in the market as well.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is decent, and there's no hostel for spite students. The hostel is only for their MBA program students (SPJIMR) and for (SPACE) students. The entire campus has a lot of space, and it’s a very huge campus. There's a lake inside the college, 2-3 grounds, and many things.
Faculty: The faculty here are nice; some are very strict and some are very chill, so yes, they are good. They also help a lot, and the exams here are moderate to a bit harder, but yes, compared to other autonomous colleges, they are not very difficult, and they can be managed.
Other: The college is good, but you can't be dependent on the college. You have to work on yourself by learning new skills because the average package of the college has been decreasing from previous years, and this year it has decreased again. Many EXTC students are unplaced, so work on your skills.
