Overall satisfied by NSHM.

Placements: I was in the 2020-2024 batch. In our 4th year, which requires a whole one-year internship, was completely managed by our college placement department. Every student got an internship through the college. Companies like Sushrut, Lenskart, Himalaya, and Zeiss participated in the campus placements.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure includes well-equipped labs, comfortable classrooms, and a library with plenty of books (I didn't need to buy any). Wi-Fi is available, and there is a canteen on campus. There are basketball and volleyball grounds for practice, and the campus is well-decorated with plants.

Faculty: Faculty members were helpful and friendly, assisting students with different study materials. Internal exams are marked properly by the college faculty members. There is also a clinic for practice, and exams are well-organized with pre-informed emails.

Other: Optometry has many opportunities in the medical, retail, and corporate fields, so personal research is mandatory. NSHM hosts its own optometry conference every year and has many fests and extracurricular clubs that students can join.

The college has a good infrastructure.

Placements: Almost 75% of the students get placed in our college. The lowest salary offered is about Rs. 15,000-17,000 per month. The top recruiting company is Lenskart. The college helps in campusing. The highest salary package offered is 8-10 LPA. The students do their internship in their own choice, and also they have to write the exam.

Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is good. There are classrooms with projectors. There are good labs. The hostel food is not good. There are also medical facilities in the college. In hostel freshers party is arranged.

Faculty: Teachers here are helpful. There are particular communication class for future development. The college makes ready their students for an interview with communication and convention skills. Teachers here are always helpful to their students.

Other: I choose this course because I want to be an optometrist. In this course, everyone keeps the clinic. I want to get an OD degree. There are two fest login and Ycomm, which conducted in our college. The college provides scholarships to students.

Review of NSHM Knowledge Campus, Kolkata.

Placements: Placements in our college are good. But you've to keep yourself along with extra skills. Companies like Crizal and fastrack, etc., visited our campus for placement drives. They offered various placements in the medical field, hospitals and various companies.

Infrastructure: Faculty members here are good. Classrooms are good. The library doesn't have sufficient books for optometry, but with the guidance of faculty members, you can excel. Our college organises a lot of extracurricular activities like different seminars for students. The food served in the canteen is not that good.

Faculty: Faculty members here are helpful. The college has a lot of highly qualified faculty members. Teaching quality is good. Faculty members use projectors for teaching. They are helpful and like to co-operate with students in various fields.

Our college provides good plcements in Kolkata.

Placements: Placements in our college are good for students who are good at studies. Around 50-60% of the students are placed in bachelor of optometry. Placements mainly depend on students. This college is very good placements.

Infrastructure: Our college provides many facilities for students. Good quality of food is served in the college canteen and they also provide medical facilities. Sports and games are conducted. We also have a library with high knowledge of books and study materials. Orr college provides many facilities to us.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are very good and helpful. All the teachers are post-graduates in their respective fields. Teaching quality is also good. It mainly depends upon students to score marks and get a good percent in their college.

Other: I chose this course because it has excellent career opportunities.
