It is regrettable to take admission in JIS University.
Placements: JIS University is not good for placements in medical laboratory technology because it is not registered under West Bengal Health University, which is essential for getting hands-on training in a hospital, which JIS University doesn't provide during the course. Faculty members don't have enough practical knowledge about the lab technology subject, so if we want a good career and placement, then we should give the Jenpas UG exam and study BMLT from any government college or private college under WBHUS. After passing out, we are getting scolded in our internships in the government hospital, which the college also doesn't provide. We ourselves tried and got the chance to do an internship in the hospital.
Infrastructure: It claims that it has Wi-Fi and classrooms. It will not provide students with Wi-Fi in reality. Laboratories do not have essential equipment, which is required for learning technology and practicals. Studying at JIS in the BMLT course is totally worthless. But the hostel is okay to stay in, and seniors are also friendly to enjoy college life. JIS is the best option, but not for a career.
Faculty: Some teachers are really good and knowledgeable. They will help us a lot to gain knowledge, but only theoretical knowledge will not help us get a good job. Only good teachers will not help, so please give the entrance exam to get admission in paramedical courses. The course curriculum is relevant, but it will not make us industry-ready due to the lack of facilities in laboratories. Semester exams are not difficult if we follow the professor's lectures properly, and then getting 80% is easy. In practical courses, what matters is skills, and JIS will not be able to develop skills.
Other: I suggest students do not take admission at JIS University due to a lack of equipment in labs, so I suggest students go for Jenpas UG.

Jis University's infrastructure is very good. You can take admission here.
Placements: Jis University has average placements. More or less than 40% students have been placed in private and government jobs. Our college provides internships too. BMLT is a hospital oriented course. Many students have done their internships from different hospitals.
Infrastructure: JIS University is very good. It has a good infrastructure. The faculty members are well qualified. They are really helpful to the students. The labs and classrooms are well maintained. But Wi-Fi of our college is very slow. All things considered, the college is average.
Faculty: Our department’s teacherare are well qualified and helpful. They are very friendly. They provide us many types of notes and material.

Our college is very good with very helpful faculty members.
Placements: Many deserving candidates got placed in good companies. The salary package offered varies between 3 LPA and 5 LPA. Some students received more than 1 offer. All students opted to go for internships that they received from our college. Marketing manager, store manager, sales manager, financial manager, etc., were some job roles in which students got placed.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities provided in our college were good. Hostel life was very good. Hostel food was served in the college canteen which was like homemade food.
Faculty: Many faculty members were very approachable, friendly, and always available. They helped students in any situation. Teachers groomed students to prepare them for job interviews using their experiences.
Other: I chose this course because of my passion for this field. I loved the course curriculum. Our campus was beautiful. Extracurricular activities were organised every month.
