Yes, UPES School of Design is a good college for BDes programme has state-of-the-art infrastructure which is capable of supporting technology-enabled learning. There is an AR/VR lab, Mac lab, film and media lab, 3D printing, and others. UPES School of Design has a partnership with the IED (The Istituto Europeo di Design), Italy. It is a full-time member of the Cumulus Association and World Design Organisation (WDO). BDes is the flagship course of UPES School of Design as students will go through a step-by-step learning experience so as to develop a comprehensive and complete understanding of interior design. To get admission to BDes, candidates must have atleast 50% aggregate in Class 12. The accepted entrance exams are JEE Main, CUET, NIFT Entrance Exam, NID Entrance Exam, UCEED, UPES DAT, and others. Hence, candidates must have relevant scores in the accepted entrance exams. There must be 50% marks in Class 10 as well. The selection will be based on the Portfolio Presentation and Interview round.
BDes programme is offered in nine specialisations, which include Industrial & Product, Game, Fashion, Interaction Design, Animation & VFX Design, Transportation & Mobility, Life Style & Accessory and Graphic.
To be eligible for admission to the Bachelor of Design (B.Des) course at UPES, candidates need a minimum of 50% marks in Classes X and XII in any stream.
