Review of Shadan College of Engineering and Technology.
Placements: The college doesn't offer placements. No companies approached this college. Due to the average faculty members, students couldn't gain good knowledge. We heard from our seniors that some companies visited the college earlier, but no company appears now.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the building is good, but it's an old building and has to be renovated. Designing is amazing. Civil engineers can get very good ideas by seeing this infrastructure and buildings. During my tenure, some safety equipment was provided in our college. No Wi-Fi is available on the campus.
Faculty: The faculty have to be improved a lot in teaching. Good faculty members with very good experience in all standards are to be recruited. A new HOD is appointed every year which makes it difficult for the students to interact with the new one every year.
Other: No grounds were available and so no events or sports were conducted.

Very dissatisfied because of infrastructure and no events or fests.
Placements: Till 2017, there were no placements at all. By the end of 2017, HOD's of some branches changed, so they thought of bringing placements in our college, and now only eight members were selected six are from mechanical, and two are from civil. Mechanical students got a job in Hyundai offshore company. Civil students got a job in the interior designing company. The salary for mechanical students is 1.68 LPA, and 1.44 LPA is for civil students. There is a placement cell in our college. It has a placement officer. They are trying the best to bring placements in our college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not good. It was built in 1998 till now there is no changes or renovation done. They didn't even paint the building till now. There is Wi-Fi provided by Jio only for staff and only 20 MB for students. The classrooms are also not good. The labs are also not well-maintained. Labs don't have some equipment or machines. The library is somewhat good. We get books what we want but not of the new syllabus. The medical facilities are provided in Shadan hospital which is present in our college boundary for free of cost. We don't get food or meals in our canteen. We only get chips packet and cool drinks.
Faculty: 70% of the faculty is qualified and knowledgeable. Some teachers are good at teaching, and some are not eligible for teaching. The ratio of students to faculty is 1:50. The course curriculum was useful. Some faculty members are unable to teach properly. Some faculty members teach using laptops or tabs because there are no projectors in any of the classrooms.
Other: In a whole academic year, we have only one sports event known as Blitz. Other than that we don't have any fests or events. The campus crowd will always be less as no one comes daily. There is no scholarship provided by our college.

Candidate must have scored minimum mentioned marks in the subjects specified (PCM) taken together at 10+2 pattern. (40% marks for candidates belongs reserved Category in the subjects specified (PCM) taken together at 10+2 pattern). Appearing candidates for the final year of Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) with same above subjects, are also eligible.
