It has exhausting campus life, but heavenly good if there's someone's support in life.
Placements: Placements in Shaheed Bhagat Singh College are satisfactory for students studying commerce courses like B.Com Programme and B.Com honours. Companies like Deloitte, Zomato, etc., visit the campus. It is decent for B.A. Economics honours and below average for other courses
Infrastructure: There is no hostel facility available in the college for either our B.A. History honours courses nor for any other courses. Hostels are available in very few DU colleges, and SBSC is not one of them. It is available only for staff. The infrastructure is good for our course, but some places are outdated. Canteen food is sometimes available with a few items, but they are good. Medical facilities are provided. A sports ground and an indoor sports room are available.
Faculty: Faculty members of our course are good. They are well qualified, and many of them have done Ph.Ds. They come from a good educational background and are highly knowledgeable. The quality of teaching is good. But the course curriculum is sometimes exhausting but good. Semester exams are super easy.

Exploring college life and academics.
Placements: As a first-year student pursuing History Hons from Shaheed Bhagat Singh College, I am still exploring the different career opportunities after graduation. One major advantage after doing graduation from History Hons is that you can work in research, archaeology, and NGOs. But the major challenge is that there may be fewer direct investment.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of our college is very good. Our classrooms are very spacious and have smartboards with Wi-Fi connectivity and AC facilities. But these types of classrooms are only available in C block. Other block classrooms are ordinary. I am rating the infrastructure with 4 stars because the infrastructure of our college is very nice, but they don't have a hostel, which creates a major problem for students.
Faculty: Faculty members for our course are excellent. They explain the topics clearly to make it easier for students to understand. I am not familiar with the examination pattern because I am a fresher, but regular guidance from teachers helps me to understand everything. They are all well-experienced and well-trained.
Other: The only thing I didn't like about this college is that their sports ground is under construction. This is the biggest hindrance for a sportsperson. Secondly is the online class concept is too frustrating for a morning student because sometimes your online classes are conducted during evening time also, i.e., even after attending offline classes.

SBSC has one of the best campus, faculty members and crowd.
Placements: As I belong to B.A. Hons. History, we don't usually get direct placement with a B.A. degree. We have to further enhance our portfolio. But as far as concerned about the fact for placement with a direct B.A. degree it's quite hard to grasp, but if you are going excellent, you may get.
Infrastructure: About infrastructure, SBSC quite lags behind in its atmosphere. Other than that, I have to admit that we have one of the best libraries and reading halls. There are smart classes where almost 99% of our classes are held and have AC compilations as well.
Faculty: History Hons has got one of the best faculties in SBSC. Faculty members are very interactive, communicate, and help students. I would say SBSC has one of the best faculties in other departments as well, as I have many friends in other departments and they usually admire them.
Other: I want to do CSE, so I thought History Hons could be the most preferable option. The best thing about my course is History Hons, and it is a very scientific discipline. So we do not usually just assume things, we even prove them. For improvement, I would say more relevant reading and direct reading should be done. We have to read multiple books just for a unit, which is quite hectic. I don't have any experience of fest and all.

Placements: 25.7% of students are placed in this college. 23 LPA is the highest salary package offered, and the average package is around 5-6 LPA. 3-4 LPA is the lowest salary package offered. Deloitte, KPMG, PwC, EY, and D. E. Shaw are the top recruiters. Many students get internships in finance and consulting firms. Analyst, audit, consulting, and sales are the top roles offered.
Infrastructure: The campus is clean. We have decent classrooms, with projectors in most of the rooms. Wi-Fi is available but can be slow at times. The library is good and has a lot of books and quiet reading space. The computer lab works fine for practicals. The canteen has affordable food, though the variety is limited.
Faculty: Most of our teachers are qualified. They are helpful to students. They explain concepts clearly. But the teaching quality varies by subject. The course curriculum is relevant. It provides a good base. But students need extra skills to be industry-ready. Semester exams are moderately difficult. Students can score well if they study regularly. The pass percentage is high.
Other: I chose this course because of the good college reputation and DU's value for money. The best things are the friendly teachers, a supportive environment, and good placement opportunities for a DU college. I wish that the Wi-Fi and practical exposure were better. The college has active societies, fests, and events.

SBSC just needs to fix placements as rest all things are fixed here!
Placements: Realistically, it could have been much better, as many top companies do come to our college but with a very low salary being offered. So, the placements cell, before bringing those companies think should set some criteria. McKinsey, KPMG, and many of these companies, along with Indian banks and finance companies, have been the biggest recruiters at SBSC.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is quite good but most of the time Wi-Fi don't work. They show no internet access. Library is excellent as it provides mostly all the books of the course and several books of competitive exams like SSC, CAT, and other exams. There is no hostel facility in the college, and students have to reside mainly in PGs in the Sheikh Sarai and Chirag Delhi area. The quality of food available in the canteen is quite good, as there is a change in staff. Medical facilities are also good, but there is a lack of sports facilities.
Faculty: For experience, teachers might be 11 out of 10, but some of them just come and teach from textbooks and leave. So, teaching here is mostly from books, while some faculty members, even though they are of electives subjects, are teaching in a very engaging way. So, most faculty members are good, but some are not so too.
Other: The fest of B.Com department of our college is as good as the annual fest Kalakriti.

SBSC has very impressive infrastructure!
Placements: Placements in our college are not so impressive. Placements in our college are below average. Students with low CGPA are not even given a fair chance. That is why internships and all become very handy. For internships, we also have to be independent, as the college hardly provides any.
Infrastructure: We definitely have one of the biggest campuses of DU, and with a lot of new blocks being set up, it will be one to watch out for. I may have been critical about placements, but for infrastructure I have nothing to complain about. The current facilities are good, but once added to with a new IT, it will be unbeatable in terms of infrastructure.
Faculty: Faculty members are unbeatable, as our B.Com faculty members are both skilled and hugely experienced. All traits of accounting are taught by them in the easiest ways. I am happy to study from them. Each student in our class is a master in accounts.
Other: The campus crowd is good, if not the best. But only if placements are uplifted here, SBSC will start ranking much higher.
