It is a perfect blend of academics and campus life.
Placements: Placements begin in the 2nd year with Big 15s, startups, mid-sized, and service firms. It has smooth process, varied profiles in finance, analysis, auditing, and sales specialists. The highest package is 25 LPA, average is 5 LPA, and medium is 13 LPA - 15 LPA. Same firms also offer internships, 6+ CGPA needed.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of this college is good. The library, labs, seminar rooms, and auditorium are well-maintained with ACs. The classrooms are spacious, some with projectors and screens. Wi-Fi is available. The canteen food is hygienic and tasty. Hostels are available nearby at reasonable prices.
Faculty: Faculty members at SBSC are professional and approachable with a balanced ratio. Course has 6-7 subjects per semester, 160 marks for each subject. Exams are moderate, failures are rare. Curriculum is relevant, preparing students academically and professionally. This course definitely makes the students industry-ready.
Other: I chose B.Com. hons here for its finance focus, practical classes, and active societies. Seniors guide well, curriculum is career-oriented, and exams are timely, comfortable, and manageable in difficult. College fests and society fests are held in April-May. Library offers a wide books/journals. Classrooms are well-equipped. Sports and extracurricular activities are vibrant. Active clubs and groups enrich students' life with opportunities and exposure.

Shaheed Bhagat Singh College: A true gem.
Placements: Shaheed Bhagat Singh has the second largest commerce department in Delhi University for B.Com Honors others are 8 sections, continuing 60 students each (avg). In 2025, the highest package is 23 LPA, the lowest is around 3 LPA, and the average is around 5.5 LPA. The recruiting companies are Deloitte, D.E. Shaw, Zomato, EY, ISSC, KPMG, PWC, Accenture, etc. Around 15% to 20% of students got internships. The Top role offered in 2025 is an associate at D. E Shaw.
Infrastructure: Bhagat Singh has good infrastructure, it has its Gyan Prasar Kendra, counseling unit, medical facilities, security, AC library, girls' common room with AC, sports facility, canteen, and cafeteria section. There is one open-air auditorium, conference, and seminar rooms. They have ACs in block C classrooms, advanced computer labs, and Wi-Fi facility. The food in the canteen is so affordable and delicious. Also, the sports complex is under construction, and it will open soon.
Faculty: The faculty is so great, they are very helpful, qualified, and have great experience and knowledge. Also, their teaching style is appreciable, they know what the relevant things are to study with practical examples. The course curriculum is relevant, but there is a lack of practical exposure. A student can only be industry-ready when they have both practical and theoretical knowledge. The semester exams are not too tough if you study well, as the pass percentage is around 90%-95%.
Other: I chose this college because I want to do B.Com Honors, and after SRCC Bhagat Singh College is the largest department of commerce, and it is near my home. I wish to improve one thing, which is that the the university should focus on practical exposure and experience. Events in Bhagat Singh are not wild this year. Shadhu band performs in the annual event, the campus crowd is good and has good connectivity, and this college offers scholarship and internship programs for the students.

It has supportive faculty, an improving infrastructure, and decent placements.
Placements: I am currently in my final year of B.Com (Hons) at Shaheed Bhagat Singh College. The placement experience so far has been quite encouraging. Around 70-80% of students from my course got placed with the highest package of 20 LPA. The lowest package ranges from 6-7 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course include Deloitte, EY, ICICI Bank, and various startups. Roles like audit, financial analysis, taxation, and research are offered here.
Infrastructure: I have seen the infrastructure getting better every year. Our classrooms are quite decent with smart screens, but only in a few blocks, a good library with Wi-Fi, and computer labs. The college doesn't have a hostel, and many students stay in PGs. The canteen serves decent food at reasonable prices. There is a mini cafe outlet that is popular among college students. Basic medical facilities are available, but the ground is under construction. However, we can access it.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and engaging. As usual, some faculty and staff members are very rude towards students, which is quite manageable. Teachers are well-qualified and humble. The course curriculum is quite backward, and I feel like it can be improved. Exams are not hard, and we can prepare for them 2-3 days before exams. It is good for people who want to pursue any professional course along with a degree.
Other: I feel that they can work on events and fests as they are lagging very much in this. It can be improved. If students join this college for campus life and for any fests and events, DU life, then I would suggest that we should think about it twice before coming here. We have a promising experience at SBSC.

Everything is fantastic, and we will enjoy it for sure.
Placements: Shaheed Bhagat Singh College offers fair placement opportunities, especially for students in B.Com (Hons) and Economics (Hons) who are proactive. While not on par with SRCC or Hindu, it still has solid exposure in finance, consulting, and startups. Our resume, internships, and communication skills will be the deciding factors for good roles.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available in the library and the admin block. Library facilities are available till 12 PM. Classrooms are very nice. Many things are developing right now. Digital classrooms are available, and YouTube channel of the college is going on. There is no harassment and no bullying. We totally feel safe and secure there.
Faculty: B.Com (Hons) at Shaheed Bhagat Singh College (DU) offers a well-structured course curriculum with strong faculty support, especially in commerce and accounting subjects. The course follows the CBCS pattern with core subjects like financial accounting, corporate law, taxation, and management. Exams are conducted semester-wise with internal assessment and final university exams. Faculty members are experienced and student-friendly, promoting academic and co-curricular growth. Faculty members are very nice.
Other: Societies like the finance and investment cell and the commerce association provide practical exposure. Overall, SBSC offers a balanced academic environment with good placements, especially for proactive students who engage in internships and skill-based learning throughout the course.

Placements: Students pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce get placed with the highest package of 25 LPA, and the lowest package is 5 LPA. Almost 60% of students get placed in placements. Top recruiting companies for our course are Amazon, Flipkart, Google, etc. Roles offered are financial analyst, CA, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is well-developed and planned. Classrooms are air-conditioned. The building is fully covered with Wi-Fi. The college has libraries for each department. Labs are fully computerised and fully in Wi-Fi range. The college has good-quality food in the canteen.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and experienced. In the course curriculum, there are semester and sessional exams. The college provides facilities for industrial visits. Semester exams are average, and the passing criteria are 40%.
Other: I chose this course because I want to develop financial skills and improve communication skills. The campus organises a fest twice a year.
