Underrated college in South Campus.
Placements: As I have not placed till now, the placements are very good enough. Many famous companies visit, and from my side, as I have heard, for B.A., the package is very low, but B.Com receives very good packages and placements. Many famous companies like HCL, Amazon, Flipkart, etc., visit Shaheed Bhagat Singh. Internships are available from the 2nd year onwards.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good enough, and if we talk about the hostels, hostels are not provided in every college of DU. Some colleges have hostels, but the hostels are not good enough. Food quality is really very good, the mess and canteen are very good, neat, and clean, and the sports ground is also big.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable. The quality of teachers is good. This course is very good enough for art students; basically, it’s very good. Semester exams are totally dependent on the PYQ. The same questions come in the PYQ. Passing marks for every paper differ as per the total marks.
Other: The fests also take place, the crowd is good enough, and connectivity is also like the metro station available. Scholarships are also provided as per the criteria, and activities of sports happen.

Satisfied with the college, there was an opportunity to do lots of things.
Placements: As I am not from a commerce background, and am a humanities student, there were not that many placement opportunities for our course. But, yes, there were some placements in humanities in a limited number. However, there were mainly placement opportunities available in B.Com, Economics, and other courses that have higher placement opportunities.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure was average, but, yes, there was rapid growth/construction on the campus. Measures were taken by the administration to improve infrastructure, which is impressive. Yes, there were still lots of sectors for improvement. The library was under renovation, and the playground was also under renovation. It's going to be completed in a few months.
Faculty: The curriculum is good, not bad—kind of average. However, it was designed for better delivery of education to students and personality development. As for the faculty, it varies depending on who teaches. Some professors give their best to clear doubts, while some are just teaching in their ways from the 1990s. So, it varies.
Other: As this is a government institution [central university], funded directly by the central government, the fees were low compared to private universities. Due to its location in Delhi (the capital), it provides lots of opportunities. The crowd and campus are good. Yes, you will find stone smokers & drinkers as well outside the campus, but yes, there was strict prohibition, so you may find such people or students outside the campus, but not inside the campus.

SBSC: A unique college offering challenges and opportunities.
Placements: Shaheed Bhagat Singh College is mostly a commerce centric college. The placements vary but generally only commerce students get placed. We do have a placements cell but the jobs offered to non-commerce students, especially Humanities students are very mediocre at best and range only about 3 LPA-6 LPA at most.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure-wise, the college is great and Principal Proof. We have smart boards installed in the classes, seminar hall styled classrooms, new entire floors dedicated to teaching and library, etc.
Faculty: Faculty-wise, we recently had permanent interviews for all the departments. Hence, all the faculty members are mostly new and top-notch in the University. The curriculum is obviously the best what DU offers for the course. The exams are conducted in a smooth fashion with timely updates on our college portals and website.
Other: I chose B.A. History Hons. as my course mainly due to my interest in the discipline and the fact that it would help me in my preparation for civil services. The college provided me an excellent space to develop my studies in the field with equal range of co-curricular activities. The student aid found/scholarships are provided to the needy students. Events are also frequently happening on-campus which add to the college life. Overall, the campus crowd is great and adds to the overall experience as an undergraduate student studying in DU.

Good infrastructure, disciplined environment and good faculty members.
Placements: College provides very few placements to the students of History honours while majority of the placements are for commerce students. Largely the students prepare for civil services exams or go for higher studies. Very few students get placements while college provides a good number of internships programs which are paid.
Infrastructure: College has a very vast infrastructure with a large ground and garden in the campus. College has Wi-Fi accessibility across the campus. College is fairly active in sports and participates in various sports competitions. The college has a reasonable priced canteen facilities along with a good variety of menu being available.
Faculty: The curriculum is largely dependent on the textbooks. The teachers are very reputed and have done remarkable works in their respective fields. They carry years of experience which helps the students to discuss career options with them. The semester exams are not very hard to pass, students through a little hard work, can pass the semester exams.
Other: College has a very disciplined environment. It has numerous societies which provide extra curricular exposure to the students.

SBSC: The best college in campus with great faculty and the finest infrastructure.
Placements: About 80% of student were enrolled for this course. The highest package for this course is 2 Lacs rupees per month and the lowest is about 50 thousand rupees per month. The top recruiting company is infosys. About 60-70% student got internship from this college in big companies.
Infrastructure: Sbsc has one of the finest infrastructure having 6 blocks, big ground and large number of classes. The classrooms are equipped with smart boards, benches and finely ventilated. Library is equipped with AC's has abundance of course books and novels. The college don't provide hostel facilities.
Faculty: The faculty are highly qualified and are of friendly nature. Tier teaching methods varies some prefer to teach through presentations and some majorly focuses on practical part. The course curriculum is relevant upto an mark as it should also focus on doing things digitally too. The exams difficult level is moderate to hard .
Other: History honours is of the course for the students aiming to crack government exams. Other than this it also allow us to gain insights regarding our glorious past and struggle faced by people and how they have evolved through it. The course should more include historically background in the context of rather than more of global studies. The college provides internship opportunities which are paid and experience Certificate is also provided.

SBSC, that lies in south campus.
Placements: As I mentioned, I am from Shaheed Bhagat Singh College, Delhi University. My college is best known for commerce and business courses like B.Com. and B.Com. (Hons). My course history hons doesn't have any placement, so one needs to study further and prepare for competitive exams or teaching exams like Net. In commerce, it has shown the best results in placement drives over the past few years; the average CTC is INR 3-5 lacs per year, and the highest placement was INR 20.5 lacs. Around 50–60% of students were placed in the placement drive. The top recruiters were KPMG India, Ernst & Young, PWC India, and various other startups.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure for my course were good. Classrooms are nice, the library is very good and has a computer section. The whole area is fully air conditioned, and various newspapers, magazines, and foreign books are available to students. This college doesn't have a hostel, so students from outside have to rely on PGs. But the college has a canteen and cafeteria that serve the best quality food. The college has a big gym, a basketball coach, a tennis court, and an indoor games facility that is also very good.
Faculty: Faculties are good; although some teachers are somehow strict, but they are well qualified. Various teachers are authors of books that are used in exams and even in the civil service exams. The curriculum is fully relevant for one to be industry-ready. Various students have cracked placement drives simply by putting effort into classes and extracurricular activities. The semester exams are not difficult at all; Du College repeats the past year's questions in the exam. One can get good marks just by studying for 10 years one month prior to exams. The passing rate is 35% in both internal and semester exams. If one fails an internal exam, then he or she has scored approximately 40% in semester exams.
Other: I chose this subject (B.A. History Hons.) because of my personal priority for it. The best thing about this course is that it includes all dimensions of study, like political science in modern history, geography in understanding the history of the era or region, and other applied sciences. Things I would recommend for its improvement are the general deletion of big-rile assignments, which are unnecessarily there and one has to submit for the sake of marks without having basic knowledge of them. The events at SBSC are really good, and great speakers, singers, actors, and politicians have also arrived at the fest. The campus crowd in SBSC is more diverse than any other college in Delhi; students come from nearly every state of India, and even some foreign students are studying there. The connectivity is also good, as it has a Chirag Delhi metro station within walking distance and a bus stop at Sheikh Sarai nearly 80 metres away from the college. But traffic in rush hours is hectic at Sheikh Sarai, and a new metro line is being developed for greater connectivity.

Review of Shaheed Bhagat Singh College, University of Delhi.
Placements: Approximately 80% of students were placed. The average salary offered ranges between Rs 15,000 per month to Rs 30,000 per month. Samsung and LG were the top recruiting companies. Almost 70% of students got internships.
Infrastructure: This college provides 4 to 5 computer laboratories. Wi-Fi was also available, and the classroom environment was very good. Approximately 30 seats were there in our classroom. The food served in the canteen was good. All types of food were available in our canteen.
Faculty: In our college, the teachers were very good and humble. They treat students like friends.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in it. Events and fests were held. The crowd was good in this college.

Life at Shaheed Bhagat Singh, short and crispy.
Placements: A lot of students were in my course, more than 50 in each class and few students got internship in our field only in many archaeological companies, which have been very high paying and very beneficial for all of them as they are helping them gain more experience.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure at our college Available in my course and department are very good. We have different labs and libraries to research, big classrooms and a very big seminar rooms to conduct presentations and have some group projects.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful in our college, they even take extra classes to help students recover everything they have missed and put in extra efforts in the online classes to make sure we make the best out of our classes, they even assign us group and individual projects to keep our knowledge upto date.
