A decent college for commerce students.

Placements: SBSC has a positive reputation in the whole University for good placements. The highest package I've heard is 17 LPA. Top companies connect with students through the placement cell for recruitment. Alongside great internship opportunities come every month.

Infrastructure: This college has a great vibe like Delhi University. The infrastructure is new and quite pleasing. Not only studying, but sports, extracurricular, and library are available. The college has 1 canteen with reasonable pricing and food booths too.

Faculty: Faculty members are quite knowledgeable and polite. But the syllabus becomes havoc sometimes due to irrelevant SEC/VAC subjects. The semester exams are not so challenging, with a decent average score of CGPA. Overall a we have easy to moderate level of exams.

Really good infrastructure and great professors.

Placements: The average salary package offered ranges from 7 LPA to 9 LPA. Also, many companies come for job opportunities. The placement cell also helps us to get placements. The placement season is always very lively, as a lot of students get their dream companies like Deloitte, etc.

Infrastructure: We have Wi-Fi, and the infrastructure is good. Classrooms are well maintained. The canteen is also nice and very affordable. The crowd is very friendly and cool. Classrooms are air-conditioned, and the washrooms are always clean. There is a very big library for students.

Faculty: Faculty members are very nice. Professors are so knowledgeable and friendly. The course itself provides a lot of information, and there are always academic events helping students to learn more. The exam level is also very good, and the quality of the questions is very good.

Placements: In Political Science Hons, the placement rate is around 15% - 25%, as the majority of students pursue higher studies. According to recent data of NIRF, students of Shaheed Bhagat Singh College, especially arts background who pursue higher education, range from 55%-60% while others prefer competitive exams like civil services. The top 5 recruiting companies of the college are Deloitte, EY GDS, PwC India, Accenture, and D. E. Infrastructure: Along with the good infrastructure of the campus and the quality and variety of the mess's food, the classrooms are well structured and equipped with air conditioning, smart boards, and air ventilation is a plus point. Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified Ph.D. holders who know their subjects very well. They are actually very well-versed in teaching, with years of experience. Besides teaching, they are really good mentors too. Talking about the exam difficulty and course curriculum, it goes smoothly as teachers prepare students very well at all stages, making the student industry easy too, along with exams.

Other: Choosing Political Science Hons as B.A. course comes with a past interest along with plans for the future. This course specifically provides you with something that makes you think about your own daily life, from paying tax on small things to watching government employees working. You would start connecting dots and ask "why? ". It helps you question things that directly or directly affect daily life, which no one questions. Talks about what can be improved. With an increasing number of students and regular admissions, there is always a lack of resting areas, especially during fests and exams.

Pretty decent college, good campus life, and infrastructure.

Placements: I have done my graduation from Shaheed Bhagat Singh College. There were almost 150 students in my batch. As I am a student of political science, there were no placements in this subject. But in other courses, many of my friends were placed in good companies. Overall, the college provided good placements.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college was so good, like there were all the facilities, like labs, classrooms, and a very good and decent library. This college did not have its own hostel, as many colleges in the University of Delhi don’t have, but you will easily get PGs and flats nearby.

Faculty: Teachers were very good, a very good and decent staff. They were so helpful and knowledgeable. They helped us a lot. The examinations were tough, but you can pass easily if you studied the whole year properly. You require 33.33 marks to pass the exams, which were not that tough.

Other: I chose this course because I was interested in political science, and I am also preparing for UPSC. To be very honest, the campus life was so good. There were many events and festivals, and the college was overall so good.

Great college, infrastructure, teachers, cand campus experience, worth it.

Placements: In my course, there are around 70 students only, and thus there is only one class for all Political Science Honours students. Girls to boys ratio is not that good, there is a 75-25 boy-girl ratio in our course. However, there are also good placements through the placement cell of the college.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the college is great. Classrooms, which are very important for me, are good, spacious, and aerated. We have computer labs, smart boards, etc. Similarly, washrooms, canteen, etc. are well maintained. As compared to other colleges I have visited, I like the infrastructure of this college more.

Faculty: I will say the faculty of my course is pretty great. We could see them putting real efforts. Same goes for the curriculum too. However, it’s pretty wide, and we often find ourselves rushing through the course. The exam pattern is also good. However, I don’t like unnecessary exams for subjects like SEC, VAC, and AEC.

Other: Regarding areas of improvement, I will say that annual events within our college are pretty less as compared to other colleges, which I would like to see change.

Students can choose this college as it has good faculty and a good ambience.

Placements: My course does not offer any placements directly from any company, but it is available in B.Com (Hons). Most of my course includes examination preparation or preparation by professors. We can also be headed to a political analyst role. There are many opportunities in the government sector rather than the private. Students can have a passion for journalism through understanding the core of politics.

Infrastructure: Our college does not provide hostels, but the food in the canteen is fine.

Faculty: Faculty members are very friendly. Exams conducted are of a semester type. Many faculty members are PhD holders from many renowned institutions, like Jawaharlal Nehru University. If we study a decent amount, then 10 semester exams are not that hard. Department and faculty members are very supportive, and also students throughout the course, by developing them in skills like public speaking, pressure management, situation handling, etc.

Other: I chose this course because I wanted to pursue my career in the civil services. The crowd in the college is decent. The campus life is quite good, but the fest needs to be improved.

Placements: More than 90% of students got placed in my course. The highest package is something about 9 LPA, and the lowest is 3 LPA. There are many recruiting companies that are searching for political science students. 60% of students get internships in companies. Assistant manager is the role offered in this course.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. Wi-Fi, labs, and classrooms especially are very good. The food is very delicious and hygienic. There are many medical facilities as well. In this college, they prefer sports as well as studies. The hostel is very good.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. They are very intelligent and smart. They have a lot of knowledge and they are very good at teaching. They have a lot of experience in teaching. Semester exams are very hard. But if you are good at political science then you can easily pass.

Other: I chose this course because I have a lot of interest in politics. If students have an interest in this course then they will learn a lot about politics and they can learn how it works. Our college also organises events, fests, and extracurricular activities as well.

The education quality is very good, and faculty members are very understanding and helpful.

Placements: In the colleges of Delhi University, placement is provided for students. Different companies come for hiring, and pay scales differ according to the performance of the student in the interview and academic performance. The companies provide good packages around 6-10 Lacs per annum.

Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is improving, and new smart classrooms are also there with the facilities of good washrooms. The library is also large and good with AC so that students can concentrate nicely and study. The girls' common room is there for resting of the girls; there also AC is there.

Faculty: The education quality in the Delhi University colleges is very nice; the faculty members are also very helpful and make our concepts clear. This education is very important for our future and for competitive exams also, especially for UPSC. Political Science is a very important subject.

Other: The events that the society of students conducts are really joyful. We enjoy them very much, and in the cultural fest, we wear traditional dresses, which is a very joyful experience.
