The title of the review will be the site of Shaheed Rajguru College of Applied Sciences for Women.
Placements: Last year, the average package of the placement was 4 LPA. The highest packet was 10 LPA. Companies like EY and Delta visited the college for placements. There are some internships also for first and second-year students. In my course, 10 students got placements.
Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are available for both Indian and foreign students. The hstel has a capacity of 120 students. Students get the hostel facility only in the first year. There is a mess facility also in which the menu changes daily. Wi-Fi facilities are also available.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is super. They provide the essentials to students like study materials, PYQs, and notes regarding the subject and many things. The course curriculum is very relevant. They work on the basis of the DU curriculum. Semesters are not very difficult. It is the same for all students.
Other: I chose this course because as per my knowledge, the data science and data analysis domains are blooming right now. This is the best course for that. I think there can be more practical regarding our subject. Events, fests, the crowd, activities, campus surroundings, scholarships, and extracurricular activities are very interesting. They provide a lot of opportunities to all the people. There are so many societies which are doing very well like Enactus, SRCASW, TEDx, NSS, and many more. There are two major fests.

    Great college providing great exposure.
Placements: The placements here are not good like any other college for humanities and social science courses. However, some HR companies did come for placements in the college and 2 or 3 students even got hired, the companies were not that known or famous.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and ambience of the college is really good. The amenities are well furnished and new. The rooms are well ventilated. Library is fully air conditioned having a digital access. The ground, amphitheater and auditorium are also well maintained.
Faculty: The teachers are very friendly and approachable. They are helpful as well. The course curriculum is relevant and most of the elective courses and research papers are chosen on the basis of current trends which is really good. The semester exams are moderately difficult and the passing percentage is around 40%.
Other: Psychology Hons is one of the best and competitive courses of today and choosing this course and this college was one of the best decisions of my life. The best thing about this course is the research. I don't think there is anything that can be improved, they are providing everything which is required. Fest and events do happen but they may not be as popular and known as the other DU college fests. But the exposure is really good. The college is situated off campus but with right networking and clubs participation, you won’t feel that.

    Decent off-campus college for psychology.
Placements: Placements for psychology in my college are quite limited, as most students opt for a master's degree rather than seeking jobs immediately after a Bachelors. On-campus placements are almost non-existent, those seeking for jobs have to explore off-campus options. If in case you opt for placement drive, usually HR roles are offered. However, there are no structured placement opportunities especially for psychology students within the college.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi IS not available, but labs are well-equipped with AC, though it sometimes does not work. Compared to other DU colleges, the infrastructure is decent. The library has most of the necessary books for the course, though there is scope for more. Overall the infrastructure is good. I did not stay in the hostel as the rooms are very small and compact. The food is average, similar to any other mess. Sports facilities are good, with many opportunities available.
Faculty: The permanent faculty is knowledgeable, but the quality of guest faculty varies each year. The course follows DU's curriculum, which is well-structured and relevant, though additional practical exposure is needed for industry readiness. Semester exams are easy and straightforward, with PYQs being helpful. The passing percentage is around 33%.
Other: For psychology, since there are only 12 colleges, this is a decent college. Do not expect a campus life here. The surrounding area is decent.

A well-rounded college experience—great faculty, infrastructure and decent placements.
Placements: In psychology honors courses, placements are nil almost in any college; however for other courses, the college provides good and decent placement for sectors like IT and management. The placement cell is very active and improving. There are more than 25 companies, like Google, Chegg India, Wipro, etc., associated with the college.
Infrastructure: The college has the best library, where one can find any needed book. The labs have AC, the canteen and mess food are decent, and the classrooms are well maintained. The campus overall is spacious and beautiful and has a good sports area and equipment. Medical facilities are not provided properly; rooms are open for a few days only.
Faculty: The faculty are highly knowledgeable in their respective fields, are approachable, helpful and provide great guidance. They cover their syllabus on time; however, students are encouraged to self-study to gain a deeper understanding. The course curriculum is relevant and aligned with the syllabus for future competitive exams. Semester exams are manageable, and a significant number of questions are from past years so one can prepare easily.
Other: I chose this course because I have always had an interest in studying the human mind and behavior. This course will make you see things from different perspectives and will make you an open-minded person. Moreover, campus life is happening, societies are active and fests are good.

Absolutely satisfied in terms of the quality of education.
Placements: The placement isn't guaranteed, and the students have to look for jobs by themselves. It is not given by the college in the majority of cases. Especially in my course, there are no placement offers that I know of that any of my seniors have received. Delhi University is not that big on placements.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available are really good. Especially considering that it is a government college, the facilities provided are beyond excellent. There is a sports department, so even sports are played well by the students, and there is a facility for that too.
Faculty: The teachers are extremely helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The quality of teaching is beyond excellent. The course curriculum is relevant, and it actually makes the students industry-ready. The professors help the students in every possible way and make sure that they are equipped with everything that they need for the exams. The semester exams are based on the material that is taught.
Other: I chose this course because I have been really drawn to it ever since I was in school. The best things about my course is that we get to interact with people from all walks of life. The one thing that I think is important and could improve in the course is the practical exposure that is given to the students. The college is not that great when it comes to fests, and the campus life is not that great because it is an off-campus college.

Shaheed Rajguru College has good infrastructure.
Placements: There was no placement cell for psychology students, nor were any internships provided by the college. But, I was provided with a letter of recommendation by the college, which can be used for further internships and jobs. Apart from that, nothing was provided. I wish they had developed a better placement cell.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was good, with AC in every seminar hall. Wi-Fi facility was available. The library was really good, with sufficient space and books according to the curriculum. The hostel was okayish, providing good food at a reasonable price. I never used the medical facility. Sports and game equipment were available.
Faculty: Teachers were quite good and really experienced. They were helpful and would help students even on WhatsApp. They were really friendly and always tried to understand students. They were not strict with assignments and tests. They also helped a lot with practicals too.
Other: The campus life was not good. As it was an off-campus college, you wouldn't find much of a crowd there. But, make 100% of it whatever opportunities were provided. Scholarships were provided to EWS students, with some foreign scholarships too. In psychology, labs were well developed. I wished they had a good crowd.
