Candidates seeking SGSITS MBA admission are required to submit an application form in the first place. This form has to be submitted directly at the admissions office. SGSITS Indore has a placement cell called the Training and Placement Cell. The Training and Placement Cell offers a medium to facilitate skill development through hands-on experience curriculum. The Institute focuses on providing practical learning through organising various workshops and interactive sessions with the recruiting companies. Some of the top recruiting companies associated with SGSITS Indore are Accenture, Asian Paints, Capgemini, Delloite, Genpact etc. As per the last presented records of year 2023, more than 1000 offers were provided among which the average package of top 50 offers was INR 19.68 LPA. The minimum marks that required for the MBA programme at SGSITS Indore in 2023 were:

50% aggregate marks in any UGC/AICTE approved bachelor's degree for general category candidates.

45% aggregate marks in any UGC/AICTE approved bachelor's degree for SC / ST/ OBC  (excluding creamy layer) category candidates of Madhya Pradesh.
