SGSITS, Indore: worst infrastructure and fee structure for a so-called government-funded institute.

Faculty: Teachers are qualified, especially the main subject teachers. The teaching quality of the Physics faculty is very bad; they just yell at you for no reason and don't explain the subject well while expecting us to get full marks. The curriculum is very irrelevant. As engineering students, we are being taught Biology. I have chosen Computer Science, but in the first year, we have to study every single branch. Semester exams are very difficult. The questions taught in the classroom are very differen...

The quality of the crowd is very good as there are many students with a great percentile.

Faculty: This is the best part of our college. What I like most is the dedication of faculty members to teaching. Most of the faculty members are highly qualified and have completed their studies at higher institutions. The curriculum is also not that hard. Maintaining a good CGPA is possible.

SGSITS into summer from the perspective of a student who just lived 3 years here exploring domains.

Faculty: Everything is great here. Faculty members have Ph.D. degrees, and the majority of our faculty members are GATE rankers, so you can rely on them. The course curriculum is a little bit outdated, but since 2025 onwards, AI is mandatory for every course. Semester exams are mostly theory here.

The facilities and placements are decent, but the fees are a bit high.

Faculty: Teachers were qualified, and almost all were PhD holders. The teaching quality varies from teacher to teacher, but you can understand if you pay attention in class. The curriculum, I feel, is a bit outdated, which is the case with almost every engineering college. The semester exams are fairly tough, but you can score well if you attend the lectures and study a bit before the exam. The pass percentage is 33%.

Teachers are supportive, and have a good placement record compared to others in Madhya Pradesh.

Faculty: Teachers are really helpful as it is an autonomous college. Semester exams are average. From PYQs, you can get an idea of the upcoming paper. 22/70 marks are required to clear the paper, the course is relevant, and the IT branch is self-financed, so you can get relevant facilities itself in college.

College is good, but students are not satisfied due to the increase in fees.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and very well qualified from top IITs and foreign institutes. Teachers have good knowledge of their particular field. Some things are relevant, others are not, according to my experience. Semester exams are moderate.

College is better for the students in Madhya Pradesh than other private or government colleges.

Faculty: Most of the faculty have graduated from the same colleges and from other government colleges of Madhya Pradesh. Some professors from NITs have done PhD from top IITs. The course curriculum is relevant. Semester exams are not as difficult paper come from RGPV.

Faculty members here are very interactive and supportive.

Faculty: SGSIT semester exams here are generally considered moderate in difficulty, manageable with consistent study. As per my friends' view, exams aren't excessively hard if they revise previous years' papers and stay updated, with strict invigilation ensuring a good passing rate.

B. Pharma review at SGSITS Indore.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, especially the senior faculty. The curriculum is relevant, and it does make students industry ready. Exams are very difficult. 50 percent is needed just to pass in theory papers. Many students fail, but here there is no concept of semester back. One is directly given a year back after he/she has failed in 12 subjects, including theory and practical.

If you are from Madhya Pradesh, then definitely prioritize this college.

Faculty: Some teachers are literally like elder brother and sister, but some are more than enemies, for example, my Physics faculty is very cruel. The difficulty level of the exam is medium, but there are many exams and too many assignments, work, and projects.

It has high fees with zero facilities.

Faculty: Many teachers of the college are well-educated and knowledgeable. Many of them are PhD holders. They are experts in their subject. Core subjects like DBMS and networking are taught very well. The institute also encourages coding and mini-projects. The pass percentage is 80-90. Faculty members are good in my department. They are experienced.

It has strong academics with growing placements.

Faculty: Faculty members in civil engineering are qualified, supportive, and generally helpful in solving doubts. Teaching quality is good, but sometimes, more practical exposure could be added. The course curriculum is relevant and updated, focusing on industry skills, design, project management, and software use, which makes students industry-ready.

It is overall a good college.

Faculty: Teachers and facilities are good. My sister said that she has good and understanding teachers, and they study well. As the college itself is autonomous, I guess there is a good and helpful environment. Exams are also conducted and are moderate.

SGSITS has good faculty, average placements, large alumni network, very high fees and limited campus

Faculty: No doubt, faculty members are awesome. All are Ph.D. and Masters from IITs and top institutes. The best part about faculty members is that they are supportive, understanding, and willing to teach students, especially in IT department. There are 2 mandatory midterms, and an optional mid sem exam is organized, and as usual, semester exams are there. Difficulty of exams is much harder than in other institutes in M.P. About 20 percent fail to pass the exam in atleast one subject. Curriculum is updat...
