College is good and all things in the college are better than other colleges except IITs.
Placements: There are good placements in this college. The average package is about 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Tata Consultancy Services, Wipro, and Accenture. A good number of students got internships from this course. All the big company visit here to give a placement to students.
Infrastructure: College campus is spread over 114 acres. GCOEA has good infrastructure and all facilities are available in hostel on Amravati Walgaon Road. Public Works Department of the Government of Maharashtra is responsible for the construction and maintenance of buildings. Every department has its own building, also the institute has an independent boys' hostel and girls' hostel.
Faculty: Faculty members of Government College of Engineering, Amravati are good. Faculty members in civil engineering department are the best and their teaching skills are very good, and whatever they teach is very useful during the placement time.
Other: The environment of college is very good.

Satisfied with college, really good education.
Placements: The college have better placements offered by top companies like TCS, Reliance, L&T and gives an average package which may depend on your CGPA score. In some cases, the company selects students that do not have any backlog in any subject in each semester.
Infrastructure: The college have all laboratories and a central library and also have free Wi-Fi service across the campus. The hostel facility is also available with the best rooms with all facilities including Wi-Fi and mess. The games are also arranged on campus, named as KCT.
Faculty: The faculty members are well-qualified and full of knowledge, which helps us with studies and understanding. However, due to the autonomous college, the exam and curriculum pattern are difficult, and students have to study. The passing criteria for the end-semester paper is 60 marks.
Other: The course in civil engineering offers more opportunities and the options for government jobs are also more. The college has arranged events named as Zenith, and you can get a scholarship from the government of Maharashtra.

Reviewing Government College of Engineering, Amravati.
Placements: Students with a percentage of 60% and above were placed in our course. The highest package offered was 6.5 LPA, the lowest was 3 LPA and the average package was 4.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies were Larsen and Turbo, Tata, Adani and Afcons infrastructure.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available for our course and the department are good. Almost every branch and classroom has a separate Wi-Fi and our course has 7 labs namely geo5, etabs, surveying, concrete technology, structures, geotech, and mechanics. A Library is provided.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality was very good. Our course makes the students industry ready. The difficulty level of the semester exams depends on the subject and the syllabus. Some papers are quite lengthy. The overall passing score is 40 out of 100.
Other: I chose this course because it not only has job opportunities in private but also in public sector and many government jobs can be achieved.

Good placement in 2022, good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: A good college for students f rom a low-income family, but with a passion for innovation. The average package offer was 3 to 4 Lacs per annum. I recommend that you get admission only in the branch in which you are interested; please do not make a decision randomly. Because changing the branch in my college is not so easy here.
Infrastructure: Our colleges' infrastructure is average. The official department building is older, while the electrical department building is new. The college's entire campus is covered by the high-speed Wi-Fi network. You can easily connect to the internet from anywhere in the college. Mess facilities are also available in the mess.
Faculty: The coordination, dedication, teaching and management of each and every faculty are at the extreme. Students also get preparation leave before the exam to complete the syllabus personally. Students get above 40% marks in each exam. All teachers and seniors are supportive the teachers are really good and help students with every difficulty.
Other: Government post-matric scholarship is provided and it is 50% of the tuition fees for nonreserved category students. Many parents think that government college has less fees but this college charges the same fee as other private colleges. Many events like technical festivals are very good. The campus is in a very good location with good links to the city.

The best ever faculty members and environmental infrastructure.
Placements: As a student of Government College of Engineering Amravati, I recommend you to get admission here in only the branch in which you are interested, don't make the decision randomly, because guys it's not so easy here to change the branch in my college. Now about placement, I don't say it was bad but the placement is not much better here the maximum is about 7 LPA and the average is around 3-4 LPA. Most of the students are wanted to do M.Tech after completing the B.Tech from our college, and for taking place after BTech. you want to get 8-9 pointer CGPA in the final year. There are many companies visited for placement like L&T, Infosys, etc. Some of our seniors are also placed in Amazon also.
Infrastructure: The full area of the college is covered by a high-speed Wi-Fi network. You can easily access the internet at any point inside the college. The infrastructure of the hostel is well designed and newly constructed in the last 2 years. The mess facilities are also available in mess (veg, non-veg) there is totally separate.
Faculty: Yes, one more important thing is faculty. The coordination, dedication, teaching and management of each and every faculty are at the extreme. And none of the students face any difficulty in completion of curriculum in the given time interval, students also get PL (preparation leave) before exam to complete the syllabus personally. For get passed the condition is that the student get above 40% marks in each exam.

Based on students marks and rank, students deserve this college as they won't get better than this.
Placements: The placements are not good in our college. Only 2-3 companies visit with an average package of 3-4 LPA are only expected. For the core branches, placements are negligible, but for CS and IT from past 2-3 years, placements have increased, and the average package also increased but with a minimal increase in amount.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is quite good. The whole campus is greenery. There is a vast playground but also with a lack of gym facilities on the campus. Infrastructure not appropriately maintained due to the politics of college and some faculty members, but there is a clean and healthy environment provided.
Faculty: I am a student of civil engineering. I want to mention the teaching standards of the only civil department. The teachers make lots of effort to learn students. There are many teachers, but few are good and helpful in our department, and 1-2 teachers are not at all supportive of students.
Other: There are a total of three events conducted in the college they are Alumni, Zenith and Prajwalan.

Review of Government College of Engineering, Amravati.
Placements: As we are from Nagpur, there are less opportunities and very little exposure as compared to metropolitan cities. The college provides the best placements for IT and computer students, but for other departments, it is less. So, if one urges for a job-seeking opportunity, then they can opt for CS or IT or can move towards some good cities, where better exposure could be found. There were almost 80-85% of placements in computer and IT departments and only 3-4% in core branches. MNC like L&T, Fiat, etc., and some IT giants like TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, Kabbage, etc.. have visited our campus for placements.
Infrastructure: The college has a huge barren land, but only 25% of it is used, and the rest is left for cattle feeding. Wireless fidelity was not good. Labs are equipped with instruments, but they are not working or not properly calibrated. Sports is a good activity, but only one ground is available, where every corner seems to be occupied when our college trophy is going around. However, it's a good home for serpents to live. A canteen is a place where you can create memories with your friends, and nothing special. The hostel is okay, but the amenities are not up to the mark. There are many such issues which I faced.
Faculty: Faculty members are good, and some are very bound to their work, but when it comes to understanding students, you won't find a single faculty standing with them. Teaching depends on the department, to which you are allocated. The student to faculty ratio 60:1. Industrial visits were very few and not objectively planned. The course curriculum is very good.
Other: The entire college comes up and blooms during a festive season, whether it be alumni meet, tech fest or cultural fests. All are good here, and you learn about team management and teamwork. It keeps the spirit high of every student.

The faculty in civil department are great, and the placements for CS and IT branches are great.
Placements: Placements for CS and IT branches are very good, but the placements for civil and mechanical students are not much satisfactory. Very few core companies visit the campus compared to IT companies. TCS has ranked the institute as a premium institute. The institute lags in providing internship opportunities.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is quite good. The old infrastructure was renovated recently. The campus is spread over 105 acres and is huge. Labs are well-equipped. The canteen is decent. The library is great with all the NPTEL courses ready to download in the delivery. Wi-Fi facility is not provided.
Faculty: The teachers are well qualified and have a lot of experience. The college organises site visits and minor projects to help the students to understand the current market scenario and practice in the market. The faulty in the civil branch are great. The course curriculum covers all the concepts required for a modern engineer.

There will be a notification from MHCET in the month of April. You have to apply and sit for an entrance exam called MHTCET. Based on the rank you will get. I hope you are a Maharashtra candidate.
