It considers two main entrance exams as applicable to join B.Tech at the Modern Education Society's College of Engineering. Maharashtra Common Entrance Test MHT CET is mainly related to getting admission through all the engineering colleges situated within Maharashtra. MESCOE allows entrance through a consideration of the scores at this particular examination for any individual intending to join on grounds of their quota state.

The application process for JEE Main 2025 Session 1 is open (till November 22nd, 2024). The last date for registration is November 2, 2024.

The flagship programme of MESCOE is B.Tech for its strong curriculum followed by industry relevance and high placement opportunities. The college has the B.Tech programs in computer engineering, electronics, and mechanical. Almost 60-70% placement confirmation has been received with repute companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, etc. The average salary package offered to the B.Tech graduates is around INR 4.5 LPA, and the highest up to INR 42 LPA. These factors combined make B.Tech a programme in great demand at MESCOE.

MESCE of Modern Education Society is also one of the good options to look for when planning to do B.Tech in any stream especially computer science, information technology, or mechanical stream. The college provides a good programme containing an optimal balance of theory and skill development and approved training practices. MESCE has well-qualified faculty, and well-equipped and well-established infrastructural facilities besides harnessing the students’ learning through participation in various co-curricular activities. Companies are another strength, where several recruit graduates each year according to placement records. Even though it is not a very well-ranked engineering college in India it does offer a reasonably good quality education and reasonable job placements for intending engineers.

There is a wide scope in employment for graduates after B.Tech from Modern Education Society's College of Engineering. Top recruiters are TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Amazon, and IBM- thus strong industry linkages. Graduates can do various roles in software development as well as in IT services and engineering jobs available for all sectors. After JEE session 2 is completed, only those candidates who are aiming for IITs need to start preparing for JEE Advanced after clearing JEE Main. Those who are above the 98th percentile should start preparing for JEE Advanced as soon as possible. Those below this, between the 95th and 98th percentile, should focus on attempting more mock tests and previous year question papers so that they have a better chance of clearing JEE Advanced

NIT Manipur JEE Main cutoff 2024 has been released for admission to the BTech courses. During the Round 1 cutoff, the closing rank for CSE was 25886 for the General category students under the AII India Quota. Among OBC candidates, the closing rank for B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering stood at 8750. MESCE-Modern Education Society’s College of Engineering falls in the category of Tier II engineering institutes located in India. Even though it is a quality college with somewhat reasonable infrastructure. It is not placed on the same pedestal as Tier 1 colleges, like the IITs or NITs. Specialized programs, experienced faculty, and good placement chances are some factors for which MESCE is famous, but not for the generalized engineering branch. Nevertheless, for those learners who wish to enter one of the best universities and be awarded with national status – there are other options. However, MESCE is still an option for a candidate who wants quality engineering training in an environment that does not frustrate them.
