My life at Shyama Prasad Mukherjee College, Delhi University.

Placements: Placement cell is not very active in my college. However, the placement cell provides some opportunities, such as small placements and internships, which are beneficial for students to gain new experiences. Small companies recruit students, mostly in the fields of economics and mathematics. I believe the highest salary package offered was 6 LPA, not more than that.

Infrastructure: There is no hostel facility in my college. Students have to stay in PG accommodations, which is difficult and costly. Computer labs, classrooms, and library are nice, and the library has a lot of books. However, the Wi-Fi facility is not that good. We always face issues due to the Wi-Fi.

Faculty: Faculty members and the course are all very good, and I am very happy with the course I’ve chosen because it is very interesting. I am eager to study it at a higher level. Semester exams are not very difficult, they are of moderate level and can be easily passed by studying the previous year's questions.

Other: I chose the course HDFE + Political Science because I was interested in studying Political Science. When I got to know about HDFE after joining the college, it was also very interesting to study. There are two main fests in my college: one is Jhilmil, which is a Diwali fest, and the other is Srijan, which is the main fest of my college where celebrities also come to perform.

College life at Shyama Prasad Mukherjee college .

Placements: There are total 60 students in my batch. Ngos and some of the small companies come for recruitment for this course. 40% to 50% students get recruited. There are government initiated internships in which the students get recruited by interview and LOR.

Infrastructure: Course is very interesting but my college does not provide any hostel facilities for students which is very inconvenient for the other state students who come to take admission in Delhi university. They had to join PG. College has a canteen but no mess facilities available.

Faculty: Faculty members are very good, knowledgeable and helpful. The course curriculum is relevant and helpful for the students who want to prepare for any government exams. The exams are of moderate level and can be prepared with the help of previous year questions.

Other: I have a lot of interest in studying hdfe and political Science. Need more books in college which can help me to study more about the subject. Events like annual day, sports day are held in my college. A fest called 'Srijan' is held where celebrity guest is invited. There are many extracurricular activities like kabbadi, basketball court, gym, yoga room, music room, dance etc.

Shyama Prasad Mukherjee College is a beautiful college.

Placements: There are not many placements available for my course, but for commerce courses, some of the top companies visit to offer jobs. The highest package offered was 6LPA and the lowest package was 3LPA. 50 to 60% of the students get job offers in my college from commerce courses.

Infrastructure: SPM college provides many good facilities like Wi-Fi, Hdfe laboratory, good classrooms, basketball court, kabadi ground, 3-floored library, a large auditorium, and a canteen with a good food menu. There is no hostel in my college.

Faculty: The faculty is very understanding and professional. They help us by taking extra classes and doubt sessions. My course hdfe and Political Science is relevant and very interesting. The semester exams are moderate to high level depending upon the subject. The previous years questions help a lot.

Other: I chose this course specially because of the subject HDFE as it is a practical subject and will help me to develop extra skills. The main fest of my college is SRIJAN, it includes many events like dance performances, live celebrity show, DJ, food stalls and many more. Extracurricular activities available in my college are basketball, music, dance, badminton, kabadi, yoga, aerobics, etc. The college provides scholarships for toppers and EWS students.

This college is a safe and tobacco-free environment for girls.

Placements: According to me, 80-90% of students were placed in the course and 20% got an internship in HDFE. All over it is good to study here. Packages are quite affordable for everyone as it is under Delhi University. Teachers took us to government NGOs for internships and that was helpful.

Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi facility never worked there, it was just to show us. They should improve drinking water facilities with water coolers. Hygiene was maintained in classrooms and grounds, but the canteen should be more cleaned. Sports facilities are excellent as they give proper guidance in sports and they also have aerobics and gym facility for girls.

Faculty: Teachers helped a lot in providing study materials and they guided us in making our projects and files for internal assessments. Some teachers also give us personal guidance and coordinate with us in online classes during the pandemic situation. But some teachers have an attitude they don't even bother to help us.

Other: The batch I studied in was very helpful to me in covid times.

Satisfied with societies work.

Placements: Around 2% of students were placed in my course. 6 LPA is the highest, 3 LPA is the average package and 1.2 LPA is the lowest package offered in my course. Private companies recruiter in my course. Around 5% of students got internships in my course and that is in local private companies.

Infrastructure: Facilities and Infrastructure is available in my college. Wi-Fi, labs, classroom, desk, fans, and well settled 3-floor library is available in my college. No hostel is available in my college. Sports, games and medical facilities are good. The canteen is good. Good quality food is available.

Faculty: Teachers are so helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. They are so supportive. And always available for any type of help. Yes, the HDFE subject is good and relevant and makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are a little difficult but can be passed by studying before 2-3 months of exams. 40% in each subject is the pass percentage.

Other: I want to become a special educator that is why I choose this course. Job opportunities after this course are Child Daycare Supervisor, Preschool teacher, Social-Worker, After-school Programme Supervisor, counsellor, Project assistant in MWCD, Lecturer, can work as project coordinators in NGOs. Practical work should be more. Events, Fest, Campus Crowd, Connectivity, Campus Surroundings, Scholarship, Extracurricular Activities, etc. Are good. There are so many societies and ECA activities take parts 2-3 times a month.
