Good faculty, campus life, and average placements.
Placements: Placements for Political Science Hons. are average, as most students opt for higher studies or UPSC. Around 15%-20% of students got placed, with packages ranging between 2 LPA and 7 LPA, and the average is 3.5 LPA. Recruiting companies are Deloitte, Wipro, Byju's, and NGOs visited. About 25%-30% of students secured internships in think tanks, NGOs, and private firms. Roles include research, content writing, teaching, and management trainee.
Infrastructure: The college has decent infrastructure with Wi-Fi, smart classrooms, a well-stocked library, and a computer lab. Sports facilities like basketball and volleyball courts are available, and the auditorium is well-maintained for events. The canteen serves affordable food, though the variety can be improved. Hostel facilities are limited but manageable with proper security. Medical facilities and cleanliness are satisfactory, making the overall infrastructure student-friendly.
Faculty: Faculty members are experienced, supportive, and approachable, making learning engaging. The curriculum for Political Science Hons. It is updated as per DU guidelines and encourages both theoretical and analytical skills, helpful for UPSC and higher studies. Exams are moderately difficult but manageable with regular study, most students pass comfortably with good preparation. Overall, teaching quality and curriculum relevance are strong points of the college.
Other: I chose Political Science Hons. Because of my interest in governance, politics, and preparation for civil services. The course helps in developing strong analytical and critical thinking skills, which are useful for UPSC and higher studies. The best thing about the course is the supportive faculty and the updated DU curriculum. What could improve are the placement opportunities and more exposure to research-based activities. Overall, it is a good choice for students aiming for academics, competitive exams, or research fields.

My college review and the experience I had.
Placements: Percentage of students placed in my course is 8 CGPA. MY college doesn't offer us any placement. No internship is offered by my college or any companies. No roles offered by the college or any companies. My course is B.Com regular from NCWEB.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of my college is not good. There is no network on campus, that's why we can't call somebody on campus. There is no Wi-Fi available for the students. Classrooms are not cool, and fans in the rooms are not working properly. Food in the canteen is average.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, knowledgeable, and supportive. They always try to solve our questions face-to-face or online at any time, whenever we need them. They are also friendly, which is why we have no hesitation in asking them any questions.
Other: Administrative is not good.

Totally dissatisfied because of placement, faculty members were not that much corporate.
Placements: In my batch, there were a total of around 130 students, and none of them were placed in any company. The college was providing internship details, and if you want to do one, you can go through the procedure. But there were no on-campus placements. Most of the students opted for further studies like MCA or M.Sc. in Computer Science.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is average compared to other Delhi University colleges. It has a very small campus. Only in the canteen, you can get a Wi-Fi facility. Classrooms are average with no air conditioning. There were no hostel facilities. You have to seek a flat or PG.
Faculty: Teachers mainly focused on the theory part rather than the practical. Teaching was not that much sufficient for industry readiness. The semester exams were not that difficult. Most of the questions were from the class notes. A student who takes her class on a daily basis can secure a high CGPA.
Other: I have a keen interest in coding and want to explore this field. If the college focuses on the practical part, they would do really well. Annually, fests are held by the college for four days. The campus crowd is not that much.

Best for working students and has supportive environment.
Placements: I am pursuing a B.Com at Shyama Prasad Mukherjee College, Delhi University, under the Non-Collegiate Women's Education Board (NCWEB). In our batch, about 30 to 40% of students secured jobs through various drives and external support. The highest package offered is around 4.5 LPA, the lowest is close to 1.8 LPA, and the average package is around 2.5 LPA to 3 LPA.
Infrastructure: College offers solid facilities for NCWEB students. Classrooms are spacious and well-ventilated. Wi-Fi is accessible on campus. The library has a strong collection of books for B.Com students. Since NCWEB students attend classes only on weekends, there are no hostel facilities. However, campus includes a canteen, clean restrooms, and basic medical support. They also organize sports and cultural events.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and qualified. They explain concepts well. B.Com curriculum is mostly theoretical, but it covers relevant topics. Exams have a moderately difficult level and require regular study. The pass percentage is generally good, around 85 to 90%, if you attend classes and prepare consistently.
Other: I chose B.Com because it provides a solid foundation in commerce and finance. The best part is the flexibility NCWEB offers for working or exploring other interests. However, I wish there were more practical sessions and support for placements. Campus is safe. Events like seminars and cultural festivals are organized sometimes.

Good: infrastructure, seniors, societies, environment, sports facilities. Bad: placement.
Placements: Placement of our college is not great, even for internships. The placement cell of the college is no big help as a Political Science student. You have to rely on your professors for placement purposes; they are really helpful in this matter. I have not seen anyone with a placement in Political Science.
Infrastructure: Overall, the college looks beautiful and has a really pretty environment, giving off the vibe of a typical DU college. We have a lot of halls or conference rooms too. Classrooms are like classrooms , not Bollywood ones, but regular classroom ones. Our college library is a whole 3-story building with a lot and a lot of books on every floor. It has 2 AC halls and a student study area with Wi-Fi connection, and an OPAC to easily find books. The canteen is okay, and the medical facility is nice. There is no hostel. Sports facilities are great, and we have national-level players here.
Faculty: Teachers are really helpful and smart here, and they teach very well. They give some real-life taste, and we follow the curriculum of Delhi University. Recently, a lot of professors have been criticizing it, but still, it is nice. Political Science is one of the most popular courses, so of course, if you love Political Science, you’ll love it here. Teachers are really regular and active, and there are rarely any class cancellations. In the Political Science department, we have a department room and selection for student representatives.
Other: Politics is my love, I feel at home when I “study” Politics. In our college, even after it being an all-girls college, it has really fabulous politics for the student union president. This made me love this college. Apart from this, in academics, we have a lot of university toppers in our college. People degrade it by calling it an off-campus college, but this college has a good feel. Even the surroundings of the college are really nice, and we have a lot of active societies to join like Artistry, Samwadika, etc. We have 2 fests, Jhilmil and Srijan, and they are really nice.

Absolutely not so satisfied with faculty. Placement is near to zero.
Placements: There is very little possibility that you will get any good placement, but yes, you can do an internship, but it all depends on how good you are. This college does not give that much support in placement. No good brand value company comes. And you cannot only rely on the college to get a good package just by getting some good value degrees.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is small but very well maintained in the outer area. Labs are okay, classrooms are not well cleaned, and canteen food taste is okay. The library is very old. You can never find any new book, and mobile data does not work there. They support NCC.
Faculty: The faculty is okay, but not so good at teaching! Teachers are supportive and helpful, yet teachers' first work is to teach their subject very well, in which many teachers do not stand. The attendance rule is very strict; you need to have 60% above and 85% above to get full marks internally.
Other: Small events take place sometimes, but to explore more with other colleges and students, the students have to do it all by themselves. There are a lot of quotas and scholarships for ST/SC and OBC. The general again has to suffer, and the crowd is below average, not so supportive, and there is no healthy environment.
