B.E. in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2017
3.0
A very underrated and underestimated college which has very experienced teaching staff.
Placements: Mechanical branch doesn't get any placement from the college campus, but still, we got few companies who came for open campus placements, and many of the students got selected also. Minimum percentage to qualify was 60% overall. In which around 15 to 20 students were selected. The job was not related to our field, so we didn't go for accepting the job.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite good. In fact, it has the only cricket ground in the range of 5 to 10km in any of the engineering colleges. The campus has free Wi-Fi, classrooms are okay. The library is good. The sports are encouraged very well. In fact, they have University level teams participating every year.
Faculty: The faculty are very nice and supporting. They are very helpful and kind unless you mess with them. Otherwise, they are very good and qualified to teach their respective branch of students. Teaching quality is also moderate. As you know they are qualified that's why they are here, but it depends on students to remain attentive in the class, so I will suggest that it has good teaching and other staff.

Overall, the college is good. The infrastructure of the college is also good.
Placements: The placements are good in our college. About 20% of the students were placed every year. The minimum salary of Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 30,000 were offered by the companies that came to our college campus. Sachin, Tata, HCL, Mahindra, etc., are the companies that visited the campus. The students are offered the roles according to their qualifications and the branch in which they are studying.
Infrastructure: There is free Wi-Fi on the campus. The labs are well arranged according to their fields. The teaching in the classrooms is done on the blackboard. There are many books in the library according to the branch. The medical facilities are not that good, but the sports are conducted every year. For example, volleyball, cricket, football, badminton, table tennis. etc., are the sports that are played. Many events are conducted such as gathering, annual day programmes and Ganesh visarjan.
Faculty: The teacher clear all the doubts that we have. They are well experienced, and they have a good quality of teaching. If anything is going difficult, then they will clear it easily. The teaching is done on the blackboard. There is only one problem and it is that the projector is not provided in the classrooms.

The infrastructure of the college is good.
Placements: The placements in our college are good. 30 to 40 students were placed. The highest marks scored by the students was 83%. Amazon, Infosys, TCS and L&T companies visited the college. The salary offered to a student who was placed first is nearly about Rs. 30,000 per month to Rs. 40,000 per month. All the students are very happy with the college regarding placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. Wi-Fi facility is available on the campus. Classrooms are very clean. The library is good with the availability of books related to all the courses. Medical facilities are available. Our college takes us to the university to play games. The canteen is good. All the facilities are available here.
Faculty: All the teachers in our college are very good. They are highly qualified, experienced and knowledgeable. They help us whenever we have any problem with any of the subjects. We get industry exposure. The faculty teach us everything clearly.
Other: Many events are conducted in our college. The campus crowd is good. The scholarship is provided to the students.

Kindly go for other colleges if you want to be a good engineer.
Placements: You will only get open campuses in college. Not a single closed campus. It's disappointing as you need to tackle a huge number of students and the company selects hardly 1 or 2 students as students have a lack of technical skills. The college is not organizing guest lectures and technical events which boost students' capability need to be increased in order to get maximum technical knowledge. T&P department is very poor and not giving 100%. No regular activities from the T&P department.
Infrastructure: The building is looking good from outside but inside it's not well structured. No Wi-Fi labs and the lack of instruments. Most of the devices and instruments are not in working condition, so it will be difficult for us to perform practical experiments. Old age benches, average cleanliness, no proper sports facility, even the library of the college has old books. Books in the library have not been updated since the past so many years.
Faculty: The staff is good, I mean they are well educated but the newly appointed staff is just below average. Some assistant professors don't have sufficient experience and they are teaching us. Even the lecturers have not specialized in a particular subject teaching that subject. I have also seen that the last year engineering graduates have been appointed as assistant professors. But I would say that the HODs of all departments are very knowledgeable and have a good experience.

I am dissatisfied with this college. It has bad management for fee payment.
Placements: Placements are average here. Few companies visit our college for placements, so few students get placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is bad. There is a small canteen, and it does not serve much food. The quality of the food served is not much good, and it is directly in touch with the highway, so it is easy to reach the college. The campus is small as compared to other colleges. The college is near to the city.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are very helpful. The exam pattern is good. We need to submit all projects. Exams conducted in Coronavirus situations are offline, and they are conducted regularly. Exams are also conducted on a video call with awesome teaching.
Other: I have chosen this course because I like the mechanical engineering course. I choose mechanical engineering because I want to do an internship in Mahindra and Mahindra. I have chosen this college because we have the freedom to do anything along with the degree.

If anyone is poor and he/she has to make their engineering then he/she go with this.
Placements: Most of the students from our course got placed. Almost all students got an internship in Electric Loco Shed Ajni, while some students did them in other industries. But placements are not satisfactory, and only one company visits our college for the same. An average of 60% of the students got placed, and the salary package offered is 1.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good but not up to a level of engineering college. However, there are labs, Wi-Fi facility and library, but old books are available in the library. We wrote a letter regarding new books, but they did not take any action on that. They didn't purchase new books, so I wish that they must take action on it.
Faculty: Few faculty members complete the courses, and most of the faculty members do not complete their course. Teachers are helpful but not qualified. Only a few of them did their PG from NIT colleges, or maximum faculty members are pursuing their M.Tech but do not have much knowledge.

It is a good college, and the infrastructure is very good. The feedback about college is awesome.
Placements: Nearly about 75% of the students from our course got placed. The salary offered here is Rs. 22,000 per month. Reputed companies don't visit here for placements, and just small industries visit. Students who get below 75% and 70% of marks do not get placed in any company, but they do internships in any other company.
Infrastructure: You will have a lot of fun here, and it is a huge campus. There is a huge playground. The hostel is good, but it does not provide food, and we have to bring lunch boxes.
Faculty: Faculty members are good in mechanical, and they are very good and really help us a lot in our professional and personal life. They have very high knowledge and really take care of us like our parents. The mechanical field is very good, and it makes students industry-ready. The teaching quality is good to us compared to other batches.
Other: The best thing about this course is that it is an industrial field, and I love that field and love to work in it. I suggest our college to provide practical knowledge of the machines in this course.

Our college provided good opportunities for good students.
Placements: Around 40% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary package offered was 4 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 2 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 1.4 LPA. Top recruiting companies of our college were CMS Infotech, Tata and Infosys. Top roles offered were project engineers and sales executives.
Infrastructure: Our college infrastructure and facilities were awesome. Wi-Fi and labs were average, and classrooms were clean and spacious. The library was good and satisfactory. Hostels were below average, and the medical facilities were average. Sports and games facilities were satisfactory. The quality of the food served here was satisfactory.
Faculty: Teachers were average and helpful if we take the initiative to ask them. They were qualified enough to teach BE. The course curriculum was quite relevant because India needs a mechanical engineer to work in the automobile sector and develop innovation in the automobile sector. The future scope of our course was machine innovation.
