SOT PDEU MTech Courses & Fees 2025: Admission Dates & Eligibility

SOT Pandit Deendayal Energy University admissions begin with registration. GATE and non-GATE candidates both can participate in the admission process for MTech programme. Below is step-wise details to get a seat in SOT PDEU MTech course:

STEP 1: SOT PDEU MTech Application Process 2025

The mode of application is online for all courses. Candidates can apply for more than on branch subject to the eligibility. The application fee for each branch is INR 700. Find below the steps to apply for SOT PDEU admission:

Step 1.1: Visit the official website of SOT PDEU, https://sot.pdpu.ac.in/.

Step 1.2: Click on the registration link.

Step 1.3: Register and fill out the application form.

Step 1.4: Upload the documents and pay the application fee.

Step 1.5: Submit the form.

Documents required at the time of application

• Latest passport-size photograph
• GATE scorecard
• Graduation marksheet

STEP 2: Selection Rounds

SOT PDEU admission to MTech course is based on GATE score. Candidates who have not qualified GATE are shortlisted based on their performance in the personal interview round. Phase-I of the admission is for GATE qualified candidates. Non-GATE-qualified candidates can participate in Phase-II of the admission. A candidate who has applied for more than one branch has to appear in personal interview for all the respective branches separately

STEP 3: Merit List and Admission Confirmation

The university prepares a merit list for GATE qualified and non-GATE qualified candidates based on performance in personal interview round and GATE score. Once selected, candidates need to pay a course fee to confirm their seat in the university.
