Placements: Good number of companies come for placements to Sphoorthy Engineering College. College is very supportive. A maximum number of students get placed into core companies. The average starting salary would be 8 LPA. Talking about internships, our college provides various internship programs from various companies to grow our experience in the real-world and gain expertise and experience.
Infrastructure: College brings a lot of confidence in students to focus and discover new things. College also helps in overall development of students. It helps them to do more hard work without any difficulty, and provides facilities in classrooms. It is a place where we study and enjoy. We will get fresh air, peaceful weather, ventilation, board visibility, and adequate space. Our living space is very clean with greenery everywhere. The food is too good.
Faculty: Best teachers are available to guide and motivate us. They conduct classes regularly. Teachers revised the notes on time which is the best part for us for exams. The curriculum gets updated every 1 or 2 years according to the latest advantage and patterns. College allows a student to have plenty of time for co-curriculum activities or for developing projects and research, etc. Teaching faculty members are experienced and helpful. Most of them are currently pursuing Ph.D. in some field while a few of them have already pursued.
Other: College provides a lot of skill enhancement programs, right from the first year. We have communication skills classes and special coding classes. It is a perfect place for innovation. IEDC cell makes a student strong in innovation and entrepreneurial skills. I really enjoy learning new skills here.

Absolutely satisfied with faculty members but lacking in placements.
Placements: Only 10% of students got placed, mainly in startups. The highest package is 5 LPA, the lowest is 1.2 LPA, and average is 2.5 LPA. No reputed companies visited. Just 1% secured internships, including one in Turtil. Roles offered are mostly data analyst and data scientist positions.
Infrastructure: Our campus offered excellent facilities like a cricket ground, football ground, basketball court, and a clean and well-managed canteen. There is a well-stocked library, and a cozy student lounge that serves as a great place to relax, study, and interact with fellow students during free time.
Faculty: Teaching quality is poor as most faculty members lack proper qualifications. While the course aligns with the curriculum, effective teaching reduces its value. Semester exams are of moderate difficulty, and the overall pass percentage is around 70%, reflecting an average academic outcome.
Other: I have chosen CSE as it is leading in IT industry. My course offers industry-ready knowledge. They need to remove some basic stuff and add more about programming. Events are the worst thing at this college. Extracurricular activities are good.

I am absolutely satisfied with this college because of the faculty members.
Placements: In my cybersecurity course, only one batch has graduated so far because it was introduced recently. Almost 90% of students who completed the course succeeded in securing a good job package. The highest package awarded to our recently graduated seniors is 12 LPA. My course offers a wide range of job opportunities, and if you have the necessary skills, it leads to high-paying positions in the current market. Our college has provided good placements in 2023.
Infrastructure:
The infrastructure of our college is good. Our college provides good facilities. We have digital classrooms with good-quality projectors in every room of the college. Our labs are arranged with good and high configuration computers with great performance. There is only a girl's hostel provided in our college. The food served in the canteen is good.
Faculty:
Our faculty members are highly educated, and some of them even have doctoral degrees. They address my doubts immediately with great care and understanding. The difficulty of the exams at this college is significant. I've taken many exams, and they are quite challenging.
Other:
I opted for this course because I have an interest in learning hacking and tools.

Disappointed with the faculty and placements.
Placements: 10% of students from my course got placed. The highest package is 8 LPA. Collabera is the top recruiting company with the job role of IT help desk. Its package is 3.5 LPA. The site reliability engineer package is 6 LPA. Internships are offered for students with a stipend of Rs. 18,000 per month in companies like Academor.
Infrastructure: Our College has one of the best libraries with a lot of books on various courses and even higher examination exam preparation books. Our college provides free Wi-Fi for hostel students. We have highly equipped labs. The canteen and mess food will be good in taste compared to other hostels. Sports and games are highly encouraged.
Faculty: Some faculty cannot even communicate in English as a second language. But some of them are good. They do not teach us technical skills of related courses. Semester exams will be held in the college itself. The pass percentage is 50%. But course subjects are interesting to study.
Other: The campus ambience is good. Sports and events are encouraged. The college is average for skill development.

Placements: Since the college started till now more than 2,500 students have been placed in my course. The highest salary package offered in this college is 14 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Cognizant, Academor, EPAM, etc., visit the college for placements. More than 150 students got good internships and stipends. Roles like cybersecurity expert and ethical hacker are offered to students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very good and it is clear. Facilities are very good. Hostels are decent good and homely food is available in the canteen. All the facilities provided here are the best and they make students enjoy also.
Faculty: Faculty members are friendly and they encourage students in many aspects. They are good at teaching curriculum and extracurricular activities. Exams are quite good and we get what the teachers expect. Teachers help students to improve.
Other: My personal experience with joining this college is based on placements and the quality of education they are giving here. Events are held rarely and the crowd is not that dominant here. The college has beautiful surroundings and scholarships are also available.
