The small college located in the heart of Alappuzha, and worth giving a try.
Placements: The placement is usually taking place at the end of an academic year, a lot of local IT companies from the information park come to the campus. The UST Global and Infosys visit in the past for the recruitment drives. The placement cell of the college makes sure that the students attend the job fairs and the other recruitment drives taking place in the other colleges. The cell has supported the students in the placement after the completion of the course. On a scale of five, I would give four for the placements. Almost, 60% of the students got placed on the campus.
Infrastructure: The campus is fully Wi-Fi enabled, and have a huge centralised library with the latest books and journals on all the international levels. The hostel is awesome, especially for the international student's hostel food is tasty. The gym currently only available for men, which can be utilised after the college hours. The large auditorium is available, which could accommodate the full college. The campus is located in the scenic location. The college has fully functional labs with all the types of equipment that can be thought of it are there, and the college supports the other nearby colleges to use the labs. There is a small canteen within the campus, which is always packed with the students throughout the day.
Faculty: The faculty members are highly qualified, and around three to four of them are with the doctorate in each department. The management hasn't spared anything in recruiting the teachers for every department, and each of them is best in their fields. In the department of electrical engineering, we have the faculty members graduated from IIT. The faculty members in the college still use the conventional methods in teaching nothing new in the teaching methods. The faculty to student ratio is around is 1:8. The course curriculum is set by the University of Kerala.
Other: Every year, the college student conducts the technical fest Astral and arts day called Prayag at the inter-collegiate level. The sports and the other events are conducted on the campus for the students.
