Unknowingly things to know.

Placements: Above 45% of students in PU can join the course of pharmacy. After pharmacy, the lowest package is Rs 10,000 per month. The average is Rs 15,000 per month and the highest is Rs 20,000 per month. Sun Pharma is the recruiting company. Above 75% in this course get internships with respective companies like Cipla, Sun Pharma, etc. Drug inspector, drug control, professor, consultant, etc., are the roles offered in this course.

Infrastructure: Labs, classrooms, and library are all facilities available in this course. Our college now started the college hostel, the quality of food available in the mess and canteen, medical facilities, sports, and games are all affordable to join and comfortable for girls to stay.

Faculty: Teaching is good to learn. Teachers are so helpful to me. They are all qualified and knowledgeable. We can understand line to line. This course curriculum is relevant and it is medicine relevant. It makes the students for medicine industry and to prepare for work. It is very easy to pass and we get distinction scores also but want to hear the teacher's words.

Other: I chose this course for my future scope after completing this course and learning about health maintenance for my life and leading my life with earn. Best thing is the practical in the lab and is so interesting and understandable. Uncurable diseases are there and I want to find the medicine for that by using this course and to improve by finding out the medicine for cancer and aids for permanent solution. Events, fests, campus surroundings, scholarships, and extracurricular activities are all there with the interested ones.

Candidate who have passed in Diploma in Pharmacy Examination from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India Under Section 12 of the Pharmacy Act and has secured minimum of 45% marks (40% for SC, ST, Cat-1, OBC (2A, 2B, 3A and 3B category candidates)) are also eligible to apply. Candidate should have completed the age of seventeen years as on 31st December of 2025. Candidate should be a citizen of India. NOTE: The SC / ST/Category-I / 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B and other eligibility criteria is applicable to Karnataka candidates who are eligible to claim eligibility for Government seats under clauses (a), (b), (f), (h), (j), (k) (l) and (o) and the same is not applicable to eligibility clauses (c), (d), (e), (g), (i), (m) and (n) to claim Government Seats and Government quota seats as per proviso of rule 9 (2) of CET-2006 Admission Rules. The candidates who have passed the qualifying examination other than the universities listed in the notification at VTU Website are NOT eligible and candidates who have passed from Karnataka State Open University (KSOU) are also NOT eligible.
