However, while calculating merit, marks obtained in Graduation only will be considered. There shall be a relaxation of 5% marks in favour of SC/BC candidates. Candidate with less than 50% marks belonging to these categories shall not be eligible. Candidates should have passed Graduation/Post-Graduation in a relevant school subject.
B.E. / B.Tech	Candidate must have passed Diploma in relevant stream from a recognized Institute.
BBA	Candidates must have passed the 10+2 or its equivalent examination in any stream conducted by a recognized Board/ University/ Council. OR Candidates who have passed their Matriculation examination and have also passed three year Diploma in any Trade from Punjab State Board of Technical Education & Industrial Training, Chandigarh or such Examination from any other recognized State Board of Technical Education, or Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering & Technology, Longowal are also eligible.
BCA	Candidates must have passed the 10+2 or its equivalent examination in any stream conducted by a recognized Board / University / Council. M.E./M.Tech	Candidates must have passed B.E./ B.Tech. in relevant stream with atleast 50% (45% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) marks in aggregate. In case seats haven't been filled under respective categories, admission shall be considered on the basis of Inter-se-merit in the qualifying examination. A valid GATE Score would be preferred but not mandatory for admission.
B.Arch	Candidate who have passed 10+3 Diploma Examination with Mathematics as compulsory subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized Institute/ University can also apply. Candidates appearing for 10+3 Diploma with Mathematics in the current year may also provisionally appear for NATA-2023.
MBA/PGDM	Candidates must have passed Bachelors Degree of minimum three year duration in any disciplineand must have obtained above mentioned marks (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserve category) from the University recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC). In case seats haven't been filled under respective categories, admission shall be considered on the basis of Inter-se-merit in the qualifying examination.
MCA	Candidates must have passed BCA/Bachelor Degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent Degree. OR Candidates must have passed B.Sc./ B.Com./ B.A. with Mathematics at 10+2 level or at Graduated Level (with additional bridge courses as per the norms of the concerned University) Candidate must have obtained at least 50% (45% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying Examination.
