This was a college for a smart engineer.

Placements: Placements in our college were good. Companies from IT Park (Chandigarh), Infosys, Airtel, Ericson, and industries from an industrial area visited our college and hired students. Executive, assistant engineer, etc., were some of the roles offered by the companies. The highest package offered was about 7 LPA and the average package offered was in between 2 LPA to 3 LPA.

Infrastructure: Facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, library, medical facilities, sports grounds, indoor games, outdoor games, and all are available in the college. Teachers in our college were qualified enough for explaining the experiments in labs or computer labs. Delicious food items enriched in proteins and vitamins were provided to the students. There was Wi-Fi facility in the hostel. Overall, the infrastructure was good during my tenure.

Faculty: Teachers with good academic background were there in our college during my tenure. They were well-qualified and very helpful during the lecture. The tactics taught by them are still helpful in my job. Faculty to student ratio was 60:1. I got an industrial exposure, as industrial training was a part of my curriculum.

Other: Gurdas Maan Sahib visited our campus during my tenure. It was the best event of my life.

Great college for education for the placements.

Placements: The placement here is average, if not the worst. You will probably get a placement, but with low packages like it will be around 2.50 LPA. The internship is available, companies come from the mobile region to offer stipend around 8k per month, and the maximum will be 15k. I will rate 5 out of 10 for this college.

Infrastructure: This college has state of the art infrastructure, the classrooms and labs are well equipped with the Wi-Fi and other essential facilities. Here, there are two canteens, one near the GATE, for snacks, and the second one is large enough to have healthy lunch.

Faculty: The faculty and the course curriculum wise the college is excellent. The highly experienced teaching staff is available. The course is designed perfectly for both practical and theoretical knowledge. So, in my words, you will become a good engineer after enrolling in B.Tech programme in this college.

Satisfied with the faculty. The placement cell is as bad as it can be.

Placements: None of the students got placed. The companies visiting were offering BPO to B.Tech students. The training and placement department of the college is not very good. They are too reluctant to put in any efforts to improve the placements.

Infrastructure: It is a Wi-Fi enabled campus. The labs were good. The library was good and it had all the books related to the curriculum but there are no extra novels or that kind of stuff for readers. There is no sports assistance, especially for boys. The classrooms are very bad looks. The canteen was good if you want to have just a cup of tea, for proper food you have to go out.

Faculty: The faculty of the ECE department is very co-operative and helpful, most of them were possessing good qualifications. The teaching methods should be changed as sometimes a person standing in front of you and reading out a book gets too boring. The curriculum was same as it is for all the colleges under PTU.

Other: Please don't go for this college. The quality of education provided is not so good. Worst management. And the worst part is that, they extract unnecessary money from students. Forget about the placements. I joined due to the low fees, but now the scenario is not the same anymore. Fees structure has changed and now it’s quite high and totally worthless.

Great and excellent college. Will recommend students to take admission here.

Placements: The college has very good placements. As I have also been placed in a very good company. Our seniors were also placed at high posts also. 85% of students were placed. The highest package of salary was 400000 pa. The lowest was 250000. Many companies visited our campus. Approximately 75% of students were offered internship. Very excellent college.

Infrastructure: The college has very good infrastructure. College provides all the types of facilities which a good college should have. They have very excellent computers. Have range of networks with Wi-Fi. Every sports ground is there. The students can play any game. Classrooms are well maintained.

Faculty: This college has very excellent teachers. The teachers are very much qualified. They are always helpful to every student. This college has very nice and excellently detailed syllabus. There are all courses provided. For every medical, non-medical, commerce and arts also. Anyone can do Diploma in anything.

Other: The college has very great connectivity. The college celebrates every fest.
