Life at SASTRA University .
Placements: 80% of students were placed. The highest package was 500000, and the lowest package was 200000. TCS, BNY, Tata Communications, CUB, Deloitte, etc. are the top recruiters. 30% of students got internships in De Shaw, Deloitte, etc. Relationship manager is the top role offered. Here are some facts about my batch and course.
Infrastructure: There are better lab and library facilities. Infrastructure in SASTRA is very good. Air-conditioned classrooms, libraries, and computer facilities are there. The canteen is very good, only vegetarian. It's very neat and clean. A high-speed Wi-Fi facility is available for students.
Faculty: Teachers in SASTRA were very helpful, kind, and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality was very good. The course curriculum is very relevant. It makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are very tough. Passing percentage is 80%.
Other: More practical ways of teaching are needed. Events, festivals, campus crowds, connectivity, campus surroundings, scholarships, extracurricular activities, etc. are very good.

Review of Srinivasa Ramanujan Center, Shanmugha Arts, Science, Technology and Research Academy.
Placements: Most of the students got placed. City Union Bank is the top recruiting company for our course. B.Com can get placements that are equal to engineering students. B.Com students can get good roles in banking companies. Nowadays, insurance companies also hire. People from Kerala, Karnataka, and Tamilnadu come to study in Sastra.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college was good and very clean. The canteen food was also very good. There was a very big library. A big building was allocated for the library. The hostel maintenance was very good. Hostel food was also very good with more varieties of food items. Sports were not good in Sastra.
Faculty: Faculty members were very good. Semester exams were very difficult, so students can improve better. Teachers helped students to clear arrear exams. The teaching quality was very good. All staff members were Ph.D. scholars. Compared to other colleges, B.Com students study more subjects and they study at an advanced level.
Other: I chose this course because it is unique compared to other courses. In comparison to other colleges that offer only plain B.Com with insurance or financial services, or B.Com with banking and insurance. Our college offers all three in the one-degree program, with an honors course. Our college had very low fees with huge credits and high placements, so you can choose Sastra for B.Com.
