I am not a happy student of St. Hopkins. Don't join this college.
Placements: There was a low number of placement drives, which were conducted online rather than physically. The number of individuals getting jobs through the college was low. I would say the beginning package was 3 LPA and 3.5 LPA for those with good marks. Initially, we didn’t have any hope, but somehow degree students got placement options. Companies like Mental Graphic and Udaan.
Infrastructure: The college was in Lakksandra, Bangalore. It wasn’t an institution. The college facility had rented the top floors to a group of workers working on Metropolis projects. There was no food or canteen and no medical facility. They had a room where they hosted small functions. The regulations were pathetic. Proper education was not provided.
Faculty: They had hired some good teachers, at least. Economics and Computer Science went well. But all other subjects were not taught by teachers. So, students had to understand them themselves. The teachers were okay, but we didn’t get teachers for all subjects. I did not see where they taught me about the teaching industry. I didn’t even use the computers for programming. I brought my laptop. The classes were not well maintained.
Other: It was not worth the money or time. But I kept my word that people who had backlogs could join this college and clear the old backlogs while pursuing their UG. The college charged only Rs.35,000 per year. Also, a working professional could get the course completion certificate (UG) by bribing them.
