Fully satisfied because of the knowledge and clinical experience gained from the institute.
Placements: We were the first batch of students doing BPT at St John's and it's mandatory to do the internship there itself. No one is entertained to go out for internship and the placement opportunities are not available in John's for BPT, intake is only for MPT graduates currently.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure was not adequate as the course was newly started but now there is a separate floor for physiotherapy in the college. There is our won physiotherapy branch in the hospital where there is outpatient and inpatient physiotherapy services are provided.
Faculty: The syllabus is under the control of RGUHS so the curriculum is knowledgeable. But scoring high is a tough task because the college doesn't provide adequate internal marks and they are strict with attendance percentages even a 0.5% shortage is also not entertained.
Other: It's a self-practice and self-earning course where you can set up your clinic in the future.

Terrible place for BPT/MPT - Do not join (Teachers Feedback).
Placements: I was a teacher in this college for this course for 3 long years. The management doesn't care about placements and treats the BPT course like a Yoga course. A professional degree course run by Medical Doctors at the top with no clue of the subject set up for absolute failure. Students struggle mentally and physically here due to extreme regional, language-based biases and unfair means of marking location. I have seen students leave the professions altogether after studying here. Most patients are treated by clueless students; faculty are recruited with low to below-average training and education based on religion, low salary package acceptance and the ability to indulge in dirty politics. Most have ' distance education' degrees for a course that is built for 'hands-on' experience .
Infrastructure: Terrible infrastructure for teaching and learning. The library has random books that are sufficient for reading and are outdated. The most useful equipment is a broken tilt table that is as old as the college itself. On inspection days, equipment from other departments is shown to get clearance. The department doesn't even have chairs for students or faculty to sit in. Physiotherapy students are usually treated worse than cattle class as there is a culture of God complex among the doctors.
Faculty: Exams are conducted decently here. But the mark location process is the most unethical scenario that you will SEE. The faculty allocates marks based on biases and favoritism toward culture, religion and gender. Most of these decisions are closed doors and the student is helpless, left to accept their ill fate, decided by an utterly competent set of teachers and toxic, unfair management. It is a common day scenario to see the faculty of physiotherapy being abusive towards students, threatening them and forcing their workload on them. Most days you will see students working on patients while faculty are busy having coffee, gossiping or attending their personal businesses during working hours. The management is well aware of these behaviors but encourages them, as here seniority and promotions are given based on how you gel and thrive with management, not based on how you work or what you achieve. Hopeless and unethical place. I would never recommend any student to join here. This is not good professional practice.
Other: They should either shut down the course or replace the entire department.
