SIBM Pune Course Admission 2025 (Open): Last Date, Eligibility, Fees, Selection Criteria

The requirement of entrance exam varies course-wise. Aspirants seeking admission in Executive PGDM do not require passing an entrance test. The selection is based on performance of the candidates in the personal interview round. For MBA courses, candidates do need to pass SNAP. No, SIBM Pune does not accept the CAT score. The eligibility criteria for a two-year MBA/PGDM is a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate and the accepted entrance exam is SNAP. The final selection is done based on the student's performance in Group Exercises and Personal Interview. Candidates who complete the course will receive a degree from Symbiosis International (Deemed University).

The modes of Symbiosis Institute of Business Management admission are online and offline. Admission to various courses is based on merit and scores of various entrance tests. Candidates applying for a full-time MBA course have to register for the SNAP exam. The first step in the application process is to visit the official website and then click on Apply Now tab. SIBM Pune admission to full-time MBA and MBA in Innovation and Entrepreneurship course is based on SNAP scores 2024. As per last year's trends, SNAP cut off for SIBM Pune must be around 98.5 percentile. SNAP is to be conducted in three phases, first on Dec 10, second on Dec 17 and third on Dec 22. SIBM Pune offers admission to MBA and MBA (I & E) courses on the basis of valid SNAP scores, followed by a GE and PI round. SNAP registration process is online at SNAP TEST website. Candidates will hve to fill the online SNAP application form at the exam website by creating a login ID. The SNAP fee payment will have to be made online while filling the application form. Candidates need to mention the number of attempts in a single form only. They also have to select the SIU colleges and courses for admission in the same form. The process of SNAP application form filling has been described below:

There are a total of 282 seats for the MBA/PGDM programmes. The seat intake vary from one specialisation to another. Mentioned below is the specialisation-wise seat count:

3. MBA in Innovation and Entrepreneurship: 60

There are a total of 60 seats for Executive MBA course of SIBM Pune. Candidates are admitted to the programme based on fulfilment of eligibility criteria and performance in the interview round. The seat allotment is done as per the sanctioned seat intake. Moreover, the institute may reserve seats for candidates belonging to SC/ST categories. A relaxation in minimum aggregate is given to course applicants of 5%. 

The SIBM Pune does consider previous academic records to a limited extent. To be eligible for admission to SIBM, you must have a minimum grade point average of 50% in your previous academic course. However, your SNAP entrance test score will be more important for your admission. The SNAP entrance test is conducted for admission to SIBM. In this, the SNAP scores have a maximum weight of around 50 percent. If you performed well in this selection round, your previous academic records will not impact much on your admission.
