My honest review of my college.

Faculty: I pursued a full-time MBA course for 2 years, which consisted of 4 semesters and a 2-month internship. Each semester included 5 subjects with various specializations. I chose Finance with International Business. Faculty members were really good, and many were from a defence background. My favorite was the Statistics professor, Rap Sir. He was the oldest and the kindest of all. The college had an excellent group of visiting faculty members. Many of them were columnists in popular newspapers and m...

Professors teach what market needs and always pushes to upgrade ourselves.

Faculty: Up to the market standards and demand of the industry, students are educated, as well as various seminars and guest sessions that complement the learning process of students. Most of the class discussion and exams are application-based, with an extreme focus on presentation skills.

Absolutely satisfied with everything.

Faculty: The teaching and administration staff is highly qualified; most of them have prior experience in teaching. The pedology is a combination of lectures, case studies and peer learning. Some guest staff are also arranged to guide us in our career. Passing the exam at SIBM Pune is not very difficult. We give mid-term and end-term exams in one semester and you will not have much time to prepare for the second year.

One of the finest colleges in India.

Faculty: SIMS provides a 2-year MBA programme in which there are 4 semesters and 5 months for every semester. SIMS has highly experienced faculty; either they have a Ph.D. degree or years of industry experience. In our last year, we did not have any physical classes due to the pandemic. We have periodic case studies, presentations, and assignments to boost problem-solving & critical thinking. 40% is mandatory for passing exams, which are difficult.

Our college is worth spending two years.

Faculty: The in-house faculty members were average, but the visiting faculty members were good. Especially for finance and marketing. The curriculum was changing as per the industry requirement so expect changes every year. Overall, both years will be hectic for you in terms of overall activities and classes.

It is a great place for budding entrepreneurs and students who aspire to get a good job.

Faculty: Faculty members here focus on interactive learning. They use different ways to make all the students in the classroom engaged even when classes are conducted virtually. The course curriculum is comprehensive and includes all the aspects which an MBA must provide. It involves peer learning, and you get to learn about a lot of things covered in the course curriculum as well as in presentations, workshop, seminars, etc.

Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies is worth the money paid for the course.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are very helpful and qualified. They put in many efforts on every student, so that makes us enjoy while learning. The course curriculum is relevant, and the pedagogy followed here makes things very easier for students to grasp since that's the most important factor.

Our college provides great ROI and is a special college for students of defence families.

Faculty: Our college has some really good faculty members for a few subjects. Although our college employs many faculty members, the teaching quality doesn't really seem to be satisfactory. However, teachers are friendly, qualified and have good command over their subjects. Guest faculty members of Symbiosis are also an additional benefit.
