Symbiosis Law School Nagpur Admission 2026: Application Process, Eligibility, Courses & Fee

Admission to Symbiosis Law School, Symbiosis International, Nagpur, is based on an entrance exam followed by an online PI. Symbiosis International (Deemed University) conducts SLAT annually. The exam shall be held in computer-based test mode. The duration of the test is 60 minutes, and there are 60 MCQs of 70 marks in the test.

The final selection for UG courses is Symbiosis Law Admission Test (SLAT) and CBT Mode PI (Online) done based on two components, i.e., Symbiosis Law Admission Test (SLAT) and CBT Mode PI (Online). To apply for a SLAT test, the applicant must have obtained at least 45% in his Higher Secondary examinations.

Following the SLAT qualification, the student would also be required to be present for a Personal Interaction (PI) session, which further tests the personality of the prospective student. The SLAT test carries a weightage of 70%, while the PI carries a weightage of 30%.

After registering for the entrance tests and paying the registration fees, students must separately apply for the Symbiosis institution of their choice. The form for SLS Nagpur would also require entering of personal and qualification details. Thereafter, after successful qualification in the entrance test and the Personal Interview, students will receive the admission letter and can proceed to conclude the remaining joining formalities.

In order to be eligible for the BA LLB course at Symbiosis Law School, Nagpur, the student must possess at least 45% marks (40% in case of SC/ST candidate) in her/his 10+2/Higher Secondary education. This allows the student to appear in the SLAT test that screens applicants for admissions in BA LLB.

After appearing in the SLAT test, the candidate must achieve scores above the cutoff level as stipulated by the SLS Nagpur management. The cutoff score for SLS Nagpur usually falls between 43-47 in SLAT.

Students willing to be admitted to the BA LLB programs at SLS Nagpur must apply for the SLAT test and participate in the Personal Interview stage. The 1^st and 2^nd instalments for SLS Nagpur BA LLB fees are INR 2,25,500 and INR 2,05,500 respectively.

Talking about the registration stage, candidates applying for the SLAT test would also be required to pay INR 2,250 as registration. This does not include the separate SLS Nagpur registration fees of INR 1,000 that students applying there must pay.
