The TAPMI accepts several exam scores including CAT, CMAT, XAT, and NMAT. It has released separate cutoffs for separate exam for different MBA specilisations. Considering the TAPMI MBA cutoff 2024, the percentile needed to get into TAPMI for Master of Business Administration (MBA) is 95, 85, 80 (score), and 80 for CMAT, CAT, NMAT, and XAT, respectively. Candidates need to complete any UG degree with at least 50% aggregate to apply for TAPMI Manipal MBA programme. Final year students may also apply. However, the admission shall be cancelled if they obtain less than 50% aggregate in their graduation. Aspirants applying for MBA Technology Management must also fulfil below requiements:

• Minimum two years of work experience
• Should be able to demonstrate interest in technology domain in the technology interview round

TAPMI MBA admissions are done based on merit in the qualifying examination. CAT is not the only qualifying examination accepted by the college. TAPMI also accepts XAT, GMAT, and NMAT for making admissions to its MBA courses. Moreover, entrance exam scores are not the sole basis of selection. The college reviews candidates based on their past academic records, personality, and performance in GD and PI.

TAPMI maintains an overal CAT percentile of 85 for its MBA course from the past three years (2020, 2021 and 2022) for the General All India category student. Considering the past three years cutoff percentile, there is high chances that a student can get a call from TAPMI with 80 percentile in CAT. However, final admission will be based on CAT/ XAT cutoff score, followed by candidates' performance in the Group Discussion and Personal Interview round.
