College gives importance to studies, arts, and sports.
Placements: Top recruiting companies include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, etc. The highest package offered is 4 LPA, and it ranges from 1 LPA to 4 LPA. The percentage of students getting internships is 70%. More than 80% of students get placed with above an 8 CGPA. Software development roles are offered at the top.
Infrastructure: The college does not have its hostels but offers many PGs recognized by the college. The conditions are pretty good and provide a homely feel. There are sports teams, music bands, and tech fests held every year. There is a library at the admin office and the depth libraries are found separately. Classrooms are well-equipped. The overall infrastructure is well-built and maintained.
Faculty: There are enough faculty members for all subjects. Each semester includes two internal exams. Semester exams tend to be a little difficult, which is quite normal with teachers' notes and support. The pass percentage is at most 80%. The teachers in every department are very helpful and often assist in solving doubts. The course curriculum is not very relevant, but extra training on industry standards is provided by the faculty based on self-interest, and mentorship is also available.
Other: I chose this course because of my strong interest in the field and the opportunities it offers. The college organizes tech fests like advyka which is well planned and executed. Our college doesn't have a hostel of its own. Establishing a hostel facility should be a priority.

Really good college because of the placement and environment.
Placements: Almost 70% of CS students got placement this year. But the placement rate of other departments is comparatively very low. Placement packages of 3.6 LPA to 12 LPA are being offered now. But most of the offers are coming with 4 - 4.6 LPA. SOTI and Coding Ninjas are the top recruiters. Most of the companies hire for developed and testing software vacancies.
Infrastructure: The department provides a proper Wi-Fi connection for students. Labs are also upgraded, and systems are of moderate speed and fine. Classrooms are also technically well and keep good standards. There are no college-owned hostels, but there are many college-approved hostels available near the college. First aid boxes are provided on every floor. The sports grounds are great.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are friendly and they help us develop technical skills and other non-curriculum activities. But some teachers are unable to teach us well, and we can't understand what they are teaching. Unfortunately, the course curriculum can't make us ready for the job. We have to study extra technical skills from outside; they only provide a foundation.
Other: Personal interest and demand in the industry made me choose this course. Every company needs employees with a Bachelor's in CS and some extra skills. The course only provides a foundation of coding skills, so if they replace non-engineering subjects with other coding subjects, it will be helpful to students.

Everything about Perumon College.
Placements: After the 8th semester, the students need to have 8 or 8.5 CGPA and above for placement. The highest package offered is 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Sort, Tata, etc. In Computer Science, role of software developer is the top role offered. Placements are done through a lot of tests and interviews. Percentage of students getting internships is 65%.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available and the college has good lab facilities. All the textbooks and reference books are available in the library. There is currently no college hostel available. But there are rooms and houses available near the college area. The food is okay. A lot of sports and game activities are present in the college.
Faculty: The teachers of the CS department are very helpful and have good knowledge. I was a biology student who didn’t know anything about coding but the faculty helped me. The faculty is good and very helpful. Some of the semester exams are tough while the others are easy. It depends on how much effort you guys put in. If you understand the concepts, it's easy.
Other: Thinking of the future of CS is getting a lot of scope. We can learn more about the tech world which is cool. The college only provides us the basic stuff. It is our responsibility and interest to learn other stuff than the college subjects, to go out of our comfort zone and learn more. College fest is the best ever. Perumon college is known for its fest. It has a big campus area. A lot of events from clubs like IEEE, CSI, IEDC, Tinkerhub, etc. are held. Scholarship is available.

Placements: The average package is INR 3.5 lacs.
Recruiting companies are CTS, Infosys, and so on.
Only service-based companies would hire.
There is a nice environment around the college, and I like the environment.
Nature lovers will enjoy the campus.
There is also a lake near the campus.
Infrastructure: There is almost good infrastructure.
A nice football field, volleyball court, and basketball court are also there.
There is a nice campus and a nature-friendly campus with a lot of environmental elements.
There is also a lake near to the college.
Nice sports and camps are done.
Faculty: Exams are conducted on time.
The exam cell is good.
Semester exams are based at KTU University.
Exams are not so tough.
But exams are conducted frequently, which increases student stress while studying.
Friendly faculty members are present and teach well based on concepts.
Other: Campus life is not that good to enjoy, but not so bad, along with good friends.

Our college has the best campus life to experience.
Placements: Our college is the second-leading institution in Kollam. The college provides excellent placement services and career counseling. Computer science and engineering in Perumon have a maximum intake of 100 students. In the previous two years, almost 60% of students have been placed in top-reputed companies including Infosys and TCS.
Infrastructure: Our college offers a high-speed Wi-Fi connection. There are better lab facilities and computers. Classrooms are provided with smart flip boards. The college offers a massive library. The college has no inbuilt hostel but there are many hostels within a 100 m radius of the college where there are no complaints regarding food or such infrastructure.
Faculty: Our teachers are highly qualified and supportive of students. The curriculum and exams are as directed by Kerala Technical University. The pass percentage in the previous year was 50%. Computer science and engineering has a high pass percentage and better placements.

Our college is good to enjoy campus life.
Placements: Around 70% of students of our college get placed in many companies. Infosys, TCS, Wipro, and many small companies hire students. Many students get placed in our course.
Infrastructure: The campus is vast. The electronics and electrical labs are a bit poor. We have a peaceful and big library with all the study materials. Students are provided with library cards. Our college doesn't have a specific hostel but many hostels work under our college. The canteen food is satisfactory. Sports and arts are motivated on campus.
Faculty: Our college always gives priority to studies. Teachers are helpful and well trained. They have higher degrees like Ph.D.s, etc. Each semester contains 2 series. Students can write exams to improve their internals. Around 60% of students pass all the subjects.
Other: I chose this course as computer science is very demanding in this era. Everything is going smart so the opportunities will always be big. We should improve our knowledge before passing out of this college. Our campus is very large and doesn't have a rush anywhere. There are peaceful places. Scholarships are provided. Our college is near backwaters. Merit and non-merit students get seats in our college. Students with ranks up to 25000 are studying in the merit seat. Festivals are organised on campus.

The college gives a great experience.
Placements: About 60-75 % of students were placed in companies including top MNCs such as Cognizant, Infosys, UST, QBurst, Quest global, TCS, Wipro, Accenture, Federal Bank, Indian Navy etc. A maximum of 8 to 12 Lacs was provided last year and an average of 3.5 Lacs packages was provided to placed students.
Infrastructure: We have a well-bulit infrastructure for the department and are provided with Wi-Fi and labs equipped with machines to study practically. Most of the classrooms have smartboards and a college library at the administrative block with sufficient books. The college does provide hostels which are private hostels and controlled by a hotel committee. The quality of food is average and the college has a canteen on its campus.
Faculty: The teachers are pretty helpful and well qualified for the job. Most of them are guest lecturers the subject are well taught. The college is under KTU, the curriculum is renewed every 4 years. The pass percentage of the students is quite good about 72%.
