Good college with decent infrastructure and placement opportunities.

Placements: Almost 90 percent of the students get placed here in the overall MBA batch. The highest package is around 25 LPA, the average package is around 13.5 LPA, and the lowest would be around 7 LPA. Top recruiting companies that come on campus are Adobe, American Express, Dabur, etc.

Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available on the campus are decent or average, I would say. It is enough according to the fees they are charging, and it is a government college. The facilities in the hostel are average too. You will get decent food in the mess and canteen, but the overall campus life is good as it is on the main Punjab University campus.

Faculty: The professors teaching here are quite experienced and knowledgeable. The courses and curriculum followed here are the same as those followed by other top institutes. So yes, the curriculum is quite relevant according to market needs. There are class tests, mid-semester tests, and end-semester tests too.

Review of University Business School.

Placements: The placement scenario in UBS is above average. The highest salary package offered was above 50 LPA and the lowest salary package offered was 10 LPA. The prominent recruiters of our college are American Express, HSBC, HDFC, KPMG, Infosys, Paisa Bazaar, etc. Around 12 students secured PPO and the rest got placed in reputed companies in the placement week itself.

Infrastructure: The college is located inside the Panjab University Campus, so all the facilities provided inside the campus can be availed by UBS students as well. There are beautiful gardens and well-maintained sports grounds and courts. There is no separate hostel for UBS students, and the admissions into the hostels are purely merit-based.

Faculty: Faculty members of our college are well qualified and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is up to the mark and assignments and projects provided compliments it with real-world problem solving and analysis. Students can do live projects, participate in the various competitions, and do various online courses to build their profiles and knowledge.

Placements: UBS is known for its ROI. Most of the students get placed in final placements as well as internships. Mostly, the management trainee profile is offered in the final placements. In the marketing field brand manager, product manager, business development and area sales manager are offered. Top recruiting companies for the marketing field are HSBC, Amex, PaisaBazaar, Infosys, HDFC, Smart Cube, HDFC Life and SBI Life. In the finance field, top roles offered are project finance, risk analyst and corporate banking. Top recruiting companies for the finance field are EY, HSBC, HDFC, Smart Cube, Infosys. In the HR field, top roles offered are talent acquisition, HR advisory and HR business partners. Top recruiting companies for the HR field are Amex, HDFC, Korn Ferry and Trident. In the operations field, top roles offered are supply chain management and project manager. Top recruiting companies for operation field are Aditya Birla Fashion, Azure Power and Oyo. In the 2017-19 batch, the highest salary package offered was 53 LPA and the average salary package offered was 11.32 LPA and the median salary package offered was 9 LPA.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is just up to the mark, and the entire campus has Wi-Fi facility along with a dedicated library. All the classrooms are equipped with air-conditioners. Nearby our college, there is an air-conditioned Joshi library of Panjab University which is open 24x7. Hostels are under Panjab University, and they are allocated based on merit. Hostels have double sharing rooms with Wi-Fi facility, mess and canteen facilities.

Faculty: All the teachers here are highly qualified and highly experienced. They are best at what they do and make students ready for the future. The course curriculum is relevant, and it also provides time for students to build their skills and work on their own.

A very good Business School.

Placements: The campus placement of UBS is very good, 100% of the eligible students of my batch were campus placed. The average package was 7 LPA and the highest package for International Business was 18 LPA. The Median Placement package for my batch was 6 LPA. 100% of the student get summer internship in UBS.

Infrastructure: The PU campus Wi-Fi offers an amazing speed. The downloading speed can go as high as 50MBPS. Being a part of Panjab University, UBS has all the sports facilities as well. Be it indoor games like chess or outdoor sport like swimming, its all available in Panjab University. The classrooms also are Air conditioned and Clean.

Faculty: Many Professors of UBS have an experience of over 30 years. The have extreme knowledge of their subject and are very talented as well. Many teachers have written 100s of research papers as well. In addition UBS has a very productive environment as well. It definitely makes a student industry ready.

Review of University Business School, Chandigarh - Panjab University.

Placements: Final placements, as well as summer placements, were better than the previous years. The average salary package increased. The placement reports can be downloaded at ubsplacement.puchd.ac.in. The ROI was around 12x, which is much better than new IIMS.

Infrastructure: The campus of Panjab University offers a plethora of facilities like a football ground, gymnasium hall, tennis court, basketball court, shooting range and many more. UBS has access to A.C.Joshi Library, and it is the second-largest library in Asia. The student centre is the food hub, and the food served is of good quality and taste.

Faculty: Faculty members in our college are highly qualified. They have decades of experience in management studies and research. The teaching method is interactive and a good blend of theory and practical. The course curriculum for all streams is designed as per the current industry trends, and it prepares students for the corporate world.

Other: The college organises many events and activities on the campus like TedX, Stock Shastra, etc. There are different cells like placement cell, alumni relation cell, business cell, etc. Being a part of such cells provide us with an additional perspective on how to manage things.

The overall cut off required for UBS Chandigarh Admission by a general category student is expected to be around 90 to 92 percentile. yes. your chances will be more than u will get a call from UBS.

The first step is to fill up a form. The second step is that your previous academic marks should be more than 60%. Thirdly 2 interviews. Fourth- Submitting a statement of purpose and letter of reference.

Can I expect a call from this college with 84 percentile in CAT along with 90% in 10th, 77% in 12th and 62% in B.Tech?

Well, your academics are good and your CAT percentile is decent for a call from UBS. However, since it is a government college, the cutoff might vary. If you convert UBS, you have a moderate chances of converting MBA-IB and high chances of converting MBA-HR. All the best for the upcoming days.

Well, you have moderate chances of getting a call for IB but you have high chances for getting a call for HR. All the best.

Can I get admission with 93.33 percentile in CAT 2016? What is its fee and how is its placement?

Yes, you stand chances with this percentile. Also, its fees is within Rs 2 lakhs overall. Average placements are upto Rs 6-8 lakhs. Overall, it a good college with good ROI as well. Wish you all the best!
