Students of CSE and ECE branches in the college were provided with good placements, but students of biotechnology and mechanical branch were not given good placements.

Average college experience with decent academics, basic facilities, and limited campus activities.

Placements: Some students got placements. The average package is also too low. All 3rd and 4th-year students said there is no placement. 1 or 2 students got a package of 11 LPA or 12 LPA. I don't see any craze-type structure in placements. No big giants like Google and Amazon visit here.

Infrastructure: The overall infrastructure and facilities are below average around 2/5. Classrooms and labs are functional but need improvement. Wi-Fi connectivity is consistent and library resources are limited. Hostel facilities are basic, and mess facilities are decent.

Faculty: The teachers are qualified and knowledgeable but the problem is that they explain only 1 time. Some teachers are also rude and have some ego issues when approached. Teaching quality is average and sometimes they take extra classes to cover the syllabus. The curriculum is relevant but can include some practical and industry-focused learning. Semester exams are moderately difficult.

Other: I chose this course because of my interest in the field and my rank according to JEE. There is no option. The best part is the core subjects and learning experience. Campus life is average with a few events and some activities. Connectivity is decent and scholarships are good.

A good college in terms of ROI and rank.

Placements: Nearly 40% of students get placed. The highest, average, and lowest packages vary from year to year. In recent years, the highest package is 12 LPA, the average package is 4 LPA, and the minimum package is 3 LPA. Companies such as BEL (PSU), Infosys, JSW, and some local companies visit the campus for recruitment. Students with good or even average conceptual understanding get internship opportunities, and the internship rate is close to 100%.

Infrastructure: There are some hostels with Wi-Fi, while others do not have Wi-Fi. Labs are in good to average condition depending on the branch, but the basic requirements are met. The departmental library is not well developed due to infrastructure limitations and limited stock. But it is expected to improve over time. The hostel is excellent for its price range. Although there are occasional compromises in the quality of mess food.

Faculty: Some teachers are very helpful, not only with academics but also with innovation and student ideas. Exams can be quite challenging in certain situations. Students need both knowledge and the confidence to express their answers well to avoid backlogs. The courses are relevant and provide a good foundation, but advanced learning largely depends on the student's own efforts.

Other: All types of clubs, value for money as per ROI, and good opportunities to build connections.

The infrastructure is average, as expected from a government university.

Placements: I am pursuing a B.Tech in CSE (AI & ML). I have recently completed my first year here. Our seniors get placements with packages up to 21 LPA. Companies like Infosys visit the campus for recruitment. The campus placement opportunities are decent.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and a library are available on campus. Hostels are also available with decent mess food and good accommodation facilities. A university market is present on campus. Sports facilities, a medical dispensary, a gym, a reading room, a common room, and hostel mess facilities are all available.

Faculty: The courses are relevant to the curriculum. Semester exams are neither very easy nor very difficult. They are based on the subjects being taught. Teachers are qualified, although they are not always very helpful. Course contains subjects that are directly related to the field of study. Python, C, & Java are covered in the syllabus. As I am in 1st year, the C language is in my curriculum.

Other: Extracurricular activities are regularly conducted. Various events are organized to provide students with exposure and opportunities beyond academics.

It's just okay, as the infrastructure of the campus is really good and clean.

Placements: As my batch is the senior-most batch, this branch came in 2023, and I am in my third year. This review is very genuine. If you want to know the truth, placements are really low, probably 1-2 students get placed in the upcoming, but not more than that. So placements are a negative point of the college. Also, placements in mechanical engineering are very good, but other branches have very low placements.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very basic, so we have one small building for all courses of engineering, and mechanical engineering has separate building. So, infrastructure can be a plus point if you want to enjoy college life.

Faculty: Faculty is just okay, but we have no attendance policy. They say that, but if you attended classes more than 5 then you will have no problems. Exams also happen. At the end of sem our college gives too much backlogs to students and charges Rs. 2000 for the exam.

Other: My course can be a sort of food option, as we have electrical and computer engineering, so you could go into both fields.

Best for students in Haryana.

Placements: Kurukshetra University is situated in Haryana and this university is best for both placement and studies. There are many facilities available in this college so the students can perform well in placement. The highest package of this university is 60 LPA and the lowest package of this University is 7 LPA. There are many well-known tech and non-tech companies that visit this college every year. These companies are HCL, Coforge, Microsoft, etc.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this course is best suited for the students. Every year there are many facilities available in this university for the students like all-time Wi-Fi facilities for the students, fully air-conditioned classrooms which are best for the students. The library is also very good and provides a calm and clean environment. There are many hostels available in this college so the students live together with love and happiness. Medical facilities are also available.

Faculty: The faculty of this college is very kind and supportive. They help students in every aspect. They are highly knowledgeable and highly qualified. The course curriculum provided by this college is relevant for the students in one semester. This makes the students industry-ready. There are many exams organised in this university for the students so they perform well in their sessional examinations. At least 60 percent is required for passing.

Other: There are many fests and events organised in this university for the students and faculty.

About decent academics but with average infrastructure.

Placements: Placements are decent here. CSE and ECE students get better opportunities with an average package of 4 LPA - 5 LPA, while core branches have fewer options. One has to work hard to get good and better opportunities. Basically, they have to focus on their skills a lot.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is simple and decent. Labs and library are good, and classrooms are basic like they are mostly non-AC. Hostel facilities are just average. The facilities provided are not very modern, but they are sufficient for academic needs.

Faculty: Faculty members here are very knowledgeable. They are quite experienced. They are generally supportive and teach very well, though the teaching style of each and every faculty member differs from one another. The course is mainly theory-based and follows the university syllabus. Exams are semester-based and are fair, but it requires regular study.
