It is an affordable college with supportive faculty, but it needs better placement opportunities.
Placements: 40-60% is the on-campus placement rate, depending on the branch and year. The average package is 4.0 LPA. The top recruiting companies include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, JCB, Tata Steel, etc. Top roles offered are technical support engineer, data analyst, web developer, software developer, etc.
Infrastructure: The department has decent classrooms, labs, library access, and Wi-Fi access. But some lab equipment is outdated and not working. Wi-Fi is available in some labs. The library has books related to courses. The food in the hostel mess is not so good, and there is room for improvement in all areas.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful and knowledgeable. Semester exams are moderately challenging. The course curriculum is somewhat relevant but not fully industry-ready. It covers core concepts well, but lacks practical exposure and modern tools used in industry.
Other: I chose this course because it matches my interests and has good career opportunities.

It is ideal for self-motivated students looking for an affordable B.Tech option.
Placements: I'm from the B.Tech Computer Science batch of 2021-2025 at Siet Nilokheri. In our batch, around 65-70% of students got placed, mostly through off-campus drives or personal efforts, as the on-campus placement support is still developing. The highest package offer is around 6 LPA, the average is approximately 3.5 LPA, and the lowest is 2.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: Our CSE department is equipped with well-maintained labs with Wi-Fi. The library is decent, with access to many academic journals. The hostel facilities are satisfactory, though not luxurious. Rooms are well ventilated, and basic furniture is provided. The mess food is average with a fixed weekly menu.
Faculty: Most faculty members in our department are experienced, helpful, and knowledgeable. They are always willing to support students only in the classroom through mentorship and guidance. Exams are moderately difficult and follow a mix of theory and practical assignments.

Review of State Institute of Engineering and Technology, Nilokheri.
Placements: I am a second-year student and last year few students got internships in Wipro and small companies. The minimum package is 4.5 LPA. The maximum package is 10 LPA. 30-40% of students get internships and not more. This is possible when teachers make us practice in labs so that we can perform well in interviews.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is okay. It has adaptable labs and hardworking teachers. Wi-Fi is also available and food quality is okay in the hostel. We have a proper mess with tables and sufficient chairs. There is a ground in the hostel for games. Medical facilities are not proper but okay.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and kind. They teach us deeply so that we will perform well in the GATE exam. Teachers role in making students enough to get ready for industry is sufficient and appropriate. The semester exam level is medium, not easy, and not more difficult. The passing mark is 30 out of 75.
Other: Actually, I want to become an engineer in the IT sector, so I chose this department. This college was recommended by my cousin and he was placed in a company from this college. The college should improve the guest faculty members. Freshers and fests are also held in this college at a proper time and day in students' comfort zones.

Review of State Institute of Engineering and Technology, Nilokheri.
Placements: Many students had taken admission in my course. The highest package goes up to 10 LPA. Many companies visited for recruitment. Approximately 80% of students got internships in many companies.
Infrastructure: Facilities were really well. Infrastructure was also good and maintained. It provided a clean hostel, and quality of mess was good. But food was quite tough to accept. But rest of the things were good. Enjoy your hostel life and focus on studies. Security was also so much good.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The pass percentage was good.

This college is exactly situated in Nilokheri.
Placements: 20% of students are placed from here. It is approximately 2.4 Lacs per annum. Tata, L&T, and other local companies. 50% according to their trade. In this institute, internship opportunities are self-found by students themselves. There are no job recruitments provided by the college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is average. There is Wi-Fi only in the library. They have labs, but the machines are not working. Yes, a small canteen. The girls' hostel is good. The boys' hostel is not good. In this college, trips and lab equipment are not conducted for a product table condition.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful and enough qualified to teach the students professionally. The teaching quality is very good. Yes, it makes the students ready for industrial work as well. The exam is not difficult, but the exam checking is very hard, conducted by the University.
Other: I chose this because it is a government college and affiliated with Kurukshetra University. Yes, this college has a feeling of hostel life, but less compared to other colleges.

It's okay, but I didn't find anything special.
Placements: About 50% students were placed with an average package of 40,000 per month, which was not worth it. I was expecting more, but now I have quit that job and joined another, which is more beneficial for me. According to my results and efforts, it is sufficient, and now I am satisfied.
Infrastructure: There are Wi-Fi but not working mostly. Labs are there but not that good. Classrooms are good, big, and clean. They are good there. There was also a library which was also good. The hostel was very good. I enjoyed it and my hostel life was also good. The mess was clean but the food was the worst .
Faculty: Teachers were not helpful. They were highly qualified and experienced but not good for students. The course was relevant, but no student was focused. Semesters were very hard to clear, and the pass percentage was very low in all the years. I hardly passed.
