It is an outstanding college to take admission in science.
Placements: This college is known for its reputation in Odisha generally for science. Botany is the top demanded subject after Physics. The average percentage you need is around 85% to get admission. The course package is basically pocket-friendly. There is a great demand for botany students in forestry, Nurseries & Microbiological labs all over Odisha. Some of the top companies hiring students are OUAT, NABARD Odisha, forest department, etc.
Infrastructure: There are vast facilities for a student. You will get highly experienced lecturers and lab facilities. There are two different libraries in the college. One is a general library for all students and another one is our exclusive botany library so, there is no problem to get such quality books. A digital classroom facility is also available. But there is a glitch, as there is no hostel facility available for boys inside the campus. There are hostels only for girls. But no need to worry about that, you will find such great boys mess near the college. All kinds of sports are available for both boys and girls. There is also a canteen on the campus, where foods are nutritionally rich & tasty too.
Faculty: You will get highly experienced faculty members here. They are friendly to students. You can share any of your doubts with them without any hesitation. Botany has a great demand in professional lines. The exams are of extreme level, you have to work hard to achieve success. As top students are studying in the college, so the pass percentage is around 98%.
Other: As it is among the top science colleges in Odisha, I have always dreamed of this one. I chose this course because it was my favorite subject since my school days. You can choose your favorite subjects here. The college also focuses on students' extracurricular activities. There are annual sports, NCC camps, indoor activities like quizzes, chess, and many more things available. In our botany, there are also field study tours, where you can travel different naturally diverse parts of India and learn some great things live.
