 UPES Dehradun offers over 72 courses at the UG, PG and PhD levels through nine schools and UPES Centre for Continuing Education (CCE). The courses are offered in multiple streams like Engineering, Management, Science, Business, etc. The university conducts its own entrance exams like UPESMET, UPESMET UG, UPESPAT, etc. for providing admission to specific courses. Apart from these, UPES Dehradun also accepts national-level entrance exams like CAT, MAT, XAT, CUET UG, NEET, JEE Main, etc. Candidates after completing Class 12 can apply for UG courses. A minimum of graduation is required for PG courses. 

Yes, UPES - Experience Centre conducts UPESMET for aspirants who did not appear or secured the required marks in CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, NMAT, CUET PG or GMAT exams. UPESMET is an online entrance exam conducted for a duration of 2.5 hours. Check below the exam pattern for UPESMET:

UPES-Experience Centre admissions are done based on entrance exam scores. The college offers various courses at the UG and PG levels. Students must complete Class 12 for UG courses and graduation for PG courses. 

UPES - Experience Centre provides various modern and advanced facilities for students. The university has modern classrooms, hostel, and provides various other facilities for undergraduate and postgraduate students. UPES - Experience Centre has modern conference halls, canteen, and offers transportation and various other modern facilities for undergraduate and postgraduate students.

Admission to UPES - Experience Centre can vary in difficulty depending on the chosen admission pathway. There are three options available: UPSEAT (which covers 80% of seats), Board marks (for which exceptional scores are required), and JEE Main marks for All India seats. If you are aiming for admission through UPSEAT, it's generally considered more competitive, and you should aim for a rank of at least 600 in the exam to increase your chances of securing a spot at the college. The difficulty level of admission can also be influenced by factors such as the number of applicants and the specific programme you are applying to. UPES - Experience Centre faculty are PhD, degree, and Diploma holders. The centre also arranges guest lectures, student and faculty exchange programmes. UPES - Experience Centre also arranges conferences and various seminars for students and teachers. UPES - Experience Centre has experienced and professional faculty members. 

The UPES Admission Office is not a department for studying but rather a administrative unit responsible for handling admissions-related processes and inquiries from prospective students. Therefore, you do not study within the Admission Office itself.

No, the UPES - Experience Centredoes not accept the MAT score for MBA admissions. On the other hand, the UPES School of Business does accept the MAT score, with a minimum eligible MAT/CMAT 2024 score of 70 percentile exempting students from the UPES Management Entrance Test. Therefore, if you have a MAT score and are considering applying for an MBA at UPES, the School of Business would be the appropriate choice for your application.
