Review of Vasant Kanya Mahavidyalaya.

Placements: Placements here are quite decent, especially if we belong to professional or technical fields. Companies do come for recruitment drives, but for pure academic courses, options are limited. The placement cell arranges seminars, training sessions, and career counselling. Students also tend to go for higher education or prepare for competitive exams.

Infrastructure: The campus is a good blend of tradition and modern facilities. Libraries have enough resources, labs are updated, and classrooms are properly maintained. Hostels are simple but manageable. The mess food is budget-friendly. Basic medical help is available on the campus. Overall, it offers a supportive environment for studies.

Faculty: Professors are cooperative and open to clearing doubts both inside and outside class. They encourage participation instead of one-way teaching. Attendance rules are strict but fair. Exams are usually not very tough. Regular study is enough to do well. The academic culture pushes students towards discipline as well as learning.

Review of Banaras Hindu University-affiliated Vasant Kanya Mahavidyalaya.

Placements: I don't know about the placement process as my course is not eligible for direct placement, it is possible only when we pursue higher education in the subject, and I can only get placement in teaching background and all. This college is mainly for the highest-level studies programs like languages, main literature, and subjects. This college doesn't provide any engineering or management degrees, so it doesn't have facilities.

Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure of the college, the classrooms, the library, and everything are very well facilitated. Students are very comfortable on the campus, and the infrastructure is beautiful. It is well-painted and designed in a spacious way. I enjoyed my experience at this college. The food available is also very good, and the medical facilities and force are also good.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and qualified. They are well-educated, they know everything about the course, they are very friendly, and they solve our queries in seconds. This course makes the students industry-ready, and the difficulty of the semester exam at this college is not very hard, one can pass the exam by studying only one week before the exam.

Other: I chose this course because I was interested in English literature. I thought that this course would help me in my future higher studies. The best thing about the scores is that we get to know the history and overall literature of the subject. There is nothing that can be improved in this course, even campus cloud connectivity, everything is great, the scholarship we get UP scholarship here.

Good luck with your studies and other activities.

Placements: My course was not related to placement. I was in the English Department, so in my college, there were no courses for my major. For other courses like foreign languages, they have an average package which is around 8-10 Lacs. Courses like IIT and MBA have a good package.

Infrastructure: Labs are available, and the library is also available. The Wi-Fi network is only available in some parts of the campus. The canteen used to be clean. The food is of okay quality. Sports and games used to happen on a monthly and annual basis. Medical facilities are not in proper condition.

Faculty: Teachers are good. They are very supportive. Teachers had good knowledge of their field. They were like friends to us, and the course was also interesting. This course also has good career options. The semester used to be of an easy to moderate level. The passing percentage is 40%.

Other: I was interested in the English literature field. The college can provide smart classes for our courses.

Review of Vasant Kanya Mahavidyalaya and its infrastructure.

Placements: I am a student of B.A. (Hons) English. No placements are offered to us, but there are many unpaid internships available while completing our graduation. There are no placements offered to Arts students. Only internships are provided by local NGOs, and those are also unpaid. However, there is a VKM placement cell available in the college, so they sometimes help students.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of VKM is good, and all facilities are available according to the standards of a government college. I am a local student, so I don't have much idea about the hostel, but it seems good. The buildings are in good condition with 24/7 Wi-Fi and lighting. The staff is also very friendly.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and well-qualified. They are always ready to assist. The exams are conducted for 100 marks, out of which internals are 30 marks and externals are 70 marks. No cheating is allowed. You only need to follow the previous year’s papers, as most of the questions come from them, and attend the classes. Teachers teach according to the exams. The level of the exam is not very hard. You can pass it by studying 2-3 days before the exam and attending regular classes.

Other: I chose English Hons because I want to make my career in language.

College has good infrastructure and facilities, with helpful faculty member

Placements: There are few placements in my course, but various students don't know about it. And if you get selected for placement, you get ₹15,000 per month (average salary). Students are oftenly placed in the teaching sector but can get jobs in the banking sector and corporate sector too.

Infrastructure: College infrastructure is good, featuring eight habitable hostels with Wi-Fi, mess, 24/7 water and electricity facilities. The food quality is also good, and laundry facilities are available for hostellers. The college has a canteen, and sports competitions are held annually with participation from various universities and colleges.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, supportive, and highly qualified. The course curriculum makes you ready for future competitions. Semester exams are a bit difficult, but with good guidance and studies, you can qualify it as the passing percentage is only 33%.

Other: College boasts good infrastructure with eight habitable hostels offering Wi-Fi, mess, 24/7 water and electricity, good food quality, and laundry facilities for hostellers, alongside a canteen and annually held sports competitions with inter-university participation; the teachers are very helpful, supportive, and highly qualified, and while semester exams are a bit difficult, the course curriculum prepares students for future competitions, and a 33% passing percentage makes qualification achievable with good guidance; choosing English as an honors course provides worldwide knowledge with a nice faculty, though incorporating technology like projectors would enhance clarity, and the college hostel actively organizes events such as Sarjana, Udaan, and the Annual Fest, offering financial support through various initiatives and scholarships.

The infrastructure is really good.

Placements: I don't know much about these, but our seniors talk about the placement cell VKM. The staff is very supportive and helps a lot with placements. The Home Science department also provides various courses for your development and secure future, like the fashion designing course.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, library, reading room, computer lab, and large ventilated classrooms are available. A common room, painting room, and music department (vocal and instrumental) are also available here. Every department has its own Wi-Fi, and you can connect to it.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified from BHU itself, and the teaching quality is amazing. The course curriculum is also very relevant. Pass percentage varies from subject to subject, and semester exams are not easy. Question papers are set in a way that supports your overall development and checks your knowledge of every topic.

Other: The best thing about my course is that I am very interested in it, and our professors are also very supportive. The only thing I want to improve is the marking scheme, as our professors check copies very strictly, and we get marks lower than expected. Many events and extracurricular activities are organized in this college. Like the Madam Blavatsky Volleyball Tournament, Mary Kom Kabaddi Tournament, Chess Tournament, and many other sports activities. Along with cultural events like Sarjana and Spandan, and so on.

All can say it's good to have chances of placement.

Placements: Less students get placement but it is affiliated with the colleges of BHU. All get BHU certificate or degree that is great. There is an offer from college to go and do an internship for better work experience for students for their future, and that helps students to get confidence.

Infrastructure: All facilities are available but sometimes they are low quality. Food quality is good. Wi-Fi is not frequently available. Sports day and function engage all students and teachers. There is too much engagement of people and crowds visiting to see sports.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful and give suggestions to students to do what makes them feel more confident and give support to their studies. Exams are little tough. There are only 40 out of 100 passing marks for students to pass their exam.

Other: All is good here.
