Totally satisfied with its fee, facilities, and quality of education.
Placements: Generally, you don't get any type of placement after completing a Bachelor of Arts from any university or college, but you get the environment that helps you do better in future. English department of BHU doesn't offer any type of placement, but it provides guidance for the future.
Infrastructure: It has an average infrastructure, though after renovation, the infrastructure quality has now improved a lot. We are provided with Wi-Fi facilities there, as Wi-Fi spreads all around the campus with a good internet connection. For the library, you can either go to UG library of faculty of arts or the central library. BHU is known for its campus life, with an area of around 1300 acres. Greenery is found everywhere on the campus. You are going to get everything there.
Faculty: Faculty members are well-qualified and experienced. They are very knowledgeable in their particular subjects. Exams are conducted twice a year with a good level of question papers, but you don't get marks according to your answers. It is good in the right sense.

Very Nice Environment and Curriculum, Also Helped to Grow in Terms of Education and Knowledge.
Placements: Almost everyone who sat for the placement interview was placed and had a great opportunity to interact with companies. The highest package was around 3 CR, and the lowest was somewhere around 7-8 Lacs. Top roles were in marketing, SDE, and finance, with a few good roles, especially in the market.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of my course was quite impressive, where I got to learn many things that not only enriched my knowledge in the field but were also useful in day-to-day life. The hostels in our college were very comfortable in terms of facilities and food, so it was a great decision for me to study there.
Faculty: The faculty was very nice towards each of us, and the student-to-professor ratio was very good, with everyone being satisfied. The curriculum was also great and diversified, covering almost everything related to the course and day-to-day life that we needed to learn and know.

The college is overwhelming and good. Just need to work on infrastructure and administration part.
Placements: Till now I had not heard about the placement on the campus but I'm for sure that placements could be achieved from English Hons here. Since it is the most demanding course in the faculty of arts anywhere by having a good set of students and peers and also a good learning environment .
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is really poor both of the faculty and hostel. The toilets are devastating and the faculty rooms are not neat and clean and also poorly maintained. You need to rethink before coming here if you need better accommodation and a well-maintained college.
Faculty: The professors are really nice and the peer you get here is awesome and by the time it continues to provide many opportunities for you. You will learn new things here; a lot of skills could be inherited and the exams are not hard; it's easy.
Other: You would get mixed crowd here.

English Hons. at Banaras Hindu University.
Placements: There are no placement opportunities in English Hons. There is no option of going for corporate here. Also, you cannot go for internships. Nowadays, there are many clubs which you can join to polish your skills. The placement process is very bad. Don't think that you will get any job offers after doing your Bachelors.
Infrastructure: The hostel facility and classrooms are very good. The college has good infrastructure and an environment for studying. There is greenery along with a quiet environment. It feels nice to be her and the classrooms are spacious. The hostels have good rooms, and it feels good. Also, the hostel surroundings have birds and peacocks, which feels very nice.
Faculty: The curriculum is good and relevant. The course was very tough but helpful. The professors are very qualified. I absolutely loved their teaching. Their teaching method is very nice. The exams are not that tough. You can easily get good marks. You will grasp the concept well.
Other: Overall, the experience is very good. You will enjoy your time here. The city, the university, everything is amazing.

Banaras Hindu University
Placements: 70% students were placed in my course. Approximately 9 LPA was the highest, 5 LPA the average, and 3 LPA is the lowest package offered in my course. 80 to 90 percent students got internships. In my course, I think roles such as translator, journalism, and writers are famous and popular.
Infrastructure: My university provides its students a central library and a cyber library for the convenience of students in study. Wi-Fi is also provided by the university for all students, and classrooms are in good condition, but the infrastructure is a bit ancient in some hostels and classrooms. The university gives free medical services to students. Now, I am in LBS hostel of BHU, and this is the best hostel for first-year students. But my mess condition is very poor.
Faculty: Yes, professors are very helpful and qualified from various universities and also knowledgeable. The teaching quality is average, not so good. In my course, the curriculum is a must for students, and this course prepares students for their future in any field. In my college, semester exams are not so difficult and hard. Till now, I have not given a single exam.
Other: I didn't choose my course, but actually, I had to choose it because there was no other option for me. In my college, the relationship between juniors and seniors is good, and seniors are helpful. Events take place in my university once in 6 months.

The college has good infrastructure and facilities, a place that is still orthodox.
Placements: Placement after a B.A. in English from the BHU main campus is very low to none, less than 3%. However, a lot of workshops are conducted, participation in which increases the chances of internships for some groups, mostly non-profit organizations. A few students did get internships in NGOs, but you have to be very actively participating in that. Most of the students like to continue their studies for a master's degree.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite satisfactory. Classrooms are a bit old but big enough to seat the students in the class. Sometimes different periods are held in classrooms in different buildings. Wi-Fi is available for students. You just have to get registered a few days after your admission. Every faculty has its library, and there are the Central Library and Cyber Library. The classrooms are getting remodeled internally right now. In the hostel, the quality of food is satisfactory, but it is not too good. Free medical facilities are also available. There are gyms and sports fields here.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful. They do want you to show initiative. If you want help regarding something beyond the course, you'll get it. The course is very tightly prepared. It is mostly about giving a strong foundation so that the students do not have to suffer through any problem in the future, especially in the course of the final year. The exams are quite tough here. Questions are asked in a way to evoke critical thinking in the internals. Semester exams mirror those usually. The pass percentage is 40%, but there are also the provisions of 4 race marks. Edit
Other: Choosing this course is more about securing a strong branch of studies that doesn't close off the chances of jobs in other fields. Also, the study curriculum (especially the new one) is very interactive. However, the capacity of the hostel should be increased, and the participation of professors could be increased in student clubs and events. The connectivity among students and teachers is very active. Queries are dealt with promptly by the professors. However, the office work is quite slow. You have to go to the office to get your work done. It is a strong Indian college.

College is good, but needs infrastructure development and more exposure.
Placements: I don’t know much about this yet as I’m just a fresher, but it’s not good for B.A. Hons English students. They don’t get campus recruitment or placements. Also, the B.A. degree is not really respected here. The university really needs to put in more effort to enhance skills.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for the course is good but needs maintenance because the buildings are very dirty. About the hostel, there are very few girls’ hostels. I’m 1200 km away from home and still haven’t got a hostel allotted. Also, the hostels are in very bad condition and need repair.
Faculty: The faculty is good. Professors are highly qualified professionals and are really helpful. The course is good, but the thing about the minor is not good. That is not at all relevant to our major. It wastes time and gives unnecessary stress.
Other: The course is good, but the NEP syllabus, where we have to study minor, MDC, VAC, and SEC, is totally absurd. We spend more time studying them than our major. About the minor, there must be an option to change it if not satisfied.
