No hostel facility and good placements are much recommended for day scholars.
Placements: I am a student of 2025. There is around a 73 percent placement rate in our course, and also the famous recruiting companies from Core ECE are Silicon Labs, Oracle, Deloitte, etc. The top roles we do have are minor in CSE AI ML, Mechanical, Civil, and honors in SOC (System of Chip Designing). The highest package is 42 LPA and the lowest is 4 LPA per annum. The average package is 8 LPA.
Infrastructure: The biggest disadvantage of our college is that there is no hostel facility. The classrooms are good and the labs are also good. We do have a separate block for ECE and EEE, where there are several labs and classrooms. The block is really big enough so that all the labs, placement cells, and classrooms are there. Coming to the college area, it's really not much bigger than our campus, which is 12-13 acres. We do have enough college buses for day scholars. We have a canteen and a cafeteria, and the cost is also affordable. There are also sports and indoor games available.
Faculty: The faculty is good enough and the syllabus changes every year according to industry standards. The staff is well-qualified and cares about students. The exams are also good enough it's not too tough to pass. The faculty is also very caring and good, and there is also a mentoring system to motivate the students every month.
Other: I am very interested in the core ECE department. I am very enthusiastic about the defence sector mostly in Radar and Communication Systems. This is the only course that balances both hardware and software. I think the improvement must be done through more research. Our college has many events mostly technical ones which balance both academic and industrial requirements. There is also one big 3-day cultural fest in our college, which is Euphoria which will be in April where can enjoy a lot. Also our college also provides financial support for those who need it in terms of hostel fees and maintenance too.

It is a good college for those who want to focus on their studies and their career.
Placements: Placements are good, and students who have a high CGPA have more chances of getting internships if they do well. They are recruited by the same company. Here, companies like Service Now, Oracle, Cisco, Amazon, and Flipkart recruit students. Internship starts from the 3rd year.
Infrastructure: There is no hostel in the college, so we have to stay outside the campus. The mess food is average or maybe above average. The canteen is average. The infrastructure is good, though the class lags a bit in terms of neatness, as the college is more than 30 years old. The canteen and other empty spaces should be maintained well.
Faculty: Studies are top-notch. Faculty members help a lot when it comes to studies, and lab sessions are conducted every week. Teachers here are well-qualified, experienced, and friendly. Semester exams are moderate (depends on person to person), and sometimes, they may be difficult.
Other: The college has one main event, which is held every year. This is the only event we have here. There are clubs, like MUN, Silicon Synopses, etc.

Vasavi College of Engineering.
Placements: The 2nd reason I joined this college is because of its outstanding placements. All the good companies take a pick from this college. There are about 60+ students in each class. Top recruits might be L&T and other civil engineering companies in Hyderabad.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. The buildings for the classroom are all good. There is not a lot of space for sports. There are two buildings, which are the oldest, and they are of the branches CIV and MECH, as they were the first main courses. All others are new.
Faculty: The teaching quality is excellent apart from a few unnecessary courses. The course curriculum is relevant and makes the students industry-ready. The semester exam paper is on a good level, and even the invigilation is strict. The pass percentage is 40%.

It has absolutely good labs with good faculty.
Placements: About 80-85 percent of people got placements in our college. Top recruiting companies like Google, TCS, Qualcomm, IBM, Visa, etc., will visit our college for our course. HR roles and manager roles are offered by many companies for students. About 60-70 percentage students got an internship.
Infrastructure: We don't have Wi-Fi in the classes, but the labs and classrooms are good, and they keep hygiene daily. We have a big library. We don't have a big ground in our college. Canteen food is good, and medical facilities are also available in our college. Our college has less preference for sports.
Faculty: Teachers are well educated and have great knowledge of the subject they are teaching. Our course curriculum is very good and makes students to follow the curriculum to study for exams. The semester exams are moderate to tough level. 65 percent is the pass percentage.
Other: Actually, I want to go through Computer Science and Artificial intelligence but my EAMCET rank was not upto the cutoff rank for the CSE AIML course. Our college doesn't celebrates maximum number of fests.

Absolutely satisfied because of good placements, faculty, and good infrastructure.
Placements: Around 70-80% of students get placed overall. In the EEE branch, most placements are through software and service-based roles. Some students got core-related opportunities. The highest package offered in my branch is around 14 LPA by Amazon, mainly offered to students with strong coding and technical skills. The average package in my branch is around 5- 6 LPA, and the lowest package is about 3 LPA offered by Amazon. Companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Deloitte, Infosys, TCS, Wipro and IBM visit the campus. Internship opportunities are also available.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for my department is good and sufficient for learning. The college has well-equipped electrical labs, spacious classrooms, seminar halls, Wi-Fi and a central library with enough textbooks and reference materials, and we also have a digital library. We don't have a college hostel; students should stay in private hostels in Narsingi and Langer Houz, which are at a distance of 2 to 3km from the college. Food is below average in both places, but the maintenance of hostels is good in Narsingi. The quality of the food in the mess is average. Sports are conducted weekly once during the last period.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are well qualified, experienced and interactive when students ask doubts, but some of the faculty just read from the textbook and don't explain clearly. The curriculum is relevant and focuses on core electrical subjects. The semester exams are quite difficult. Practising weekly for 4 to 5 hours is enough. The pass percentage is about 85%.
Other: I chose this course because I am interested in electrical engineering and iam interested in government jobs. The best things about my course are the faculty who explain concepts clearly, as well as focus on placements, and another best thing is that the college mostly focuses on placements and studies. The only thing I didn't like in this college is that we won't get a mobile signal in the college, mainly for Jio SIM users, because the college is near a military area. We have many events like Bathukamma celebrations, traditional day, and the only event conducted in my college is Euphoria during April.

Good infrastructure. Better support for placements. Practical syllabus, supportive teachers.
Placements: My course is good. Almost 80-85% of students get placed, with an average package of 9 LPA. The highest package is 52 LPA, and the lowest package was around 4 LPA. Companies include ServiceNow, Oracle, Visa, S&P Global, Cisco, etc. For internships, 60% were placed. Since your college will prefer only summer internships or winter internships, there are fewer complaints during this duration. Top roles are software developer, Java developer, full stack developer, data analytics, and CISO.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. Don't expect a big campus. Since it is a tier 3 college, it's not that big. Classrooms are big enough, clean, and well-equipped. Labs are pretty good, and the computers are new. The college provides a library and a digital library for students. They can use these facilities until 6:40 PM. There is no college hostel.
Faculty: Teachers are good and have a minimum of 5 years of teaching experience. They are very supportive and don't hesitate while explaining doubts, etc. They are well-qualified. The syllabus is updated with current technology, and the subjects are mostly related to core computer subjects and coding languages. It prepares students for jobs. They even provide an honors degree, which has minimum criteria. Exams are of moderate level not too easy and not too hard. If a student has enough knowledge, they can easily pass and get a good score. The pass percentage is 40 marks out of 100 for each subject.
Other: I chose this course because I found coding very interesting, and I am interested in teaching and software roles. The best thing about this course is the good syllabus, good faculty, and helpful placement guidance. There are two fests, which last for four days. The campus crowd is about 3.5k to 4k. Scholarships are provided by the college, etc.
