Placements: 1. 75% of students were placed in our course.
2. The highest and the lowest salary is 25000.

Infrastructure: 1. the facilities and infrastructure are. There are Wi-Fi in our college to gain the knowledge. There are labs to know the methods of experiments. There are library to study the books,

Faculty: 1. our faculty are helpful and high-class teaching level and they are friendly. The teaching quality is excellent. I am proud to be the students of our faculty. My college is my temple and I also recommend to join in my college.

VCET is good from my side
Placements: The placement for mechanical is not so good but this time, Infosys, Royal Enfield and Indian Navy and some more companies offered 3 to 5 lack packages. But for other branches like computer science and EC, the placement is very good. More than 30 companies had visited last time. The internship for the mechanical branch is compulsory and all 5th-semester students are offered for the internship in many companies like HMT Bangalore, MRPL Mangalore and more.
Infrastructure: The campus has free WiFi facility and a library. But the library is lacking some books. Coming to the medical facility, all the Puttur hospitals are giving a 15% discount for the students on service and doctor charges. The sports committee is also good, and VCET is top in kabaddi and swimming. We won both events under VTU championship. The classroom is also good. But coming to the college canteen, it is not meeting students' requirements, but many hotels are available outside the campus. VCET boys' and girls' hostels are there and many students are happy with it. I haven't faced any infrastructure related issues.
Faculty: The faculty members have very good nature and have better knowledge of the subject. Yes they are really helpful to learn engineering. All the lecturers completed their M.Tech and some are Ph.D holders. The teaching method is as usual seminar type. For each branch, about 30-40 lecturers are there and students are 100-120 per course. Industry exposure is good because a VCET industry interaction cell is there through which many programmes are held. It is useful.
Other: The Vivekananda College is a well-cultured college and very good discipline is maintained inside the campus. But the fee compared to other engineering college VCET is 5 to 6,000 more. But they use that for students only like good programmes and workshops.

I am satisfied because of the infrastructure and the college is quite lenient in rules.
Placements: Placements for our batch are excellent. For the previous batch, it wasn't as good as ours. Around 25% of students were placed from our department. Companies like Bosch, Royal Enfield, Leecos Manufacturer, Eleation visit our campus. Engineering designations were offered. Almost 100% of students get internships and don't expect any stipend. There is a placement cell and it is highly useful.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, classrooms, libraries, and sports games are good. The quality of classrooms is also good and labs are not up to the mark. The quality of food available in the canteen is poor. Hostel rooms are good. I have faced a few infrastructure problems. The fans are not working properly.
Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful but only thing is that most of them are very young and they lack experience. Most of the faculty members do not have industrial exposure. Few are very lazy and few don't care about the students. Some have very little knowledge of the subject.
Other: Events do take place in the college but there is no inter-college fest. Annual day and a few other tests take place which is helpful for students. VCET provides excellent scholarships.
