Overall a good college for study perspective. Placement and other activities need improvement.

Placements: Placement in this college needs improvement. The college isn't directly tied up to any MNC or reputed company for placements. The students gets placed through off campus recruitment conducted by MNCs like tcs, infosys, tech mahindra. The company which has tie up with the college offers very low package 2-2.4lpa. Proper placement classes aren't provided from the start to help the student be ready for placement. But the teachers are helpful in clarifying doubts pertaining to concepts. Few got internship and around 30% got placed in company.

Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure is above average and is good. Labs, classrooms, library are properly groomed. Hostel infrastructure is good but the rules for girls are stricter than boys which isn't fair. The food quality is not upto the mark. Medical facilities is minimum. Sports and games are given the least importance in this college.

Faculty: Teachers are the biggest strength of this college. They are well qualified, knowledgeable and damn helpful. The teaching quality is excellent. They make sure students understand the concepts properly. They discuss previous year question paper which boosts the confidence of the students. The semester exams becomes easy due to the amount of efforts put by each teacher. They give hand written notes, important questions with solutions, take doubt classes etc. Which is really great!

Other: I chose this course because I like computer science. The best thing about this course is that it don't contain boring theory like other subjects have. Its purely logical and learning is fun here. Scholarships are great in this college if you are bright student. Extra curricular activities are rare and not given much importance. Only studies are given utmost priority.

Trips before joining vidya academy of Science and technology technical campus kilimanoor.

Placements: In my class out of 35 students 10 students got placed in many companies some are reputed others startups. The starting package was rs 20,000 ranging upto rs 38,000. Companies such as tata, quest global, TCS, etc. Almost 10 out of 35 students got placed. Softeare develops UG testers backed develops etc. Are the job roles.

Infrastructure: The facilities were good the college provided with great facilities like 4 computer labs and two labs for our departmentand. I was not using the hostel facilities but I got friends that use college hostel the rooms and the ambience was also good but the food sometimes get bad.

Faculty: Teachers who taught me my subjects in my course where qualified they thought me well they know that subjects well. The teaching quality is was awesome I have no complain for the people taught my courses. The teaching makes the students industry ready the exams in the college are usually pretty difficult but we can easily commit due to the help of our teachers.

The famous Vidya academy of science and technology

Placements: Placements to higher positions. UST global Infosys TCS are some of the companies which provides placement for students My brother also completed his degree from the same college and got placed at UST global Placement cell guides us through the entire procedure

Infrastructure: WiFi library and classrooms. High tech lab facilities and well maintained hostel and mess all the students are happy to be a part of our vidya family Especially the food served in the mess is finger licking good and doesn?t compromise in quality they are very cautious regarding hygiene

Faculty: All the staff?s are friendly and well educated with experience they guides us throughout the semester and helps us to ace our semester exams with good grades. They provide us with previous year question paper and be with us and helps is to solve them
