VCET life is happening if you find the right people and network with the right faculty.
Placements: The placement rate of my branch is 60%-80%. The average package for the academic year 24-25 was 3.78 LPA. Recently, a third-year (T. E. ) student got placed in Perplexity with a 1.06 crore package, which the college is milking the *** out of. Students very rarely get any internships from college. Most students use their own connections to get their first internship, which is, to be honest, very fair up to a certain level.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure can be called decent. There are accessible washrooms on every floor. Recently, 2 more lifts were built, making a total of 5 lifts on the campus. Wi-Fi is available in each classroom, but that's no good. It does not have the strength to handle the traffic. The speed is so slow. The library is accessible during its allotted time (8 A.M. to 8 P.M. ), but often you can find it shutting early and opening late. The Wi-Fi is available even in the library. The canteen is ***. The contractor is a grumpy couple. There is a high price for low food quality.
Faculty: The faculty is excellent. Teachers are very knowledgeable in their fields and are very reliable for any support. The teaching style is not very exciting, but if you focus sincerely, it will surely help. The course is not very reliable in general in today's times. Being industry-ready depends on individual to individual. But relying on college and teachers will never help. The college has just received the autonomous status and will be implemented from the next semester, so the exams are still conducted under Mumbai University status, and the difficulty is moderate.
Other: I always aspire to work in the tech field, and I took the first opportunity I saw coming my way. College life is somewhat fun with various events happening all the time. The annual fest of the college happens in January every year. The college is very supportive of any extracurricular activities that students wish to participate in. The college encourages students to apply for government-provided scholarships. The crowd is decent and 90% Marathi speaking students.

Master of Management Studies (MMS) - Batch of 2027

Best college, and overall experience is excellent.
Placements: Our college provides us with a proper placement procedure, and they make sure we get jobs in reputed companies. Fair percentage placed mainly in sales, HR, marketing, and operations roles. Top recruiters are mid-level companies offering average packages with great experiences.
Infrastructure: We have good infrastructure, like classrooms with AC, an IT lab, a canteen, a sports room, a great library, and a very good environment that motivates us to perform well. We don't have any hostel facilities in our college, as all students travel from their places.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified, helpful, and have good knowledge of their subjects. They explain concepts clearly and are supportive when students need guidance, making the overall teaching quality satisfactory. They don't only teach theoretical concepts but also practical ones.

There are no good placement opportunities here, but infrastructure has improved, and food is good.
Placements: Placements are not up to the mark. Packages are low, and local companies visit to offer only sales positions for all departments. Internship is provided to all at companies like Angel One, Samco, and Sujan Industries, with positions offered in the sales department, finance department, and HR department.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi strength is not strong, but the canteen is quite good. The computer lab has a few non-working PCs, and is not always open for all. The library is accessible to all, with a majority of books available. The sports room has 3-4 indoor games and has strict timing.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is somewhat relevant. Semesters are quite easy, but it requires a minimum of 40% of total marks to pass the semester. The course curriculum somewhat exposes students to real-life industry work.

The college is very decent, and the infrastructure and faculty they provide are also very good.
Placements: The exact percent I don't know, but the last time I heard from my branch, only around 10-15 students were placed. The highest from campus only went around 18 LPA, and the lowest would be the same as the average, around 3-4 LPA. The top recruiters are from Infosys and TCS, and also Capgemini too came to my college, and Contentstack is also there.
Infrastructure: The facilities the college provides are decent, like centralized AC labs and classrooms that also have ACs. The library section is very good, and the PCs and the books in the library are also well-conditioned. They also provide Wi-Fi facilities, and the Wi-Fi bandwidth and frequency are also very strong.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, and somewhat the faculty are qualified, in my opinion. The knowledge they provide is very helpful, and the teaching quality is decent. If we talk about the semester exam, it's also challenging, but the pass percentage is also very decent, like out of 180, mostly 150 students get passed. If we talk about being industry-ready, I'm not sure about that.
Other: The events and fests in the college are very amusing. I have personally enjoyed the events and fests; they are the best they provide. Apart from the main events, the other committees also present events like hackathons and one-day coding competitions.

Good infrastructure facilities in 2026 VCET.
Placements: About placement, this is not the right college to approach, to be honest. The placement rate is below average. The average package is 4-5 LPA. The highest packages are like 12-18 LPA, rarely. Campus placements are not worth it. There are good companies that do visit, like JP Morgan, Infosys, etc. Non-campus placements are really great, which were cracked by our third-year seniors. An example is one guy with a 1.6 crore package in perplexity. In the end, it depends on your knowledge and skills.
Infrastructure: The college is pretty good, to be honest. The college has developed its infrastructure. The college is looking really cool now. There are 5 total lifts, good Wi-Fi connectivity, and each classroom has 3-4 ACs. Good labs, a proper separate library building, a playing area, a good canteen, computer labs, and a digital library. Everything is new and in good condition.
Faculty: Now the college is under Mumbai University. Next year the college will be autonomous, i.e., from the academic year 2026-2027. The faculty is well experienced, and teaching is decent. Lectures are conducted properly, and the faculty has a good amount of knowledge. The teaching style is pretty good, and the faculty is supportive.
Other: CSEDS is definitely a good and interesting branch to study.

The college is good for the focused student. Teachers are also helpful.
Placements: 30-35% of students always get placed from my course, according to my college. The highest package of my course is 8 LPA, and the average package is 3-4 LPA. The lowest package is about nearly 1 LPA. It is so average. TCS, Infosys, HP, etc., are some of the recruiting companies for my course. Around 10-20% of students get internships from college, and other students try to get internships by themselves. Usually, TCS and some nominal companies give internships to the college students. Once a boy got the job of HR from my course.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is okay, not so good. There is Wi-Fi on the college campus, but the speed is not so good. The labs and classrooms are good and well-structured. There is no AC in classrooms except in faculty rooms and principal cabins. The library is also good for study. There is a good notice board available in the library. In short, the infrastructure is below average. There is no hostel available in my college. There is a canteen available, which is good. The taste of the food in the canteen is above average, and the quantity is also good.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and caring. They are well qualified and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is also relevant, so department faculty are helpful, which makes the students industry-ready like comp and civil, but others are not so good. The semester exams are of moderate level difficulty. All the papers of the semester are from Mumbai University, so there is much variation in the difficulty of papers. The passing percentage of the students is about 70-80% in difficult subjects like mechanics and BEE, and 80-90% in others.
Other: I chose the college because it was a good college for my percentage, and the college is good for the comp branch. The teaching skills of the teachers should be leveled up, and there must be a campus in the college. The events of the college are very good. There is a zeal event, which is one of the best events in Vashi, and the fests are also good, but there is no campus for the college. The campus crowd is also good and helpful. Seniors are also helpful, and there are scholarships available in college for OBC and other students.
