Placements: The lowest salary package offered is 10 LPA, and the highest salary package offered is 25 LPA. The best company that visits the college is Infosys. Students get internships based on their skills and activities in projects that are done during hackathons. We can improve our skills by doing hackathons, and students can also solve problems by attending these hackathon sessions. All students are teamed together to solving their problems and form team membership.
Infrastructure: The food is very good. The infrastructure is awesome. Facilities for women are very neat. The hostel is so clean. If we are sick, then there is a sick room, and when we are tired, we can go there and sleep for a few hours. The hostel is safe and very comfortable for students. Wi-Fi is available. The food is served by the hostelers, and it is very hygienic.
Faculty: Faculty members are good and very helpful. The pass percentage is 40 percent. They explain very clearly and without any hesitation. Faculty members are well-displained and very kind to students. Teachers will guide us in every situation. They maintain a friendly relationship with students.
Other: My aim is to get a government job, so I chose this path. I chose EEE because it has a core subject. I am very much interested in this core to gain more knowledge in electrical systems, so I chose electrical electronics engineering. We can also be eligible for government jobs like railways, steel plants, and industries.

Review of Vignan's Institute of Engineering for Women (VIEW Visakhapatnam).
Placements: In my college, a maximum of 50% of students get placed in my course. The highest package is 44 LPA, and the lowest package is 3 LPA. The average package ranges from 3.5-5 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course are Amazon, Infosys, NextWave, and Accenture. 60% of students get internships.
Infrastructure: In my college, we have some facilities like Wi-Fi, a library, and classrooms. We have so many labs. The quality of facilities is not bad, and it is okay. The hostel is also available. The fee structure is Rs. 90,000 per year. The canteen is not bad. Sports facilities are also available.
Faculty: In my college, teachers are so helpful to students. They are understandable. Some faculty members do not explain in a proper way, but it is okay. Semester exams are also good and not bad. My college is now autonomous, but my batch is not autonomous. More than 60% of students pass semester exams.

They teach subjects well, and they give knowledge on placements like jobs, etc. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready with high skills and technologies. Good environment for girls to study. There are average placements.
Placements: About 80% of students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered is 12 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA. The average salary package offered is 3.6 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and Capgemini. Project engineer and analyst are top roles offered in our course.
Infrastructure: In our college, we have so many facilities like hostel, transport, canteen, library, Wi-Fi, labs, and digital library. There are so many facilities in the hostel that are qualitative, which includes quality food. Infrastructure is very good and there is the availability of sports.

An unknown face of Vignan Women.
Placements: In 2024, a very small number of students got placed in campus placements due to the recession, as only 2 to 3 companies visited the college, and those were core companies, not MNCs. So, in our batch, most of us tried our best in off-campus drives. We are not blaming our college for this because they did their best to bring placements, and the recession was not their fault.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was top-notch. In recent years, they updated some more facilities as the college became autonomous. The college provided free Wi-Fi for the students, and classroom maintenance was excellent. The library also included digital resources. I was a day scholar, but according to my friends who stayed in the hostel, they were happy with the hostel's food and facilities. Games were mandatory in the college because our management cared about the student's health.
Faculty: Teachers in our college were very helpful when it came to the settlement of our future. They were friendly with us and helped us in every possible way. Since our batch was affiliated with JNTU, we followed that university's curriculum, but from our juniors onward, the college became autonomous, and they enjoyed more freedom. The pass percentage of our department was 60% to 70% in one go.
Other: I chose this course because I thought of going into core sectors, as I was less interested in the IT sector. The biggest national fest celebrated in this college was YUVTARANG, in which many colleges from nationwide participated. For merit students, the college provided reimbursement and scholarships. For one academic year, including all the branches, up to 2,000 students were there.
