All about IIPE-by-IIPE students.
Placements: Placement percentage of our college is pretty good, it is about 97%. The average salary is 10 LPA, and the highest salary is 23 LPA. Top recruiting companies of our college are HPCL, ONGC, PSUs, Haliburton, etc. So many companies are there that provide good salaries. About 97% of students got summer internships from the college, and companies like HPCL and ONGC come for the summer internship program.
Infrastructure: Facilities of our college are pretty good. We have fully air-conditioned classrooms with one projector and good quality benches are there. Overall, classrooms are pretty good. Wi-Fi facilities are also there. We also have one library and that is also good for us. We also have good labs. Hostels of IIPE are pretty good as compared to any IITs or NITs. We have one shared room with two beds, two study tables, two cupboards, and two windows. Mess is also decent. We get decent quality food. Medical facility is good.
Faculty: Teachers at IIPE are very helpful in nature and they are very qualified. They have lots of knowledge to share with us and they teach very nicely. The course curriculum is very relevant. We have practical labs in our courses, so it makes us ready for the industry. Semester exams are not that difficult. We can pass the exam with good grades if we actively participate in class and revise it once a week. The pass percentage is good, it is about 50:1.
Other: I always wanted to be an engineer so I gave my JEE exam. I got into this college after clearing JEE advance. The best thing about this course is that it is very relevant at industry-level. I think some subjects should be reduced to overcome students' burdens, and some practical subjects should be added to course. IIPE organises fest every year and also does events on special days like Independence Day or Republic Day, etc.

Everything is good and we are happy with our decision.
Placements: About 70% of the students are placed in 2023–2024. The highest package is 20.70 LPA this year (PE). The lowest package is 5 LPA (PE). The average package is 8 LPA (PE). Top recruiting companies: Halliburton, Wipro, HLS, Asian, Quant Phi, Worley, and Reliance. Internship: mostly 80% of the students got internship in ONGC .
Infrastructure: Everything is excellent. Currently, we do not have our own permanent campus so we are staying in private hostels provided by the college and they are excellent, with excellent Wi-Fi and well-equipped labs. Gym facilities and sports equipment are also available in the hostel.
Faculty: Everything is good and the syllabus is according to the GATE exam. Teachers are also helpful. Semester exams are not easy (up to the mark as you have cleared the JEE Advanced exam) and the pass percentage is 80%. The curriculum is good and we are happy with that.
Other: I love petroleum engineering because it is the highest-paying profession in the world. And I also love to work in off-shoe regions. Events are organized from time to time. Our fest is also excellent and has gotten good responses from all parts of India. Scholarship opportunities are good and extracurricular activities are also good.

Students interested in the fields of petroleum and energy must be looking at this.
Placements: The placement percentage is more than 95%, and the remaining students pursue higher studies at the Indian Institute of Management, with some opting for Masters abroad. Many PSUs recruit students from here. The average package is around 10 lakhs per annum, while the lowest package is around 4 lakhs per annum. All students also secure internships in HPCL, ONGC, and other petroleum-related companies.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is a bit of a problem because our own campus is under construction and will be completed by June 2025. The current facilities provided are excellent, considering we are still not in our permanent campus. Hostel rooms are 2-seater rooms. Sports are a developing field at our college due to a bit less freedom for sports; we use Andhra University grounds. However, we don't stop playing sports and have an annual inter-IIPE sports meet. We also participate in All India University-level tournaments.
Faculty: Faculty members are highly qualified and knowledgeable. Above all, they are friendly and approachable for both academic and non-academic issues. The curriculum is probably the best part of academics, being the latest and very helpful in making us industry-ready after the 4th year. Semester exams are not too tough if you prepare for at least three weeks in three months.
Other: Fests are conducted, and we are trying more than our level best to make them a huge success. The first fest was a success, and we are planning to make the upcoming ones even more interesting and great. Seniors here are very cool and helpful. You are unlucky if you want to be ragged by seniors because here you cannot hear the word "ragging." Ragging is not even in the slightest form here.

Helpful faculty and average placements.
Placements: Almost 95 percent of students are placed in our college's petroleum branch. The highest package was 32 lacs, the minimum was 2 lacs and the average was around 12 lacs. ONGC, HPCL and OIL are some of the biggest recruiters for our college; they offer a high package.
Infrastructure: The food quality was good, even though it was located in South India. We had North Indian food. The hostel is clean and we have a separate bathroom. A single room is shared by two people but there is enough space. Gyms and sports equipment are also available there for children.
Faculty: 85% is the pass percentage. The exams are moderate and focus on basic concepts, which helps with growth. The course is relevant as it helps students get placements in almost every other industry-based company, even other than petroleum companies. For example, our college promotes CS a lot.
Other: More field experience should be included in our course.

A new generation college making its way towards the eliteness.
Placements: Around 95% of students got placed in recent years with the highest package of 32 LPA offered by ONGC, the lowest being 4 LPA and an average of 10 LPA. Getting an internship is primarily based on your own efforts but college also provides you with opportunities to get one.
Infrastructure: You will have labs like petroleum lab, chemical lab, electrical lab, a mechanical workshop, etc. For your core studies, we have Wi-Fi on all of our campus, and we have a vast collection of the latest books and articles in our library. Classrooms are spacious and can be occupied with 100 students at once. Every student gets free medical insurance as soon as he or she joins the institute. Sports and games fests are also held annually.
Faculty: The faculty here is well qualified and at a top-notch level, similar to IITs. They are very helpful once you show them that you are willing to learn. The curriculum is to the point and the rest can be covered in the library. Semester exams are not that difficult if you are attentive in class and a regular study of 2 hours will ensure your CGPA is above 8 throughout the course.
Other: Though the academics are comparable to those at IITs, that doesn't mean students here are nerds. We also have various events like annual intra-sports meets, the "IIPE"PL, SHASWAT (our annual fest), and numerous hostel celebrations like ice-cream night, DJ night, new year celebration, Diwali and Holi celebration, etc. Girls get a scholarship of 3000 rupees, and college administration ensures their security and well-being.
